Kaiden POV.
After meanie daddy left, daddy who didn’t let me have any candy, this morning was too long ago, all I had was a cupcake, that’s not much! After he left me with Rees, who’s the best! He plays with me all the games I wanna play, even if I wanted to play wrestling, and I always win!
“What’s the pout for?” he asks me after daddy have left, I was still mad for not getting any candy, all I want is candy!
“Me want candy,” I tell him with a big pout, he just looks at me with confusion.
“Then have some” he says like it’s nothing, he didn’t know daddy have said no to candy, I smile happily and run toward the cupboards, they have snacks for us kept around our room, I can’t have any without some dominant permission.
“Rees, come on” I say waiting for him, receiving a glare from one of the school staff, when he came he opened the cabinet and asked me what I want, there were cookies, gummies, some chips, but what had my eyes the thing daddy never allow to have.
“Gum, Rees” I say pointing at the gum, Rees didn’t mind handing me some, I stuffed my mouth with the gum, I didn’t know how to blow bubbles as the big kids do, but I loved the flavor. I sat back down with him and got busy playing with my dolls, Rees joined the playing, I was chewing my gum loudly until I heard daddy coming back, I closed my mouth.
“What’s she eating?” daddy asks Rees, I turn to him and shake my head no.
“She asked for some sweets, I gave her gum” Rees says the traitor, he told him our secret.
“Did you ask me first? I said no to her eating candy” daddy scolds Rees.
“Man, I… I’m sorry, she didn’t tell me you said no” Rees says, once daddy was done scolding Rees, he turned to me angry.
“Spit it out Kaiden” he orders opening his palm in front of my mouth, I shake my head no, I didn’t want to spit it out yet.
“Now Kaiden” he orders me again, I shake my head no, daddy get mad, really mad, he forced my mouth open holding my chin painfully with his hand sticking a finger inside my mouth taking my gum out with force.
I began to cry, he’s a big meanie, my tears got Levi and Anastasia’s attention, they both ran toward us, looking angrily at him for making me cry. But it wasn’t just me who wanted the gum, my dragon side wanted the gum too, I could feel the purple beast being so angry at daddy, she wanted to come out and teach him a lesson.
“Is that?” Levi asks.
“Daddy!” I say with a pout, but my voice wasn’t my usual one, it’s not my little voice, nor big girl voice, it was higher than usual but also had some undertone, it’s my dragon voice.
“Let him talk to her,” Anna says, yes let him come.
“Kaiden, come here angel” daddy says, but I pout, I’m still pouting, I’m not his angel.
“I want my gum!” I say stomping my foot down.
“I can’t give you gum, you’ll choke,” he says his voice is different now also, his eyes are completely red, his dragon was talking to mine, but my dragon wasn’t a happy dragon.
“I not little, I’m a big dragon” I tell him stomping my foot again.
“No” his dragon answer, I got so angry at him that my dragon just blew in his face, I didn’t know what my power is, but my dragon was so angry, it just blew, cold air left my mouth.
I got so worried about daddy that my dragon retracted, too worried we’ve hurt him, I started to cry again, my dragon never want to come out again, we’re evil. I felt strong hands pull me off the floor, my head was met with a strong chest, I kept crying there.
“It’s okay baby angel, you didn’t hurt daddy” the same rough voice says, daddy’s dragon voice.
“I did” I cry, my dragon still hiding and scared.
“No, we found out what my baby power is” he says, I didn’t know what my power is yet.
“Weally?” I ask sniffling.
“Yes, my baby can blow some ice” daddy says taking off his glasses, they had slight ice covering them.
“You not mad?” I ask still worried about him being angry at me.
“No, I’m really proud” daddy says kissing me all over making me smile, maybe my dragon isn’t evil after all.
