SHE caught up with her in the hallway, she (Jasira) had been walking in large strides, running and walking hence Nikky catching up with her at the hallway.
“Boss?” She called as she got to her panting heavily.
Shocked, Jasira glanced at her and still kept her pace. A maid instantly walk pass them and greeted, but turned back intermittently to stare at Jasira.
That was it, cold stares.
“I thought I said I would send for you guys,” she said, she was also panting.
“Boss I want us to talk,” Nikky said instead.
“And that was why I said I would send for you guys, so we gonna talk then,” she said.
“No, I want our talk now,” Nikky insisted and Jasira sighed, stubborn girl.
Two more maids walk pass them and greeted, but continued staring at Jasira.
“You see exactly what is going on Boss, everyone now knows about it, and everyone is talking about it too,” she said and Jasira sighed again, they had just gotten to her bedroom.
“I do not care,” she said and opened her door, flying in.
“Huh?” Nikky was stunned by her reply, she followed Jasira into the room, breezing in and closing the door behind her.
“Nobody is happy, everyone is down, include His Lordship,” she said.
Jasira rolled her eyes as she reached out for her closet, getting out a Gucci luggage.
“And do you think I am happy about that?” She asked placing the luggage on the bed and heading for the closet again.
“Then why do you still maintain your stand Momma? Why?” She questioned.
“Because I want to,” she said as she packed a handful of clothes together with the hanger and straight into the bag.
Nikky’s eyes widened, she is leaving.
“Are you travelling?” She asked, digressing a little.
She sighed.
“Something like it,” she replied, trying to stack in the clothes.
“Please Boss J, think about this again,” she came back to the main topic.
Jasira scoffed.
“There is nothing to think about Nikky, I have thought about it a long time ago,” she said as she left the bedside and headed for the dressing table.
“Really?”
“Yes,” she said and paused and turned to the mirror, “Nikky, it is my happiness we are talking about here,” she added.
Nikky’s curiosity grew.
“Your happiness?” She asked, “but you have always been happy with us, your real and true family,” she added.
Jasira sighed, looking at her reflection in the mirror.
“I did, but I found my true happiness, one I can be comfortable with for the rest of my years on earth.”
Nikky splayed her hands on her forehead.
“Oh! Momma!” She exclaimed and Jasira looked away from the mirror and went back to what she was doing, she began packing some of her lotions, make-up kits, and all those stuffs, then she headed for the bag on the bed.
“Is he worth leaving us Boss?” Nikky suddenly asked and her question, caught Jasira off guard, she wasn’t expecting it.
“Who?” She asked, trying to compose.
“Him, you know who I am talking about. Of course I know all these, is about some guy, so tell me, is he worth leaving us, leaving your life, your family, the one you have known as yours for years, is he?”
Jasira simpered. What a witty girl. She turned to Nikky and took her hands, staring into her eyes.
“He is dear, trust me, I have thought about it a countless times,” she said.
Nikky pouted, she knew it, she knew it was about a man.
“Men are scumbags momma,” she said and Jasira smiled, that was what they always said, she especially, but not until she had met Jeremy.
“This one is different, Nikky,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper, “he makes me feel… alive, in a way I haven’t felt in years,” she added.
Nikky’s eyes softened, she could sense the truth in her eyes.
“I get it Boss. Love can do that, but you have responsibilities, an empire to run. You can’t let this, let him distract you,” she said.
Jasira smiled.
“Okay forget about him now, I had always wanted to live a normal life, he kind of spurred me into achieving it.”
Her eyes widened.
“Huh! Since when?”
“It isn’t everything you know about me daughter,” she turned away from her and to her luggage, “you will be fine, everyone would be fine,” she said and zipped up the luggage.
“You think?”
She picked up the bag and other necessary stuffs, ready to leave.
“I know,” she began walking out of the room.
Nikky couldn’t say any more thing, she just watched helplessly as Jasira walked out of her presence.
“Lock my door properly when leaving, I will see you later,” and with that, she breezed out.

Clanking of glasses against another, champagne toasts, wild cheers, loud laughter, disgusting loud munching and belching was what filled the air, as Lord Lucas and his entourage sat in the dining watering their gullets.
The table had already been set for this small party since the morning, every other thing put in place, but was just waiting for the victory news for it to commence.
And the minute Lucas got the news, he had auctioned for the party to kick off at once.
“Ohh! So we did it, we bombed down his construction site, now he would have no other choice but to surrender, can’t wait for the evening news to carry it,” Lucas growled, food in his mouth as she spoke.
“A great one Lord Lucas,” that was Zach, his accomplice, “I never knew he had a construction going on,” he added.
Lucas laughed.
“That is why I am an underdog, I know every single thing going on, even down to the little wordings spoken in the bedroom,” he praised himself and everyone present nodded in agreement, and then a round of applause for him followed.
His face widened with a huge smile on it as he received the accolades.
“Sure My Lord, sure,” Zach concurred.
“That was his latest construction, it is a production company, another production company of his undergoing construction,” he threw more light.
Zach immediately burst into laughter, he could see his dreams of getting the shares with The Peterson’s company gradually coming to a reality.
Just then, one of his boys came walking majestically into the dining, heading straight for Lucas. He got to him and leaned forward, whispering into his ear.
“Are you sure of what you just said huh?” He asked and the boy nodded.
“So sure,” he replied and then walked away.
The next thing Lucas burst into uncontrollable laughter, startling the others as they looked at him, patiently waiting for him to spill it.
“Oh my! You guys would definitely not believe this, another victory,” he said as he raised up his glass of wine, and then slowly brought it to his mouth and sipped, before facing the prying eyes of the people.
“Jasira,” he began, “your Jasira, Lord Lucario’s right hand man is about to quit The Mambas Organization,” he dropped the bombshell.
“What!” They all exclaimed.
