The day for the basketball competition between Watermark high school and Daylight high school was finally at its peak.
The competition would be starting in the next 10 minutes as the invited school arrived and sat at the place created especially for them.
Well, our school was the one hosting the competition.
I haven’t seen Lucas since we departed from each other this morning.
Well, he would be quite busy, training his teams, too bad Damien wouldn’t be able to participate in the game even though I begged Lucas to forgo what happened the other time but he stubbornly refused.
We were using the basketball court which was quite big and spacious. The hall was neatly decorated with balloons, ribbons, and flex.
I, Beatrice, and Leticia picked our seats on the lower level, the setting of the court was like that of a stadium.
“This will give us a better view,” Beatrice said as she crouch on her seat and placed her pink fashion bag on her lap.
I sat in the middle with Leticia and Beatrice by my side.
The Cheerleaders of the school walked along our side and our eyes glued on them as they swayed their hips and the very short blue skirt they were wearing showed the half part of their butts, and they matched it up with a white sleeveless top which was tucked in.
“Wow! That’s hot!” Leticia shrilled out while I and Beatrice turned our heads in her direction and glared at her.
“I see nothing hot about them,” Beatrice scoffed and brought out the pack of popcorn in her bag.
“Hello Everyone!” We heard a deep masculine voice say through the speakers as we craned our necks among the crowds to see who the host was.
“Hello Kids, The competition is about to start and I want everyone to settle down… We’ll be having a performance from watermark’s band, clap your hands for the cheerleaders of this great school,” The Host roared while everyone cheered and screamed happily while some clapped which is me and my two friends.
The lights in the hall became dim as the cheerleaders ran up to the stage with good vibes surrounding them.
One could tell from the determination and boldness on their face.
Susan and Bella were the ones who came forward as they pose widening their legs.
The whole school oohed and clapped their hands immediately they heard the song and saw the cheerleaders dancing.
They twisted, swayed, and Even jump as they danced with their efforts.
“I didn’t know that bitch there could dance this well,” Beatrice snickered as she was referring to Susan who swung her head to the sideway with her hair following along.
They kept on dancing as they split wide legs on the floor.
“Wow!” I chuckled and clapped my hands.
“Why are you clapping?” Beatrice asked suddenly turning her face to mine.
“The dance was awesome, so I think it deserves a clap from me,” I said gazing into her grey eyes.
“Whatever… don’t clap for those jerks,” She said annoying while I let out an exasperated sigh.
“Wow! That was amazing from the Watermark’s cheerleaders,” We heard from the speakers as everyone echoed and clapped their hands.
“Now, it’s time for the Daylight cheerleaders to come up. For their performance,” Everyone was clapping including I and Leticia while we both turned our heads to see our dearest Beatrice helping herself with popcorns.
“This isn’t a movie cinema!” Leticia said while Beatrice rolled her eyes with a duh look plastered on her face.
Everyone started shouting and screaming as we saw girls walk in a very similar dressing like ours… But theirs was a white skirt that was freaking short with a pink top and Pink socks that reached their knee.
“Must that skirt be very short?” I asked annoyingly when a girl bent down and showed us a very good view of her ass.
Some guys behind us laughed and pointed towards the girl in light brownish hair.
“That’s the ethics, Camilla,” Beatrice said and threw popcorn in her mouth.
“Their choice,” I muttered stretching my arms as I grabbed some of Beatrice’s popcorn and started eating it.
“Leticia, you want some?” I nudged her because she was engrossed in the dance she was watching.
“Huh?” She asked absent-mindedly staring her dark eyes into mine.
“Want some popcorn?” I asked showing her the popcorn in my palm.
“Oh!” She said taking a little from me and threw inside her mouth.
The girls finished with their performance and Everyone clapped for them as they strutted out of sight.
“Now, every one it’s time for what we came here for,” The host said and everyone echoed and clapped their hands as the boys in our school started walking into the court.
“That’s Ben over there,” Leticia said leaning forward.
“Where?” Beatrice asked curiously as she leaned forward too and crane her neck with her eyes darting everywhere in search of him.
“Over there!” I pointed as I saw him behind Lucas as the both of them talked.
“Oh okay!” She said when she found him and leaned back to her seat.
“Sort things with him, you missed him,” I said placing my hand over her own that held the handle of her seat as she let out a sigh.
“I’ve told her but she’s acting the strong girl,” Leticia spoke while Beatrice threw another popcorn into her mouth and frowned.
“OMG! See those guys from the other school, that one especially… He’s so handsome and tall,” Leticia said dreamily as we tried to point out the person she was referring to.
“Basketball players must be tall but where is he?” Beatrice asked as Leticia pointed at him.
“Oh! Shit, he’s handsome,” Beatrice mouthed as we stared at the guy in a black sleeveless jersey and shorts with a red print indicating his number which was six.
He was tall just like Lucas and had white brownish hair and when he turned towards our side Leticia squealed again using her hands to cover her mouth.
“His eyes,” she muttered while Beatrice and I laughed. The cute guy had icy colored eyes which were unique for him.
Some girls waved at him and when he smiled, his dimples showed adding more to his features.
“He has a bad aura,” Beatrice said still staring at him with squinted eyes.
“Why would you say that?” Leticia said feeling offended by Beatrice’s blunt statement.
“She means he might be the bad boy of his school just like Lucas,” I said wondering if I wasn’t blunt myself.
“Exactly!” Beatrice agreed.
“That’s not true, you guys haven’t even talked with him yet,” Leticia defended as Beatrice and I turned our faces to her surprisedly.
“I think someone is crushing on the guy from another school,” Beatrice said turning her gaze to Leticia as she smirked.
“N-No… I’m not crushing on him, just trying to defend him,” she stuttered avoiding our curious gaze.
“Hmm! Defend you say,” Beatrice snorted and turned her head back to the field as the game as started already.
I sighed and focused on the players… well, most especially Lucas.
The game started and everyone was busy shouting happily or sadly when we missed a score.
The cheerleaders on their part made sure to cheer the guys on each team.
Everyone screamed happily when Lucas threw the ball into the net and I clapped my hands joyously.
“That’s my bestie boyfriend,” Beatrice cooed while I quickly covered her mouth with my palms and glared at her while she widened her eyes at me and tried to say, “What?”
“Keep it low,” I whispered glaring at her while she nodded, luckily people were too focused on the match and the noise among us wouldn’t let them hear that much.
We kept on watching and it seems that the match would soon end with us leading.
I felt really pressed suddenly and stood up…
“I’m coming, need to go to the toilet,” I notified them as they nodded.
“Don’t sleep there,” Beatrice cautioned smacking her lips at me as she focused on those playing while I kicked her ankle lightly.
I made my way through the seats and went to the exit door.
I got out of the hall and made my way to the toilet.
I suddenly felt goosebumps all over me as my heartbeat fastly than it should.
I stopped in my tracks and looked around to make sure no one was following and saw no one suspicious except for some students hanging around. I continued walking to the female toilet and opened the door.
I entered into one of the stalls and unzipped my trousers and sat on the water closet eased myself as a sigh of relief ran through me.
I heard the door open and close and thought it was another female as I stood up from the closet and flush and did my zip back to its position.
I opened the door and walked over to the sink to watch my hands.
I applied some antiseptic liquid soap to my hands and began rubbing them together as I switched on the tap and rinsed the lather off and turned to wipe my hands over the black jeans I was wearing.
“Finally got you!” A voice startled me as I looked up and moved backward stopped by the wash hand sink.
I shook for no reason as I stared at a guy in a black hoodie and black cap putting on a pair of black jeans unable for me to see his face with his head bowed as he stood in front of me with his hands in the pocket of the hoodie he was wearing.
“Wh-Who are you?” I stammered as he started walking closer to me, he stopped a few inches away and brought out his hand, and raised it to remove the hoodie cap covering his face.
I froze when he looked at me with a devilish smirk plastered on his face.
“Damien!” I gasped wobbly.
