Adrian POV.
My baby is alive, she’s sleepy but she’s alive, I could take anything from her as long as she’s alive and breathing. We didn’t know what happened but it seem her dragon needed a bit of a push to come out and play, she almost died in the process but she’s here now, snoring on my bed.
“What happened?” Masha asks me, standing in my room, she looked scared, we all knew it was Chase who’s in the danger zone.
“Her dragon is strong, she almost died but she’s safe now” I explain to her.
“How… how did you manage to bring her back to life?” Masha asks, tears brimming her eyes now.
“She said she just didn’t want me to be sad, she came back for me” I explain to Masha, there’s no real science behind what happened, she just came back to life refusing to die.
“I… I’m just happy that she’s safe” Masha says tears going down her face, I pulled my friend close for a hug.
“It’s okay Masha, he’ll manage to survive” I promise her, Chase is a strong little, he got both Masha and River to help him.
“We still don’t know what kind of dragon he is, but he’ll survive yes?” She asks me again needing my reassurance.
“Of course he will Masha” I say hugging her one last time. It’s rare to see my friend showing this much emotions, she was raised and told to always keep her feelings for herself, not to show them, not to tell anyone it hurt, to bottle it all up.
“Group Hug!” I hear Kaddy yells before her smaller body joined us hugging both of us making Masha laugh.
“I always thought I want an older little but I guess I own a special little a thank you for changing my mind” Masha says holding pidge in her arms now, spinning her around making her giggles.
“I take cookies as payment” my cheeky baby answer her.
“You do now” Masha says ticking Kaiden making her giggle loudly.
“Hand her back, go love your own littles” I say faking my anger, hugging Kaiden, I can’t believe she’s alive, she’s in my arms.
“Get her ready, I’m buying us ice cream, is that good princess?” She asks Kaiden.
“Yes, Ice cream!” my baby answers, she’s going to have ice cream for breakfast of course that works for her.
I changed Kaiden back from her PJ to her school uniform, we’re almost ready to leave school, we just have to get her to learn how to fly, me and Masha would be graduating soon, as long as Chase shifts soon. I placed Kaiden on the bed while I got ready dressing in my jeans and shirt, I was about to get my glasses when I couldn’t find them next to my bed. I must have thrown then somewhere else, I strated to search through the room and my stuff but I couldn’t find it.
I was about to find my second glasses, the one I keep for emergency when I heard Kaddy giggle, I turned to her seeing her standing in front of the mirror giggling. I got closer to her seeing she had my glasses on, she’s looking at herself making funny faces.
“Kaiden” I say, she turns to me and takes off running, with my glasses on, she couldn’t see that well, it took her few steps before she fell.
“Kaiden” I say again picking her off the floor and into my arms, she turns to my chest crying.
“Did you hurt yourself pidge?” I ask checking her all over, she shakes her head no.
“No taking daddy’s glasses, how am I supposed to see you?” I say taking them off her face and back to mine.
“Daddy no see me” she says sniffling.
“No love I can’t see without them, what if I thought Rees was my baby?” I ask making her gasp.
“Nu! Me you baby not Rees” she tells me holding closer to me making me chuckle.
“Ready for your ice cream?” I ask her, at the mention of ice cream she forgot all her tears, nodding happily while I carried her out to meet with Masha and her two littles.
“Hi Kaddy” River meet us halfway there, we’re meeting in the park.
“Hiii!” She says to her friend before turning to me “down please” she demands, I set her down on her feet and watch her take off with her friend giggling.
“Where’s Chase” I ask Masha making it toward the ice cream stand.
“Playing hide and seek, you won’t believe how good he is” she says with a smile.
“You’re not worried about him getting lost?” I ask her back, although we’re on school ground, he could get lost.
“I have my trick” she says taking three cups of ice cream for her and her littles while I got mine and Kaiden’s.
“Baby, ice cream!” Masha yells, that was her trick, two littles run toward her making me laugh.
