JASIRA instantly pulled up a curious face as soon as Lord Lucario mentioned that. She was astonished.
“What did you say?” She questioned.
He scoffed and turned to face her.
“You heard me, if you want out, if you have decided that you really want out of the organization, out of the family, then you must have to undergo one final mission to claim your freedom,” he repeated.
Jasira couldn’t help but smile.
“And if I don’t?” She asked, folding her arms.
“Then no freedom, you remain here,” his eyes were widened as he spoke.
She chuckled.
“Oh my! Funny,” she said, “alright then, what is the mission? What is the task?” She asked.
He fumed, so she was damn serious about leaving? But why?
“Are you that serious Jasira?” He asked.
She sighed.
“I don’t know how many times you want me to say that I am, Lucario this is what I want,” she said.
He nodded knowingly.
“Alright then, I will get back to you,” he said and turned away from her again.
Shoving her hands into her pant pockets, she took two steps backwards then turned and left.
As she turned to leave, the weight of her decision pressed heavily on her shoulders. She knew the road ahead would be fraught with danger and uncertainty, but for the first time in her life, she felt a glimmer of hope, a chance.

For a split second Jeremy was stunned, he couldn’t even move a thing, he just stood there like someone that had been stung by an ant, staring back at the she devil before him.
“You did what?” He finally found his words.
She went on her knees instantly, rubbing her palms together.
“Jeremy I’m sorry, I-.”
“Shut up!” He shouted and she shivered, “how dare you Amelia? How dare you?” He barked ferociously, his hands fisted in a ball.
“Jeremy I… I was beginning to loose you, like you were beginning to slip off my fingers, I didn’t know what else to do, so I had to -.”
“You had to hack into my security gadgets, the security gadgets of Jeremy Petersons. Oh goodness gracious! Amelia you are beginning to take my leniency for granted -.”
She began crawling up to him, rubbing her palms against each other and pleading, hot tears were already streaming down her face, making damages to her makeover.
“Jeremy please, please -,” she pleaded.
“There is no other perfect word to describe breaking into someone’s home than this -.”
“Please Jeremy, I don’t know what got into me -.”
“You would tell that to the cops when you must have gone behind bars,” he said and began doing some things on his phone.
The wail and scream that followed the last sentence was enough to make one go deaf, Amelia screamed and wailed, begging Jeremy for mercy.
“Please darling please, don’t do this to me, you can’t put me behind bars, please.”
He suddenly stopped and smiled, then turned to her.
“Is that what you fucking think? That I can’t put you behind bars?”
“No, I know you can but please don’t do this, remember that I love you -.”
“To hell with you and your stupid love,” he shouted making her flinch.
“Please, I’m sorry,” she continued pleading, using her eyes, hands and everything to beg.
Slowly, Jeremy brought down his hand which was holding his phone, then he turned to her.
“You know Amelia, I am so highly disappointed in you, that you could go this far to putting me at risk, someone you claim you love.”
“I do,” she said in a whisper.
He kept mute for a while, staring at her. He spoke up after a few seconds.
“I’m gonna let this slide -.”
“Oh goodness!” She exclaimed, her eyes now glistening.
“I’m gonna pretend I never knew this, this all charade happened, but -,” he raised up his left index finger to his face, “now that my security gadgets have been hacked into, I’m gonna get new gadgets obviously but, if anything happens to me, or any thing that concerns me, you would be among the culprits.”
“Huh!” She exclaimed, her eyes widened in shock.
“Yes,” he nodded, “once I get the culprits arrested, I will be getting you arrested as well, because you have just hacked into it, therefore giving other thieves as you, the impetus to hack into it as well.”
“Oh! Jeremy.”
“Let anything happen to me or my properties, you and the perpetrators would go in for it.”
“Ahh! What have I brought upon myself?”
He walked out of where he stood and began advancing towards the window, making kneeling Amelia to turn even in her kneeling position.
“Get out of here at once!” Came the command in a bark.
Immediately, Amelia scrambled to her feet and rushed out of the room. As soon as she left, he rang Nathan and sent for him.
About two minutes later, there was a knock on the door and it was Nathan. He walked in closing the door behind him as he walked up to Jeremy, who still stood facing the window.
“Boss?” He called.
“My security gadgets has been tampered with,” he said, still facing the window, looking out, “do something about it,” he concluded.
“Okay Boss,” he replied, “any other thing?” He asked.
“Where are the guards by the gate?” He asked.
“They are there,” he replied, somewhat confused.
“Send for them.”
“Okay Boss,” and with that, he turned and left.
