Logan POV.
Would I be able to get my baby back from Dylan’s arms, it’s very questionable, he loves littles, maybe he’d give her back once she gets cranky and he’s over playing the cool uncle role, I hoped that would come soon so we could get home, I requested an extra babysitter but none of them was available for the whole night, so instead I had to use volunteers, anyone who’d be able to stay over the night with us.
“I volunteer,” Wolf was my only volunteer, she said it like she was volunteering to go to war for me or to kill someone.
“Wolf, we’re supposed to be taking care of those little ones, not torturing them for information,” I warn her.
“They will tell me where they have the candy hidden,” Wolf says with an evil smile, I roll my eye at her but some help is better than nothing.
“I need a drive to Hunter’s work,” I ask her, she’s one that likes driving, and while I could drive, I don’t love doing it often.
“Sure, who are we going to report?” she asked me and I was starting to change my mind about having her along with me.
“We’re going to bring my baby from Dylan, are you two still fighting?” I ask her.
“We’re not fighting, he won’t allow me to use force or burn the world down to submission, stupid fossil,” Wolf groans.
“Thalia, didn’t we agree that you’re going to stop calling him fossil?” I remind her that he doesn’t like being called so and he gets very touchy when it comes to his age.
“You agreed,” she says and I groan.
“Then let’s go,” I say walking toward the parking lot to get in her car, she doesn’t drive a normal car of course, Thalia drives a giant jeep, with a wolf printed on the front of her car.
“Thalia, we’re going to a police station no need to be escorted over there,” I say as she’s driving like a maniac.
“They could try, I’d love to race them back to their place,” she says with another smile, I didn’t want to race them, I just needed to get my baby and for the next three days to pass quickly so we’d have Hunter back.
“Thalia, slow down,” I say between gritted teeth as she does a turn throwing me off my seat.
“Why? We’re vampires, we won’t die,” she answers me.
“What about your car, you love your car,” I try to talk her into going a little slow.
“I do love my car,” she says finally slowing down a bit, I could breathe again, I’m not going to die here and not tonight.
We made it over there finally with minimal casualties, we didn’t kill anyone yet which was great, she parked the car and I was very happy to get out of the moving death trap with her, I ran inside hoping that the police would help me out here, they’d keep her far away from me.
“Hello,” I say to the receptionist smiling at him, he’s one of Hunter’s friends, and they all knew me.
“Hunter isn’t here, but you know that already,” he says and I nod, of course, I knew where my husband is because he doesn’t go anywhere without telling me, they don’t have to know that.
“Of course, I’m here for Angel,” I say with a smile on my face.
“Angel?” the receptionist says confused.
“Our little, she’s with Dylan,” I say and he nods.
“Cut the bullshit we’re here to see the fossil, tell him I’m going up,” Wolf says with gritted teeth.
“Thalia,” both me and the receptionist yelled at her but she simply shrugged, she loves being an annoying bitch.
“What? Where the hell is he?” she asks.
“Do you want to end up in the cell again?” the receptionist asks her, it’s not and won’t be the last time for Thalia not with her running mouth.
“No cage can contain me,” she says with too much confidence but I knew she wouldn’t be too happy later tonight in the stinkiest cell they have or have made just for her.
“Dylan, my baby so we can get back home before you end up entertaining her for the night,” I beg the receptionist before we end up in deep trouble.
“He’s waiting for you,” he says and I nod dragging Thalia with me toward the elevator, maybe I’m better off leaving her down here and going up alone.
“I don’t want to,” I heard Angel’s voice through the door.
“You can’t survive on candy you need real food or else,” Dylan warns her, we both stay near the door just listening to them talking.
“Or else what? Or else this, or else that,” she says making fun of Dylan, a thing not the biggest vampires dared to do, except Thalia, she’d do that all the time without a second thought.
“Angel, I swear to god if you don’t stop bratting I’m taking you over my knee,” he threatened her, and I was very near to going in and saving her, but Thalia had a hand on my shoulder stopping me.
“You don’t scare me,” she challenged him again and I decided to go in, maybe it’s to save Dylan from her hands.
“Hello,” I say with a smile on my face pretending that I didn’t hear a word they said.
“Papaaaaaa…” she yells coming toward me and giving me a tight hug.
“Finally you’re here, what took you so long,” Dylan scolded me and I knew the cool uncle was done playing for the night.
“Sorry, Wolf was showing off her driving skills,” I say, along with other things that she’s showing off.
“What’s up fossil?” Thalia says looking at Dylan.
“What’s the bitch doing here?” Dylan asks.
“Ohh, I missed you too,” she says making fun of him.
“Get out,” Dylan growls at her.
“Nope, we’re here for the child, hai baby,” she says turning to Angel.
“Hello, Wolf,” Angel answers her with a bit of respect that she wasn’t showing Dylan right now.
“We’re ready to leave, thank you for babysitting,” I thank Dylan and drag the two bullies out of his face, back toward the car so we could get home and take over for Blair, she’s been with them the whole day.
“You’re welcome, don’t do it again,” Dylan growls, tomorrow after he forgets all of this, he’d be more than happy to babysit again.
We got in the car and started the drive home, it didn’t take long to leave from here, especially with Thalia’s driving, even with a little in the car, she didn’t slow down and instead of being afraid, the little Angel was clapping happily.
“Faster! Thalia! Go faster! Make him cry,” she says meaning me, who’s been screaming the whole drive.
“Angel, I’m your papa, who’s side are you on?” I ask her, and she simply shrugs, I got my answer here.
“I’m the cool aunt,” Thalia says with a smirk knowing she won.
Finally, the crazy driving ended and she parked the car, I got out feeling dizzy on my feet while Wolf jumped out ready to take over the world, hoping she was ready to deal with five littles, including the baby and the depressed little.
I got my Angel out of the car, she was giggling happily, this must have felt like a ride in the park for her, it’s similar to all the games she wanted to play in the carnival when we first got together when we told her we want her to be ours.
“That was fun,” she says as I helped her out but when her feet touched the ground, her face turned yellow and she vomited over my shoes, great.
“Are you okay baby?” I asked her, and she shook her head no, of course not after the crazy driving of Wolf.
“Come here,” I say picking her up in my arms and carrying her inside.
“Is she okay?” Thalia asks.
“This is why we don’t drive like crazy cool aunt,” I scold her.
“Sorry, I won’t do it again,” Thalia says not sounding very sorry, I got her to the house and took her straight to the bathroom to clean her up, she didn’t look good and she felt warm, too warm for my liking.
“Are you feeling okay baby?” I asked her and she shook her head no, I searched in the bathroom until I found a thermometer.
“Open,” I say trying to check if she got a fever or not, but she shook her head no.
“I just need to check,” I explained to her, she shook her head no again, tears starting to gather in her eyes, I touched the top of her forehead and felt how warm she was actually, she was boiling, I should get her some meds soon.
“How about a quick shower and then some soup and sleep?” I offer and she nods her head yes, I’m stuck with the sick baby.
“Wolf, can you take care of the rest?” I call out loud.
“Can I eat Katie?” Wolf calls back.
“No, don’t eat any of the girls, I need them all, I have counted them,” I answered her and I could hear the littles outside screaming and giggling happily.
“I want daddy,” Angel whines when I finally manage to get her under some running hot water.
“Daddy would be here soon,” I promised her, soon as in three days soon.
“No, feel good,” she says and tears started to fall down her face, while I tried to make it up for her, trying to calm her down.
