JASIRA woke up the next morning to a startling number of missed calls and a shocking text message on one of her phones.
She had been so down after the hard work the previous day, and so just wasn’t in the mood for calls and phone business, so she put it on silent.
She checked out the caller and it was Tarmah, her brows furrowed.
Tarmah had called for forty times, then sent about ten text messages, all from her.
Jeez! She froze, what could be the problem?
She tapped on the last text she sent and her eyes quickly ran through the lines within seconds, and she froze.
**You need to drop all you are doing and listen to me please, there is an emergency and I strongly believe that you are needed big sis. At the abandoned warehouse this mid afternoon. I can’t really tell but I just know that you are needed**.
Jasira gasped, an emergency? In which she was needed? What kind of emergency was that?
She checked out the time it was sent and found out that it was sent around 5:50 am, that morning.
“Hmm”, she sighed and sank into her bed, still looking into the phone.
The abandoned warehouse? That was the warehouse located in the eastern part of the city, far in the quiet and less developed environment.
As the name implies, that warehouse was formerly used to store goods, until the owners relocated to a more boisterous and industrious environment, making it an abandoned store.
Soweto 5, it was also called Soweto 5.
What the hell could be happening? And who could this have involved? She sat back on the bed to think, and it hit her instantly.
It could be a case of kidnap, a threat call to someone, or something like that, yeah, because that was exactly what the warehouse was now used for.
Instantly she got up and dashed into the bathroom to freshen up. Few minutes after that, before she went up for breakfast, she sent for Kylo and Greg, sat them down and told them of the happenings on ground.
Together, they worked and mapped out their strategy and plans, and how they were gonna go about it.
Most importantly, it was to be kept a secret, away from a fourth ear, that even Lord Lucario himself, was kept in the dark.

Jeremy looked into the big wall clock hanging on the wall in his large office to check out the time, it was almost midday, and immediately, he began clearing his desk.
As he was doing that, Nancy stepped into the office and walked up to him.
“Good afternoon sir”, she greeted, genuflecting.
He looked up and glanced at her.
“Oh! Nancy”, he called.
“Yes sir. It’s break hour sir, what would you like me to make you?”, she asked.
“Oh! It’s break already?”, he asked, totally forgotten that the midday was the break hour.
Nancy wasn’t taken aback at all, she was used to it. There were a lot of times her boss wouldn’t know when it was already break, she would just come in and that is how he gets to find out.
“Yes sir, it is”, she replied, “um, are you heading out?”, she asked and he got up.
“Yeah, as you can see, but I won’t be long though”, he said.
“Oh! So should I forgo making your meal or…”.
“Just get on with it, I won’t be long. Make use of the timetable”, he instructed.
“Okay sir”, and she walked away into the suite.
As he stepped out, he bumped into Carrie at the door and he winced. He never wanted her to know he was heading out at that odd hour.
Carrie herself was so gobsmacked to see him, leaving. As for the much she knew, he wasn’t having any meeting with any business associates or partner, at that time, he wasn’t.
“Going somewhere?”, she asked and stopped.
“Mm”, he shortly replied and continued walking, then walked pass her.
“Where?”, she asked.
“Somewhere that doesn’t concern you, see you when I return”, he said and continued walking.
Carrie just stood in awe with her mouth ajar, watching him walk away. Then with anger, she turned and headed into his office still, she knew Nancy must be in.
Jeremy got outside and to the parking lot, his guards surrounded him immediately. He turned to the chauffeur.
“Give me the car key”, he said.
“Huh?”, the chauffeur was taken aback, “boss, I…”.
“Are you deaf? I didn’t speak with water in my mouth driver”, he ranted and the shaken chauffeur, handed the keys to him without more hesitation.
Then he looked at the other guards.
“I wanna be left alone”, he said but they hesitated to leave and he glared at them, and they flee.
As soon as they left, he jumped into the car and drove off towards the entrance, and then out to the road.
He drove like mad and just couldn’t wait to get to his destination. Few minutes later, he was there, his destination, Soweto 5, the abandoned warehouse.
The warehouse was as expected quiet, and lonely. He parked his car along the quiet roadside and walked into the environs on foot.
He got to the entrance and stopped at the doorway, which was actually closed.
“Hello?”, he called and looked around him.
“Hello anybody here?”, he asked and after few minutes of standing there and asking, a masked guy with a gun opened the door and came in view.
Jeez! Jeremy cringed. Who the hell was this?
“Who are you?”, he asked, his voice as calm as ever.
The masked guy didn’t say anything, but just looked him over.
“Jeremy?”, he asked, pointing at him.
“Mm. Who are you? And what was with the damn call yester night?”, he asked, trying to be calm although he wasn’t.
The guy didn’t say anything but only looked away from him and went ahead to scrutinise the environs, and then without notice, he forcefully dragged him into the warehouse and he entered with a thud, stamping his both feet on the wooden floor.
“Hey!”, he called and the next thing, the masked guy placed the little iron killer with him on his temple, and Jeremy went cold instantly.
That didn’t quiet him though.
“Who are you? You still haven’t answered my question”, he said and the guy hushed him.
“Shhhh. Just come with me”, he said and gently pushed him, and they began walking along.
They walked along a corridor and then took a left turn into a room. There in the room was about three other guys.
As soon as the duo came in, they immediately blindfolded Jeremy, and tied his hands to the back quickly, taking him by surprise. It all happened within seconds.
“What… the hell!”, he spat out.
“We would be taking you somewhere safe”, one of the guys spoke, “just be at your best behavior wonderful CEO”, he concluded in a calm voice.
Jeremy kept still, and obeyed. They walked out of the room and began heading for the outside, holding and guiding Jeremy as they went.
As soon as they got out, they walked him to their car immediately, and that was when the unexpected happened.
Out of the blues, a bullet from nowhere hit the guy holding Jeremy on the leg.
“Ahhhhhh!”, he shouted and fell down, turning as he did, trying to see who shot. The others turned as well and when they saw no one, they became at alert.
Instantly, two of the guys went down to work. One held the guy who has just been shot, and the other held Jeremy and began pushing him to the car.
Another bullet came again and hit the one pushing Jeremy to the car and he also shouted and fell down.
“Ahhhh!”, the other one shouted, and began looking around, possibly for the shooter.
“Show yourself you walking corpse, show yourself?”, he shouted at the top of his voice and left their side, further into the environs of the warehouse.
The remaining other guy managed to take in the two injured guys into the car, and then returned for Jeremy, who by now was already panicking and trying to set himself free.
He was still bundling in Jeremy into the car when suddenly, another stray bullet hit him, twice and he shouted out, wincing in pain and he fell down.
The remaining guy left saw all these and went so green with anger. He looked around again.
“Show yourself, I dare you, show yourself”, he shouted and instantly, a dark figure appeared from behind him, making a cackling laughter, and slowly he turned to behold a lady in black.
“Who are you?”, he asked.
The figure ignored his question and began walking up to him and as she did, he slowly raised up his gun and cocked, before he could pull the trigger, two bullets landed on his stomach and he fell with a thud to the ground.
That was Jasira. She smirked and turned, then stopped halfway to the car as she watched the blindfolded guy trying to set himself free.
Just then, Kylo and Greg came into view.
“Untie him”, she said to them and Greg got down to work.
“Hey, relax okay, you are safe now”, he said as Jeremy tried making some moves, and that was when he calmed down and let Greg untie him.
He untied the rope used in tying up his hands to the back, then left him to remove the blindfold, which he did.
With a rush Jeremy removed the blindfold and the first thing his eyes saw, were two guys standing next to him and staring, in a blurred vision, then he looked away from them and that was when his blurry vision started becoming clear.
There was someone also standing there, and he could see it. He couldn’t believe his eyes as soon as he saw her, it was his beautiful lady!
