Book:His Burning Obsession Published:2024-8-27

Today was just so boring and arid. Lucas had left for school, warning the servants and guards that they make sure I didn’t go anywhere and most especially I mustn’t be hurt.
It was afternoon and I just finished having a little chit-chat talk with Veera who came to tidy up Lucas’s room after I was done with my therapy session, I laid my back on Lucas’s bed spreading my arms and legs wide as I stared at the ceiling while I grasp the pillow in my hands and brought it closer to my nose as I inhaled his sharp scent.
‘I can’t believe I’m missing him already…’ I thought with a sigh as I dropped the pillow on the bed and focused my gaze on the ceiling.
I wanted to leave this fucking room, or do something… Me just sitting like this won’t help my situation at all.
Closing my legs together, I sat up on the bed and looked around his room, I gazed at the brown shelf resting at the corner of his room where some books were neatly packed.
I stood up and walked over to the shelter as my fingers trailed the edges of the shelf, I glanced at the cover of the books and I was a bit surprised that Lucas would involve himself in statistics, economics, and managerial textbooks.
‘What does he wants to use them for?’ I thought gazing at the textbook as my eyes caught a particular book.
I raised my hand lightly and trailed it on the Navy bluish-hard cover, I pulled it out from where it was arranged, and being the curious cat, I flipped open the cover and gasped.
”It’s a picture Album!” I muttered lowly to myself as I gaze at little Lucas when he was a baby.
“Cute!” I giggled lightly staring at his pouty mouth when he was crawling.
He had the cutest smile ever as a baby, then I flipped open the page and saw a young lady holding his little wrist while he tried to stay on his toes.
She had the same dark brown hair like his.
“That must me be his mother,” I falter out as I stared at her irritated, she was young and beautiful while the bitchy side of her was evident in her hazel eyes as she posed for the picture but I wonder which mother in her right sense would ditch her child because of a man.
I flipped to the next page and laughed slightly seeing a two or three-year-old Lucas wearing a gown with a birthday cone on his head.
I wished there were baby clips of him, that would be more fun.
His little face was radiant with mirth and happiness, he looked so innocent then but he wasn’t that same little boy again.
I smiled lightly and flipped the next page, then I saw a look-alike version of Lucas who had silk black hair with green eyes just like Lucas’s who wore a suit that fit his body perfectly.
‘That must be his dad!” My mind said while I nodded and flipped the next page, then a picture dropped on the floor as I bent carefully not to hurt my stomach and picked it up.
I turned the picture in between my fingers and my gaze widened staring at the picture in between my fingers and squinted my eyes at the little girl dressed in jeans shorts and a pinkish blouse with Converse.
She looked so happy and free and full of life…
‘This must be her… This must be the Lola, Lucas was talking about,’ I thought seeing the striking resemblance in the face between us.
We sure do look familiar…
“What are you doing?” A voice startled me behind as the album fell off my hands with the picture too.
I stooped low immediately as I picked the album frightened and the picture from the floor with shaky hands before I straightened up as the familiar cologne hit through my nostrils.
I gulped in some air before I turned around to meet with Lucas’s metallic gaze.
I tried to open my mouth to say something but the words just preferred to hide deep down my throat.
“Hi!” I sputtered out gazing at his green eyes while I noticed the side of his jaw clenching.
“What’s that in your hands?” He growled lowly as his eyes trailed down to the picture and album in my hands.
“A picture al-album,” I stuttered out as he snatched the picture of Lola in my hands and stared at the picture for a while before he looked at me with furies invading his eyes.
‘Oh no!’ I thought nervously as I felt my heart pondering wildly against my chest.
“I’m sorry, I di-didn’t mean to invade your things, I was just bored and thought of reading a book when I came across this,” I explained pointing the picture album at him nervously as I moved back slightly away from him.
He was making me get scared with his terrifying looks.
“I didn’t mea–”
He covered the distance between us as he wrapped his arms around my waist drawing me closer to him as he smashed his lips on mine making me swallow whatever word I was about to say.
His tongue ravaged my lips as he licked and forced his way into my mouth while I felt my legs starting to become feeble.
I clung to his shirt for support as my knees gave out while I tried to struggle to breathe in the air because he was obviously Leaving me without one.
A shuddering moan escaped my lips as he took one of my arms and wrapped it around his neck.
His tongue was demanding and a bit rough, he pressed his hands on my lower back, pressing my body closer to his.
“Lucas!” I gasped between his lips as blood rushed through my temples while my body was humming desires for something more.
He nibbled on my lower lips, his kiss was getting intensified by every second as the album dropped off my hand to the floor making a thumping sound on the floor while I quickly cupped Lucas’s face with both hands.
His tongue grazed over my upper teeth while my hands shakily left the side of his face and wrapped them around the nape of his neck.
“Lucas!” I moaned out as he broke the kiss making me gasp in for air, I tried as much as possible to suck in the right amount of air I needed as my gaze slowly went to his face while he squatted taking the picture album from the floor and stood up cautiously gazing at the album in both his hands before he sighed and placed back the piece of Lola’s picture and kept it back in the shelf.
“I’m so sorry Lucas, I didn’t mean to trespass on your things,” I said grabbing his wrist when he was about to walk away.
“I’m sorry!” I pleaded as his facial expression became soft and calm.
“It’s okay, little sparrow,” He smiled warmly as he snaked his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him while I placed my hands on his rock-hard chest and nervously looked up at him.
“I’m not angry with you, not anymore, I’ve made a promise to myself never to hurt you again,” He said placing his large palm on my cheeks as he caressed them gently while he tugged some loose strands of hair behind my ear.
“Just that you freshened some memories I didn’t want to remember for a while with this picture,” He sighed making me mumble a sorry before his hands dropped from my face, he moved back while he started unbuttoning his shirt.
My cheeks flamed watching him work his fingers on the buttons of his shirt.
“Uhm! I think I should leave you alone!” I notified trying to make my way to the door walking past him but he grabbed my arm and yanked me to himself gently, a low yelp escaped from my mouth when my face hit his chest.
I looked up at him biting my lower lips as I focus on his green eyes.
I raised my two hands slowly to his third button as I undid them, my inner thigh was arching tremendously as his intense gaze made me wet immediately.
I lowered my gaze from his and did his remaining buttons and helped remove his shirt as his muscles and biceps got me speechless.
It seems he was getting muscular each passing day.
“Would you like to bathe with me?” He asked a light cocky smirk visible on his face.
My face reddened the more at his questions as I felt blood rush to my earlobe.
“No!!” I declined nervously stepping away from him.
“You better get used to it cause soon we’ll be bathing morning and night together,” He chuckled lightly taking steps closer to me as his thumbs brushed my lower lips, grazing lightly on the soft flesh of my lips sending waves of sparks through my entire body.
He moved after getting the satisfaction of the effect he had on me and disappeared through the glass door.
‘God! He’s sure something else,’ I thought as I made my way out of his room.

It was night and Lucas wrapped his arms around my waist securely spooning me to himself after he had taught me some lessons treated in school and after we’ve had dinner.
I must say he was very good with the explained the topics flawlessly.
Wrapped in his arms with my head on his chest, I turned a bit so I could face the ceiling.
I couldn’t sleep as I thought about how my life used to be and how everything changed in a twinkle of an eye.
My once happy family is all gone and my once crazy bully turning into the sweetest boy I’ve ever known.
I tried not to think too much about what I’ve passed through even though I couldn’t help it and my therapist had warned me to try to keep my mind off that for now, since I’m still trying to recover from my depression.
I turned to the side swiftly now facing Lucas who was deep in his sleep.
He looked so gentle and pristine, I nuzzled closer to him as a smile crept on my face gazing at his calm face.
I pulled out my arm strangled by his arm as I brought my hands closer to his face when I noticed he began to frown, his face turning to sadness.
‘What’s wrong with him?’ I thought as I gasped lightly when he tightened his arm around my waist.
He muttered some incoherent words that I couldn’t emphasize on.
“Pl-please don’t leave me! Do-don’t leave me!” He muttered out in a strained voice laced with sorrow.
“Lucas!” I called out softly.
“Please! I’ll do anything for you, please just don’t leave,” He begged desperately as his arm tightened around my waist the more making me gasp out.
“Lucas!” I called shaking his shoulder.
‘He’s having nightmares,’ I could feel his heartbeat race faster than it should.
“Lucas, wake up!” I said shaking his shoulder a bit rougher as his eyes flung open while he unwrapped his arm around my waist immediately and sat on the bed breathing haggardly.
“It’s a nightmare!” He breathed out while I moved closer to him and wrapped my hands around his waist.
“Shhh! I know,” I whispered as I lifted my right hand around the back of his neck and press them forward so he could rest his head on my shoulder.
“Please don’t leave me, Camilla,” He muttered as my heart sped with his words.
“You won’t, right?” He asked nervously as he drew away from me panting, gazing intimately into my eyes.
I nodded moving closer to him making our faces inches apart, as we stared into each other’s orbs.
I placed my palms slowly on his chest and leaned closer to him as I pressed my lips on him, he parted his lips for me while my tongue slide into his and fondled his perfectly.
I kissed him slow and nicely as I felt his breathing calm down as he moved his lips accurately with mine before I drew away.
“I won’t!” I muttered out trying to catch my breath staring into his eyes as his face calmed down trustingly.
Seeing him this vulnerable made me jump to the conclusion of being with him.
“Do you want me to give you some of my antidepressants?” I asked even though he was still trying to fight that everything will be okay.
“No! I just want you by my side!” He breathed out as he wrapped his arms around and my waist while we gently laid on the bed together.
He snuggled closer to me that his head was resting on my boobs.
“It seems much better here,” He cooed as he nuzzled closer to me while I giggled lightly and raked my fingers through his silky locks.
