AN apology letter? And a new phone? Jeez! Jasira couldn’t help it, the astonishment on her face was so visible, then she snorted.
As for apology, she had already forgiven her, since the day it happened, and as for the phone, it had already been replaced by Lord Lucario.
Besides, she was so damn sure that whatever was given to her, the apology letter, the phone, none was coming from the depth of her (Amelia) heart, someone or something must have propelled her to do it.
So without taking any of the items out, she handed the bag back to the guy who had given it to her, he was looking surprised.
“Here, you can have it. Tell her I have forgiven her, long ago, but I can’t accept any of this”, she said, her hand still hung in the air as the guy was reluctant to collect it back.
“Um… ma’am, I’m sorry, it’s for you”, he said.
Jasira went peeved instantly, and she got up, the guy flinched backwards.
“Don’t keep me hanging my hand in the air, take this damn stuff away before I…”, Lord Lucario interrupted.
“Little cat”, he called and she turned to him, the others turned as well, all looking at him.
“Accept it”, he said.
“Huh?”, she mouthed.
“Just do as I say. It’s just a harmless stuff, nothing special attached”, he said.
She sighed, and slowly brought down her hand, then turned to the guy.
“You can go, tell her it’s accepted”, she said.
“Thanks for your audience”, they said in unison and bowed, then walked away, followed behind by Mawthie.
Jasira sank into the sofa she was sitting on and turned to Lord Lucario, pouting. He snorted.
“I never wanted to accept it, I do not need anything from her”, she said.
“But you just said you have forgiven her, long ago. So why can’t you accept it?”, he asked and the others began giggling.
She looked at them all with an amusing expression on her face, then she rolled her eyes.
“Whatever”, she said and dipped her right hand into the bag, bringing out the envelope.
She tore it open and her eyes ran through the lines immediately, with an expressionless face.
After reading, she handed it to Lord Lucario, who took it and began reading.
Then she dipped her hand again into the bag and brought out the phone, it was a sparkling new one still in it’s packet.
“Jeez!”, Kylo exclaimed, “that’s the latest iPhone”, he said and everyone turned to look at it.
“Wow!”, they all gasped, excluding Lord Lucario.
Jasira scoffed.
“All these never marvels me”, and she put it back into the bag.
“Hmph, I think this heiress girl was advised by someone to do this, considering who you are”, Lord Lucario said handing over the letter back to Jasira who took it.
“How do you mean father?”, she asked.
He sighed.
“Someone must have told her who you are, because I do not think she does. And that same person must have told her to apologize straightaway and probably, replace the phone she smashed”, he explained.
“Hmm”, Jasira mouthed.
“Huh? Me, I think it must be her fiance who did, he knows better than her”, Greg said.
Jasira turned to him, and her thoughts ran wild instantly. Jeremy? It might be, but hold on, if really he knows better than Amelia just as Greg had said, then why would he still be after her?
Why would he still try to get her if he knows that she is in the mafia? Hmm, something isn’t just right somewhere.
“Are you here boss?”, Kylo who sat next to her tapped her on the shoulder.
She sighed.
“Oh yeah, just thinking”, she said.
“Thinking about what? We have been calling your name for some seconds now”, Lord Lucario said and her eyelids flickered.
“Huh? I’m fine, I’m good”, she said and began folding the envelope, then she put it into the bag.
“Let me go keep this”, she said and got up, then walked out of the living room.
……Few Days Later……
Tarmah was sitted patiently under the bush bar tent beside the swimming pool in the eatery that fateful morning, surfing on her phone and glancing at intervals towards the gate.
She was waiting for someone, and that person didn’t even know she was waiting for her. She was waiting for Jasira.
Yeah, Jasira. That fateful day she had eavesdropped on Amelia and Zoey chatting away in her (Amelia) room, after confronting them, she had immediately left to her own room and settled down for work.
She had gone online to look for the video just to see who the lady in question, the one whom her sister had a brawl with, was.
She couldn’t recognize her and so she quickly went into the comment section and that was where she got reports about her.
Hmm, she was mesmerized that afternoon as she read the comments people said about her.
That she was a well known mafia, a notorious one, young and smart, strong and bold, a queen mafia, right hand man to Lord Lucario, the most dreaded mafia Lord, a member of the Mambas Organisation, a boss lady, boss J.
She smiled, instantly, she fell in love with her, all she saw people commented about this Jasira lady, made her like her.
And off she went into her search engine to read about her, and she got enough information, at least enough to know that she was gonna be in that eatery that morning.
Jasira always visits the eatery every Thursday morning, and today was Thursday. She wanted to meet with her, and that was why she had come.
Few minutes later, she saw her Jeep drove in through the entrance gate, she knew it already and instantly, she sat up, and fixed her gaze on the car.
She watched the car drove to a free space at the parking lot and halted, then a guy came down immediately from the front and opened the back.
Slowly and magnificently, she watched Jasira alighted. Oh my! She wanted to scream out.
Jasira was looking all sweet and smart that morning in a black hoodie, black trousers and black boots.
“Hmm, she is always putting on black”, Tarmah muttered to herself smiling.
After Jasira had alighted, the guy who had opened the door closed it and two other guys immediately joined them.
With two behind her, and one in front, they walked into the eatery, Tarmah watched in awe.
She just couldn’t believe how a young girl as this, could carry and move with such a command and domineering charisma, she was marvelled.
After about thirty minutes, when she was sure Jasira must have settled, she got up, walked through the side of the pool, and up to the entrance of the eatery, and then she stood at the glass door, it opened on its own accord, and she entered.
As soon as she entered a cold chilling air caressed her skin, and she inhaled. The aroma which greeted her nose was alluring and sniff sniff, her nose moved like a dog.
She stood at the doorway and within minutes glanced around. Anyways, this wasn’t her first time of coming to that eatery, she had been there like more than five times, on different occasions.
Immediately, her eagle eyes sighted them sitted in a secluded corner, at her left far end, she smiled and boldly walked up there.
One of the guys immediately halted her few steps to their table, and she stood.
“Hey, you. Who you looking for? Who you?”, he asked and she scoffed.
“Tarmah, looking for…”, she looked towards her and saw her taking off her hoodie and smoothening her hair, and she smiled, “… your boss. Your boss doesn’t know me…”, she trailed off.
He shrugged his shoulders.
“So?”, he asked.
“… but I do know her. I just wanna see her please, talk with her, you know”, she winked, and the guy scoffed, looking her over.
“Any appointments?”, he asked.
She shook her head.
“Nope”, she shortly replied.
He looked her over again, then snorted.
“You wait here”, he said to her and turned, then walked up to the table.
“Boss, there is someone here to see you. Says her name is Tarmah”, he said pointing, and Jasira’s eyes followed the direction of his outstretched hand and they landed on Tarmah.
The other two guys sitted next to her followed the direction as well.
Quickly, Jasira scrutinised this girl, she was a stranger. Just a girl, might even just be a fan, besides this wasn’t the first time people come seeking her attention without being on appointments with her, they come on regular basis.
“Said what she wants?”, she asked licking her lips.
“Nope boss, just said she wants to see you”, he replied.
“Let her in”, she ordered.
“Yes boss”, he said and walked back to Tarmah.
“Can I come with you?”, she asked impatiently, and he frowned.
“No rush”, he said and began searching her, placing his hands on her body and avoiding her sensitive parts.
“Hey!”, she called in astonishment.
Having done that, he nodded satisfactorily.
“Come with me”, he said and turned, she followed, smiling sheepishly.
As soon as they got to the table, she bowed sightly.
“Good day ma’am Jasira”, she said and then waved her left hand, grinning at her.
“Good day”, she waved at the two guys sitting by her sides, they smiled back at her and grunted a reply.
Jasira simpered.
“Good day, who am I speaking to?”, she asked.
Tarmah sighed deeply, then smiled, hmm, her voice was firm, so firm, and commanding.
“Tramah ma’am, my name is Tarmah, Tam for short”, she said, revealing her thirty two.
“Hmph”, she mouthed and began looking her over.
“I’m harmless ma’am, I just like you and really want meet with you”, she said.
“Mm, I see”, she nodded, “so to what do I owe this meeting, impromptu meeting?”, she added and picked up a box chocolate from the small plate before her on the table, and threw it into her mouth.
“Nothing that serious ma’am, I just want us to talk. Like, I just like you”, she said.
Jasira nodded knowingly, slowly chewing on her chocolate. She was used to this, it wasn’t the first time.
“Sit”, she motioned her to a seat opposite her, and the smiles on her face deepened.
“Thank you ma’am”, she said and shoved back the seat, then sat.
She looked at the table and saw the plate of chocolate, some phones, expensive ones, a bottle of Hennessy, and a pack of cigarette.
Just then, a waiter approached their table carrying a tray of glass tumblers, and he set it before them.
“Hey, fetch us one more glass please”, Jasira said to him and he nodded.
“Alright ma’am”, and he left.
“Um… ma’am, I have read so much about you, I like you already, I like your personality”, Tarmah said.
Jasira looked at her through the under of her eyes, she felt like laughing out. Oh really? Someone likes her to this extent?
“Seriously?”, she asked and Tarmah nodded.
“I see. Are you really sure you read about me as you said, to have liked my personality?”, she asked.
“Yeah, I’m sure, so sure. Ma’am, I just like you, and I would like to be your friend”, she said and the guys with them gasped.
At this juncture the waiter returned with the glass and kept it on the table, then walked out.
“Mico, get on with the wine”, she ordered and one of the guys set down to work immediately.
Then Jasira laughed and turned to this amazing girl sitting right in front of her.
“You said you want us to be friends? That’s impossible girl. I have no friends, and have no intentions to keep one, not now, not ever”, she said.
Tarmah nodded knowingly, like she was already expecting it.
“Well ma’am, I am not giving up, I know what I want and I must get it”, she said and Mico filled her glass and dropped it in front of her.
“Thank you”, she said to him smiling, and he nodded in response.
Jasira smiled, determined girl just like her. She has said before that this wasn’t the first time people come seeking her attention right? But this one looks different, she is literally asking for her friendship, amusing.
Then she closely looked at her, and noticed there was a striking resemblance in her, like she had met her before.
Instantly, she knew. She was really looking like that Amelia girl, but hold on, she hasn’t called her surname all the while.
“You said your name is what again?”, she deliberately asked.
“Tarmah”, she shortly replied.
Jasira simpered and nodded knowingly, the girl was avoiding mentioning that, and she was doing it deliberately.
“Well…”, she said and picked up her glass of wine, “friends you want? Then you shall get”, she said and Tarmah screamed out, rejoicing.

Amelia angrily strolled into her father’s study looking sad and worried. It was just hours ago that she had just sent the letter and phone to that mafia lady,…. because of Jeremy anyways.
She walked into the room and shoved the seat opposite the old man as he sat, looking into a book.
“Good evening Dad”, she greeted.
He looked up.
“Good evening Ame, what is wrong? You look puzzled, worried, sad, what is wrong? Go on and tell me?”, he asked and dropped down the book.
She sighed deeply.
“Dad I need something”, she said, pouting.
“And what is that? What does my sweetheart needs that is making her look this sad?”, he asked.
She kept mute for a while, trying to think of how best to bring this up, her father waited patiently.
“Dad it’s been a year now, literally two years since I finished from college, you still haven’t handed the company to me, and let me take over. Dad what is wrong? Why is it taking so long?”, she finally asked.
Mr Redford sighed.
“I know dear, I am just taking my time”, he replied.
She hit her right fisted palm on the table.
“There you go again. You are taking too much time Dad. This has always been your reply whenever I ask”, she complained and he smiled.
This girl, does she thinks that he was gonna just hand over the family’s company to her? Just like that, without a price? Or without a job huh?
“Alright, I think it’s time I tell you, there is a price. If you really want to take over the company, then there is work for you to do”, he said.
She looked at him inquiringly.
“Go on Dad, what is that? What can I do to take over this company?”, she asked.
He smiled and shook his head, then looked at her.
“You would have to get Jeremy put a ring on that finger of yours, and then take you to the church”, he said in a rush.
“What!”, she exclaimed.
