JEREMY was stunned at the news he just heard, he couldn’t believe his ears, he just couldn’t. What the hell did Carrie just say? That Belinda was married? Damn! And to think that he had already accepted and granted what she wanted, so that’s how he would have slept with a married woman, not just a married woman but one whose husband’s company and his just signed to partner together in business. Jeez!
He was staring at Carrie, dumbfounded and speechless.
“What… did you just say?”, he finally found his words.
Carrie chuckled sarcastically.
“Belinda is a married woman, fully married woman”, she said, picking her last three words one after the other.
“H… how the hell did you come about knowing that?”, he asked.
She laughed.
“What do you take me for Mr Jeremy? I am your personal assistant for crying out loud, I know your dos and don’ts, what you like doing and what you hate doing, I investigated”, she said and twisted her lips.
He sighed deeply, totally unaware of what to do or say. He just stared. But how dare she? How dare Belinda? So she is married, and still wants to sleep with him huh?
“It’s okay, you can leave”, he said to her and got up.
Frowning her face again, she left the office, reluctantly.
Thankful to God for saving him from an impending danger, he went into the suite.

After breakfast with Lord Lucario, Jasira went into her room to do some underground work.
When it was midday, she came out and requested to see a selected few of her gang. Within minutes, they gathered together in a room.
Few minutes after they had gathered, Jasira slowly walked into the room, in her usual and characteristic manner, they all got up the minute she entered.
She went in and did her little scrutiny, studying everyone and looking into their faces, she never misses doing that.
Having done that, she cracked her voice.
“Sit”, her firm voice ordered and they sat.
They were just four guys in all, her two right hand men, and the other two whom she asked to get info concerning Tagged, the last time they met; Greg, Kylo, Mico and Damon.
She sat down as well on an empty sofa adjacent them.
“Lord Lucario has just informed me of a recent development concerning Tagged, and his mother”, she began.
“You all know his mother has been in our custody for very a long time now. That is how stubborn Tagged is. He prefers his career to his mother”, she said.
“What is the recent development boss?”, Greg asked.
“Our client is asking for Tagged”, she dropped it.
“Huh… what!”, they all gasped.
Jasira simpered, expecting those reactions.
“Tagged? Tagged himself?”, Mico asked, “but he has…”.
“A lot of security, I know”, she interrupted him and he sighed.
“Of course I do know his security is thick and may not be easy to go through, there and then, we can find other ways to bring him down. There are a lot of ways to catch a fish you know?”, she rhetorically asked, looking at their faces.
“Okay boss, so how we gonna do this?”, Kylo asked.
“Good question. How we gonna do this? Now you all think, that was why I brought you guys here, think with me”, she said.
There was some minutes of silence as everyone racked their brains. Suddenly, Damon smiled mischievously.
“Boss?”, he called.
Jasira turned to him.
“Speak”, she said.
“No matter how difficult it is to catch a fish, there is always a bait it would fall victim for, always. Let’s use a bait to get him”, he said.
The other guys nodded in concurrence, there were in support.
“Tagged’s bait isn’t difficult to know,… women, he loves women even more than alcohol”, Greg spoke, fully convinced.
Jasira nodded satisfactorily, that was true. That is his weakness, he loves women a lot, and despite being the leader of a dance band, he was a chronic womanizer.
That’s just what they were going to do, use women to get him, she got that already.

Jeremy got home exactly 5:30 pm in the evening. As soon as he stepped into the house, he met his old man on his favourite couch, glancing through a magazine. He was always reading, always.
“Good evening Dad”, he greeted and made to walk pass him, but the old man looked up and called him back.
“Come here son”, he said, adjusting the glasses perched on his nose.
Jeremy winced and turned to his father.
“Yes?”, he said.
Mr Petersons cleared his throat and closed the magazine.
“What again have you done at work today son?”, he asked, without even responding to his greetings.
His eyelids flickered, he was confused.
“What do you mean father?”, he asked.
“News reached me that you sacked yet another worker today at work, the fourth in two weeks”, he said.
Jeremy made a face, who was those blabber mouths? Then he turned to his father.
“The last time I checked father, it’s my company, and I run it the way I choose to”, he said.
Mr Petersons eyes widened.
“Really? By running down the company? Jeremy in few months now, there would be no single staff in that company”, he stated.
Jeremy snorted.
“God damn it father. For goodness sake there are a lot of unemployed people out there, willing to take this job. You just worry yourself a lot”, he said and turned to leave.
His father fumed.
“I am not done talking with you, and you are walking away”, he said.
Jeremy said nothing in reply to him, but just walked away. Jeez! His old man was always on his neck each day after work, he must have something to complain about. Why not? He has eyes in the company.
Well, it wasn’t his fault, it was rather his, Jeremy’s fault. If he had agreed to stay in his own mansion which was at the southern part of New Jersey, his father wouldn’t have been seeing him to talk to.
The mansion was just there anyway, he only uses it occasionally.
He could still hear his father talking and shouting behind him, as he took the stairs. He really do hope he doesn’t get to see his mother as well, he wasn’t ready for her own talk.
He got to the room of his door and opened. As soon as he entered, a call came into one of his phones.
He looked into the phone, closing the door behind him. It was a private number. Who could it be? Who dares call him with a private number huh?
He left the phone ringing and then walked up to the bed, dropped his iPad and phones on it, and took off his suit.
The phone stopped ringing and he sat on the bed to take off his shoes. As soon as he did, the call came in again. He picked up the phone and answered.
“Yeah?”, his cold voice cut deep into the phone.
“Oh! Mr Jeremy, is that you?”, a cheerful female voice spoke into the phone and he recoiled.
He already knew who it was, judging from the voice. But gee, what was she really looking for? He kept mute and said nothing.
“Hey, is someone there?”, she asked after some minutes of silence.
He sighed deeply.
“What do you want Belinda?”, he asked.
She laughed, irritating him all the more.
“Come on Jeremy, don’t tell me you have forgotten what we discussed just this afternoon. I have been waiting for the text you promised to send”, she said.
He snorted.
“I don’t do that with married women, therefore, there is no text to be sent”, he said.
“Huh?”, he heard her mouthed.
“You heard me right, now get off my phone”, he said and made to hang up, but she halted him.
“Ugh… hold on please, hold on. Do you mean to tell me you didn’t like what you saw today?”, she asked.
He gritted his teeth in anger, fuming.
“Now listen and listen good, if you keep insisting on this, then I would have no other choice than to withdraw my assistance from that stupid company run by you and your husband”, and he hung up.
“Jeez!”, he mouthed and flung the phone aside, then got ready to freshen up.
Few minutes later, he was done and decided to go down for dinner, he hated having meals on bed, and in his bedroom. He prefers having it on the dining.
As soon as he opened the door and was about to step out, he froze on the spot. There at door was Amelia, again.
