Lucas had gone to school and I sat in his room fondling with my phone. I scrolled through the pictures in my gallery when I saw Mum and Dad’s picture with me taken together when I was a little girl.
A tear dropped from my face suddenly dropping on the screen of my phone.
I missed them so much and Lillian I wonder if she was fine even though she betrayed me and made me despise her I couldn’t help but think of how she’s faring. She’s the only family I got and I can’t bring myself to hate her fully no matter how hard I tried but it’s better that way since hate will just bring bitterness and sorrow if I think about her in such a way.
I sprang up immediately dropping my phone on the bed and put on a pair of sandals, I wore a blue round top and black jeans while my hair was packed in a ponytail.
I wanted to go to my home, just to hold their clothes or pictures, to feel them in my soul once again.
I know I’m not supposed to do that not until I’m strong enough due to my depressed state but my therapist said I was improving and getting better so I need to be brave and get the hell out of my shell.
I grabbed my phone when I heard a Knock on the door that got me startled.
Sometimes I still have a panic attack seeing some servants, and that’s because I haven’t gotten used to them, I just wished it would be Veera, she had been the only one I’ve made a friendship bond with.
“Yes, Come in,” I said staring at the door when the doorknob turned and Veera stepped in as a sigh of relief washed down my face.
“Good morning beauty,” She chirped walking into the room with a food tray in her hands.
“Good morning, Veera,” I smiled taking in her lovely features, she was dressed in her uniform wearing a black and white gown, the upper was white while the lower was blank and stopped below her knee with those slender milky legs of hers.
She was tall and would fit into modeling.
She looked beautiful with her black hair packed up in a bun, with a light red-coated lipstick on her lips and matching black flats.
“I brought in your breakfast, how are you doing?” She asked placing the food tray gently on the bed.
“I’m good, what about you?” I asked smiling at her.
“I’m fine,” She smiled gazing at my face.
“Are you going somewhere?” She asked staring at my feet then back to my face.
“Uhm! Yeah,” I said truthfully while she raised a brow at me.
“I’m not leaving, I just want to go out, I’m not used to staying in one place all the time, you know walk through the street and the rest,” I said but me saying I didn’t like staying at one place and love going out was a total lie, I prefer being alone because I normally feel anxious and insecure around people.
“Oh! I thought you were leaving, I would be sad because the young master will become a terrorist if you leave,” She chuckled while I smiled warmly at her.
“You captured his heart, you need to see how happy he was always, he hadn’t been that happy ever since…” She trailed off a tint of sadness emphasized on the word since.
“His mother left him and his cousin died in a plane crash,” I completed the statement for her while she shot a surprised gaze at me.
“He told you?” She asked while I nodded and she smiled again.
“He never opened up to anyone, you are so special,” She said while I laughed lightly at her words.
I wasn’t special to Lucas these past years I looked like someone he hated with purity and wanted to wipe off the face of the earth but I’m happy all that is in the past now.
“Thank you!” I replied while Veera gave me a grin.
“I’ll be leaving now since said you’ll be going out, please do enjoy the food,” She said and made her way to the door before stopping in her tracks.
“Does the young master know you’re going out?” She asked then it dawn on me that he doesn’t know I’ll be going out.
“Yes, he knows,” I lied and she nodded before closing the door gently behind her.
I walked over to the bed and opened the food tray, it was toast bread with scrambled eggs sauce and cheesecake with slices of bacon with a full glass cup of milk.
I ate the food immediately and walked over Lucas’s chest that was beside his bed and pulled the upper draw as I grabbed my medication.
I see no reason still using these crazy drugs, my stomach was healing already and my depressive state was getting normal but I just groaned slightly staring at the tablets in my hands, and used the drugs rushing it down my throat with water.
I said I wanted to go out but had forgotten I had a 2-hour therapy session to attend by 10.
I sighed, I wanted to go out and return before Lucas would be back from school.

“Do I still need to use my antidepressant since you said I was improving?” I asked getting fed up with those drugs.
I don’t see the use of using them when I hadn’t had a nightmare for a while.
“Yes dear till you’re completely fine,” My therapist said putting her notepad in her bag and adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose.
“Okay!” I grumbled lowly while she stood up from her seat and started heading to the door as her stilettos heels made clicking sounds on the marbled floor.
I sat in my chair in the study room and after waiting for like 20 minutes I stood up from my seat and walked out of the room.
My iPhone was with me and I had $500 in Jean’s pocket, which will do for transportation and I still know the way to my house very well.
I got out of the mansion and shit it dawn on me that from the mansion to the main gate was a very long distance.
I groaned lightly stomping my feet on the floor
I wondered why their home was built like a palace.
“They’re billionaires, stupid!” My mind retorted.
“Yeah!” I groaned out lowly placing my hands on my hips.
“Miss, How can I help you?” A voice startled me behind and I turned around to see a plump old man with a potbelly, well not that old maybe he should be around his 50’s or 60’s but he sure does look old in my eyes.
I glanced at the white shirt he wore and the black suit jacket with trousers, he looked like a chauffeur.
“Please, are you the driver? Young master told me earlier one should take me to the gates,” I said staring at the old ma’am and almost chuckled when I called Lucas young master.
“Yes dear, and who are you to young master?” He asked staring at me awkwardly.
“I-I…” I stuttered looking for a word to describe how I was related to Lucas.
“His girlfriend, I’m his girlfriend!” I smiled at the old and his face brightened with astonishment.
“Ohh! You’re the beauty who captured the young master’s heart everyone is talking about, nice to meet you, I’m Mr. McNeil,” He smiled.
“Ca-Camilla… Call me Camila,” I smiled.
“Okay, this way,” He said leading the way while I followed behind him, we got to the garage and my jaw dropped to the floor.
‘What the hell are they going to use all these cars for?’ I thought weirdo staring at the expensing and luxurious cars parked while some were covered with sac clothes.
“This way Miss,” the man said as we got to a new branded Toyota Camry car.
He pressed a button in his hand and the car beeped lightly, I opened the back door and sat inside while he got into the front seat and started the car.
He pulled out of the park and began driving towards the gate, I stared at the lovely trees and neatly trimmed grasses as we made our way to the gate.
This place is so big, there were still lands where houses have not been built on.
We finally got to the gate within 5 minutes, well let’s say I was kind of lazy to walk to
the gate.
“Miss, where are you going how about I take you there,” He suggested and I thought that was a good idea but I didn’t want to put his job at stake, Lucas might get angry if he knew I went out without his consent.
“No, Thank you!” I said and opened the door and got down.
The security man waved at me with a smile as he opened a little gate for me to pass.
“Phew!” I breathed out when I realized I was out.
A cab was coming towards me and I waved my hands at him when the cab slowed down in my direction.
“Where to Miss?” He asked and I handed him the address that I’ve written on a paper.
He nodded and gazed at me, “$40,” He charged and I was wondering if that wasn’t too much.
I opened the door and got in as he began driving, but I was smart to check the street name and number of Lucas’s home so I won’t miss my way back.
