CAMILLA’s POV.

I Slammed the door making a light thud, clutching the straps of my bag tightly to my back.
I walked up through the stairs, today was just as bad as the former.
He had paid my fees, why does he have to?
I turned the knob of my door to the side and walked into the room as I dropped my bag on the bed.
A sigh escaped my lips as I walked over to the mirror, I drew my top to the side and stared at the hickey Lucas caused on my skin.
I brought my fingers up slowly tracing the mark which was turning red already.
I closed my eyes as his face invaded my thought.
I bit my lips, I’m falling for him, he’s making me fall for him.
But I can’t, I hate him and he hates me too, the feeling is mutual.
I needed to refresh my mind and what I needed was a cold bath.
I pulled my skirt down and pulled my top over my head, dropping everything on the floor, I removed the band on my hair and let my hair fall loose over my shoulders. My hair was Light brown with freckles of gold color.
It reached the middle of my back and I took time to stare at my figure in the mirror.
My breast was getting fuller, while my hips were wider as my butt became bigger as they stuck out.
I wondered if I was eating too much and need to go on a diet.
I sighed again walked into the bathroom grabbing my towel hanging on the bedpost.
I opened the shower and let the cold water seep deeply into my skin.
I closed my eyes as I rubbed soap all over my body.
Those green eyes came into view again, I bit my lips as I remembered how he rubbed himself between my laps, I could feel myself soaking wet for him then.
I wanted him so badly, my body ached and yearned for his touches each time I see him but I still hate him…
I scrubbed my hair letting the water beat my face.
After spending 30 minutes in the bathroom, I stepped out wrapping my towel securely around my body.
I grabbed my old turtle neck cotton top which was as big as a gown which stopped at my mid-thigh and wore a short beneath.
I sat on the bed crossing my legs as I pulled my bag closed to me.
I brought out my maths note and started with the homework, I was feeling uncomfortable with the way I was sitting and decided to stand up and sit on the plastic chair in my room.
I drew the chair closer to my bed and sat on it as I placed my book on the bed as a form of table and started doing my assignment.
I don’t know how long I’ve been solving the crazy questions under differentiation, variation, and integration before I dozed off.
3 hours later,
“Hmmm!” I yawned moving sideways on the bed before I remembered I was sitting on a chair a few hours ago as my eyes flung open.
I stood up looking around and noticed my book was on the table beside my bed and the chair was a position in front of it.
I stood up immediately and got out of my room and walked downstairs.
I heard some muffled coughs and wonder who it was.
I checked the sitting room and saw no one there and decided to go to the kitchen and saw mum holding a glass of water as she held her chest coughing lightly, from the way she stood, one would know she wasn’t fine.
‘What’s wrong with her?’ I asking myself.
“Mum!” I called behind as she turned around in a jiffy putting on a smile to mask her pains.
“Camilla! You’re awake,” She said dropping the cup on the counter as she walked over to me.
I stared into her blue eyes, I and Lillian had our eye color from mum, but mum own was deeper in color than ours, mine was light with silver lining wrapped around the main blue one, while Lillian’s eyes were shady blue.
“Mum, are you okay?” I asked taking my steps closer as she smiled at me.
“Of course, I am,” She said in a hushed tone.
“You slept off while studying, so I had to place you on the bed,” She said but I know she was trying to change the topic.
“I know mum,” I groaned almost rolling my eyes while she just smiled at me.
“You said you’re okay, then why have you been coughing lately, are you hiding something from us?” I said frustratedly, I couldn’t bear losing someone so dear to me especially my mum.
I noticed the way her countenance change saddened me a bit before she smiled again gazing at me while I stood expecting her to say something.
“Camilla, I’m fine, trust me when I say I’m fine… nothing is wrong with me,” She walking closer to me as she places both of her palms on my cheeks giving me an assured look while I nodded beaming at her.
She released my cheek and walked to the counter taking the glass cup as she drank more water.
“Uhm! Mum, there’s something I needed to tell you about,” I said playing with my fingers, I wanted to tell her about the excursion and let her know I’ve paid for it but I’m not telling her it was from a guy most especially Luca.
“Okay darling,” Mum said and I motioned for her to sit on the dining chair.
She did while I sat beside her.
“Mum, there’s something I need to tell you,” I said clearing my thought.
“Dear God, you’ve repeated that statement, Camilla, is there something wrong with you?” She asked worriedly while I shook my head making her furrow her brows at me.
“Our school organized an excursion for my class and said it’s compulsory,” I paused a bit to gaze at her staring at me anxiously.
“H-How much is the fee?” She asked.
“$2500,” I said and she coughed badly clutching her chest badly as I rushed to take more water for her to drink.
“Mum, what’s wrong?” I asked worriedly rubbing her back gently.
“Nothing dear, when is the deadline?” She asked making me smile sadly.
“Don’t worry about it mum,” I said as she gazed at me.
“What do you mean I shouldn’t worry? See, Camilla my happiness is your success and I will make sure to get the money for you immediately,” She said holding both of my hands between hers as a tear slide down my face.
“Someone paid for me already, actually we’re going the excursion by Saturday and we will be back before Friday,” I said as she stared at me confused.
“I don’t understand the part of saying someone paid your fees, $2500 is much, where did she get such an amount of money?” Mum asked worriedly.
“It’s okay mum, it’s Beatrice who settled my fees, she withdrew some of her savings and I told her I would pay back but she refused,” I lied, well that’s what was about to happen before Lucas decided to change it.
“Why didn’t you tell me this since?” Mum asked staring at me sadly.
“I didn’t want to bother you mum, I’ve already decided not to go, not in this condition of ours where we barely have enough but Beatrice surprised me and offered to help,” I said while she smiled wearily.
“It’s okay mum, everything is fine,” I assured her as I removed my hands away from hers and massaged her shoulders gently.
Her body relaxed a bit as she closed her eyes.
“Everything will be fine,” I muttered, massaging her shoulders passionately as she smiled.
