YES, the guy just blowed off, his body was already dismembered and scattered all over the place on the floor, his blood even spluttered everywhere, touching some of the men standing close.
They all couldn’t believe their eyes.
“Holy shit!”, Jack cussed, wiping out a huge chunk of blood spluttered on his forehead.
“Holy Moly! An IED was planted in him, jeez! Jeremy has really shown us his other side”, one of the men said.
“Nnnnnnnnnnn!”, Mr Redford gnashed and angrily, walked out of the scene.
He just couldn’t bring himself to believe this happened, that Jeremy had gotten him twice, and three of his men gone, just in a twinkle of an eye. He was so angry, so angry.
“Clear up the mess”, Scott ordered and immediately went after Mr Redford, who seemed to be walking in large strides.
“Mr Redford?”, he called trying to catch up with him.
He didn’t reply, but kept on walking away, towards the back of the house.
“Mr Redford?”, Scott called again and got to him.
“What is it Scott? What?”, he barked the question.
Scott nodded knowingly, he knew he was gonna flare up, I mean who wouldn’t? After all efforts being shattered that way.
“Mr Redford I know you might not be in the right frame of mind to talk right now…”.
“Then free me”, he interrupted, “stay away”, he shouted, but Scott made a face and continued walking along with him, till they got to a particular spot behind the house and he stood.
“I can’t leave you now Sir”, he said, “I am sorry things had to turn out this way, really sorry”, he began.
Mr Redford hissed loudly, the wrinkles on his old face became more visible, he looked really stressed out.
“You need to relax and calm down Sir, you really need to”, he said.
He said nothing, and Scott continued.
“This isn’t the end of it all, we live to fight another day”, he said.
“Fight another day you said? After loosing three of my men, three”, he said raising up three of his fingers to drive home his fact.
Scott sighed.
“I know Sir, I do not see it as defeat, rather I see it as a propeller, like something to propell us and spur us into more action”, he said.
“I am not saying I see it as defeat, but loosing three of my men when we haven’t even started, to who? That little boy, whose mother birthed right before my eyes, who does he think he is?”, he barked.
Scott nodded.
“I really do understand, but that also brings us to the reality that he is ever ready than we are, his forces are stronger, we need more time to sit and plan this out”, he explained.
Mr Redford was fuming all the more.
“For what? All these are just for what?”, he questioned rhetorically, “just because that stupid girl that calls herself my daughter won’t act up real fast, always acting like a blockhead, like a dummy. Jeez!”, he cried out.
“It’s okay Sir, we will see what we can do about it”.
Mr Redford smiled weakly and patted Scott on the shoulder.
“I do not think you understand dear Scott, this is real money we are talking about here, a share of the Petersons Company, a convenant made years ago, you wouldn’t understand, until you get into my shoes”, he said and sighed.
Scott sighed again, really having nothing to say anymore.
“The lad is proving stubborn, refusing to get married to my daughter as I and his parents had earlier agreed”, he continued then trailed off.
“I will just get back home and relax as you have said, I know what to do next must drop, I know”, he said and began walking out.
“Take care of yourself Sir”, Scott said.

Since the moment Jeremy walked out of the room the minute he heard there was an emergency, Mrs Petersons has been boiling in anger, hot anger, vibrating every now and then.
“Your son just walked out on us Peter, and you couldn’t do anything about it huh?”, she asked, looking squarely at the old man, as he sat aloof, still looking into the newspaper in his hands.
“Hmm”, she mouthed and looked away, “hmm, this is really surprising of you Peter, really surprising, have you eaten what he ate too?”, she asked.
“Sarah you are really disturbing me, you aren’t letting me concentrate on my papers, please let me be”, he said.
Her eyes widened in shock.
“Really? Peter really?”, she asked.
“Okay, if you can’t get him sitted and talk, at least, you know the way to his mansion, and office, why not go there and say whatever you want to say to him”, he said.
Her mouth fell wide open, she was really dumbstruck hearing her husband utter such wordings, like he didn’t care anymore.
“Why the change of mind Peter? Why? Did he poison your mind as well?”, she asked.
“Can you hear yourself woman? Just listen to yourself speak. That my son, poison me, over what? For goodness sake, Jeremy is old enough to know what he wants, I think you should let him be, when he must have gallivanted about, he would still come back home, after realizing what is really right for him, just let the young man be”, he said.
Meanwhile, Amelia was in one of the guest rooms in the house crying herself to death.
She had arrived the house since the previous day, complaining to the old couple about how their son regards her, and never gives her any attention, she had cried so bitterly, which had resulted in Mrs Petersons, ringing Jeremy and asking him to come home.
She had been asked to wait in the room while they both talk to him, and that was the only reason she had remained indoors, else, she would have come out, at least to behold his face again, it’s been long she did, let alone hugging him so tightly.
When she couldn’t take it anymore, she came out, okay, after seeing him drove out through the window, she was still crying.
She headed for the room where the old couple sat discussing.
It was Mrs Petersons who heard her voice as she walked up to them and got up immediately.
“Oh! Ame darling, why are you crying?”, she asked, even though she knew the reason behind her tears.
“Mum, I saw him, I saw him mum”, she said, cleaning off her eyes with the back of her palm.
“You saw him where? You saw who?”, she asked, feigning not to know a thing.
“I saw Jeremy driving out, I know you couldn’t say a thing to him, I know”, she cried and sank into the nearest sofa.
Mrs Petersons was lost for words, she couldn’t say anything, she was only patting and calming her down.
She was still crying when Mr Petersons got up and walked away.
