MAVERICK

“Oh, my God. Are we trespassing? Whose house is this?” I pulled him on the back of his shirt as he tried to climb off the wall.
I mean, we could just go by the gate, talk to the guard or something. It was just a few yards away. Yet here we were, doing something illegal that could get us arrested.
My heart began pumping hard as I watched the street so people and cars could pass by like some delinquent kids.
“I just want to test the theory,” he said casually as he made it to the top, and then the alarm just went off. “Fuck.” He laughed like a lunatic.
When he told me earlier we were going for a ride, I was excited because I couldn’t remember we’d done that before. Right now, I might have just regretted coming with him.
“Just jump, Lake. What the hell are you doing?” I groaned in a whisper but was already gritting my teeth in annoyance.
“Why are you whispering?” he asked me, laughing.
A few moments later, he was still sitting on top, and a guard and an old man just saw me, and just like that, we were really in deep, deep trouble.
I didn’t know what to say if they called the cops, the owner, or the security agency.
“Hey. What are you doing?” the security guard asked, and he seemed not to see Lake just yet.
I raised my hands. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing, maybe surrendering or something. “Um. We’re just-”
The old man stopped and looked at Lake. “Mr. Winston?”
“Hi, George.” He waved his hand at the old man before he jumped. The wall wasn’t that high, but I had a feeling it had a trigger, so it alarmed him as soon as he reached the top.
Wait. He knew them. Why in the hell didn’t we just go the gate?
I put my hands down, still confused.
“Mr. Winston, I’m sorry, sir. I did not see you up there,” the security guard quickly apologized.
“Well, it almost took one minute before you arrived, but the alarm went off. I guess the program works well.”
I was still speechless when Lake put his arm around my waist. “This is my wife, Maverick.”
“Hello, ma’am,” the old man and the security guard said in unison.
“Hi. Sorry for the trouble.”
“Oh, no problem, ma’am. Mr. Winston barely comes to his house.”
“Your house?” I turned to him, my eyes widening. “Then why did you do what you did?”
“I told you.” He smiled.
“Is that your car over there?” George asked, tipping his head. “Beautiful.”
“Yeah.” He threw the key at George. “Just park at the entrance. Homer and OB will be here shortly.”
“All right, sir.”
“Let’s go inside.”
The security guard opened the gate. Once we were inside, I was awed at how big the house was. The lawn was spectacular. Moses’s and his mother’s residences were bigger, but this three-story house was also huge and modern, expanding wide at the center of the property.
He went to unlock the door while I was still appreciating his massive lawn and the architectural design.
“Baby, come on in. Welcome to our home.”
My heart skipped a beat by how he said our and home in one sentence. I tried to contain my excitement and joy as I walked towards the massive entrance.
“Why didn’t you tell me we’re coming to your house?”
“I don’t know. I haven’t been here in months. This is maybe a home, but I felt lonely when I came over. When I was exhausted from work, and my father put a lot of pressure on some projects, I came here to escape. What I love about this house is the patio deck. Let’s go up and show you.”
I grabbed the hand he offered as we headed inside the house. After the entrance was a massive high-ceiling living room with elegant furniture and a white sofa. The glass wall allowed the natural lighting to come inside.
At the corner was a white grand piano. “You should play, babe.”
“Do you play?” he asked, his gaze on the piano.
“Nope. I don’t play any instruments.”
“Mom put me up on a piano lesson when I was four. Dad didn’t like the idea. He said I should be playing sports.”
“Their ideas always are contrast.”
“Yeah.”
We went upstairs through the grand staircases.
“I put an elevator just behind the stairs.”
“In case you’re too lazy to walk?”
He laughed. “Maybe we can fuck in the elevator.”
I hit him in the arm playfully. “You’re so dirty.”
At the corner, there was a door. He pulled it open.
“Oh, my God.” My jaw dropped. When he said he loved the patio deck, I wasn’t expecting the view over the horizon to be spectacular with tall trees from a distance, like somewhere in a forest or a ranch. “Are those horses?”
There were horses that ran freely with long, shiny manes-two red and one midnight black.
“Yeah.”
“What are their names?”
“Tennessee, the black one. Dutch Warmblood. Alaska is Akhal-Teke, and Cascade, the long-haired Arabian horse.”
“They are beautiful.”
“But high maintenance than me.” He chuckled.
We sat on the couch, facing the beautiful view. I couldn’t help but sigh, grateful for how my contract marriage gave me peace of mind.
“You okay?” He looked at me.
I nodded, unable to form a word.
He put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. Then he planted a kiss on top of my head, and then we watched the view in silence.
“Can we stay until sunset?”
“We can stay as long as you want.”
Going to school, my job and his job wouldn’t be a hassle for an hour and a half, but he didn’t exactly say that we would be staying at his house from now on, so I didn’t want to assume or impose.
“I’ll show you the bedroom later, and then we can test the mattress’s durability.”
I felt an instant tingle of anticipation. “How do you suggest we test it? Jump on top?”
“I have a pretty good idea.” He lifted my chin with his fingers, leaned down, and sealed his lips with mine.
I kissed him back, my hands roaming over his chest. He deepened the kiss with a moaned hand on the back of my neck, the other on my breast, kneading it. I was wearing a V-neck dress, and he just slid his hand inside my bra, pinching my nipple between her fingers.
Then he broke the kiss, trailing kisses down my jaw, my neck, and over my chest, pulling the neckline of my dress to the side, exposing my bra.
“Babe?”
He only answered me with hmm, freeing my breast from my bra, capturing it with his hot mouth, and sucking my nipple like a hungry baby.
“Lake. Lake, stop.”
His mouth was gone, his gaze at me. “What’s wrong?”
“We’re outside.”
“In my house and my property. There’s no camera inside the house, but outside.”
“I just feel too exposed.”
He smiled and looked down at his bulge before he got up and scooped me without warning, making me yelp.
“What are you doing?” My arm went instantly around him.
“I didn’t carry you like this after we got married, and you deserve it.”
“I can walk.”
“Do you know where’s our bedroom?”
“No.”
“Then just be a bride for a minute until I throw you in bed.”
“Throw, huh?” I kissed his swollen lips.
“Yes. And once you’re in bed, you get rid of your clothes and spread your legs so I can eat my sweet pussy.”
My cheeks burned. “You have such a dirty mouth.”
“Yet you love it with it’s all over you.”
That shut me up because he was right.
