Hunter POV.
Maybe things are going well, after Evelyn’s talk she gave us a chance, she called me daddy, maybe just to tease me and piss me off but I’ll take anything she gives me, if she thinks that sassing is a way to get me mad, I look at it as a way to get us bonded.
And then we both teased Logan, he’s a mother hen of the family, not just along with me but around everyone, big and small, everyone gets babied around Logan, and he’s not shy to show it around everyone.
After I finished pushing her on the swing and pushing her some more, she really liked the swing, and seeing how excited and happy she was, and the way she tried to push herself, I agreed with Logan we should have gotten her the baby swing, safer, but it’s too late to change it now.
“How about you try the sandbox?” Logan offers, seeing how far I’m pushing her on the swing, but she’s enjoying herself and I’m not going to let her fall.
“Sandy,” she answered him, giving the sandbox a side look with a frown on her face, the swing it is.
“How about we drop the swing and get in the car? I’ll take you two on a drive, and we get to buy you some new clothes, and anything else you want,” I offer her, I wanted to take her shopping, we bought her stuff, but she needed to be able to pick her own as well, and she needs to be able to pick her own stuff.
“I don’t have money, they haven’t paid me yet,” she says turning to Logan with a glare, he’s her boss.
“Boss, when are you going to pay her?” I ask him with a chuckle, I knew the money she’ll be getting is meant to go to her own account, she can use it to buy herself anything she wants, but we’re also the ones in charge of her, we’ll be the ones buying her clothes, and making sure she’s well fed and has anything else her little heart crave.
“She gets to use the same payment method as me, your credit card,” Logan says with a big smile on his face, he loves using my credit card, although he has his own.
“I’m fine with that My Angel, you can use my credit card,” I assure her
“I don’t want to use your money,” she says with a big pout, she wanted to use her own money.
“Tell you what, think of it as an early payment, go wild,” I say to her, I can buy her anything that would make her happy and I’m not too worried about the price tag.
“But I’ll pay you back,” she says and I nod, sure she can pay me back with giggles and smiles, seeing her happy is priceless to me.
“Then let’s go,” Logan says happy about going shopping, we all got in my car and I drove us into town, the shops were open again but they were different, the same stores that had been hidden behind false names were now in public, Little supplies story, Milk&Honey a bdsm store, and a pet store, one for the human pets.
“What’s that store?” she asks pointing to the Milk&Honey one.
“That’s the last one you’d want to go into, how about that one?” Logan asks pointing to the little shop.
“I don’t need any little supplies,” she answers me and I don’t think she understood what the shop was.
“I’m sure you’ll find things you’ll like,” I assure her parking the car, we still need to get her a car seat and see what kind of little items she’d like.
“Fine,” she groans.
We got out of the car and into the shop, and my eyes were locked on her, she went from a big frown to a big gasp, I knew that she didn’t expect that, and she loved it, her eyes shifted, the look in her eyes shifted she went from being the angry big Angel that didn’t want to come into little Angel who’s enjoying being surrounded with little items.
“Do you need help? Or do you want to go crazy and meet up at the registry?” I asked her, I knew that Logan would refuse to let her walk alone or be out of his eyes.
“I want to go crazy,” she says, we’ll stay a couple of feet behind to make sure she doesn’t get hurt, we got her a cart and got ourselves one.
“We need the car seat,” I say going to pick one, she’s on the other side of the store but I can see her and so can Logan, I looked at the car seat taking into consideration her height and weight, and also her little age.
“Do you think she’d like pink or blue?” I ask Logan looking at the colours they offered.
“You want a hot pink car seat in your car?” Logan asks me and he’s right.
“Gray looks like a great colour to me,” I say going with a neutral colour, we can add small blankets, and she can wear any colour of the rainbow she wants, so it’ll be even.
“Where did she go,” Logan says going to follow her, I held his arms pulling him back.
“Give it a second,” I say she gets to have her time shopping without us, she gets her time to pick things.
“What if she gets hurt,” Logan says.
“This a little store, pick a couple of things for her,” I tell Logan, he whines and groans, maybe I should get him some little stuff for him as well, but he finally went toward the isles, picking some small stuff for her, while I went to look for Angel, keeping my distance of course.
“Hunter, Hunter,” Logan says coming running toward me, he’s not the one that I wanted to call me or come running toward me.
“What’s wrong?” I ask him.
“Emergency and I mean emergency, I need to go, can you deal with her? I’d get dinner on my way home,” Logan says looking nervous, we never cared about running to work in the middle of the night, but with her around, one of us gotta stay home at all time.
“Go, I got her,” I assure him as he leaves and I go back to searching for her, I found her soon standing in front of the blanket selection.
“Blankets are always the hardest to pick,” I say standing next to her.
“Do I want soft, or big enough to cover me and mommy logan,” she says she’s really thinking of this.
“Logan has his own blanket, you can pick soft or depending on colour,” I encourage her to think of herself and not me or Logan.
“I like the one on top,” she says pointing to the highest blanket, the one she couldn’t reach, I walked toward her, picked her up from the waist pulling her up so she could see and reach the upper blankets.
She touched a couple, checking them before finally picking one, she held it down and I looked around for her cart, it was full, she had toys, clothes, and now the blanket, between the stuff she had one pacifier hidden between the clothes, does she think that I won’t see it.
“You got a nice assortment in here,” I say looking at her pick.
“Thank you,” she says blushing.
“Are you ready to go pay or do you need to keep on looking?” I check with her.
“I’m ready to pay,” she agreed with me, I took her toward the register paid for both of our stuff and then got back toward the car, I had to set the car seat in and that was going to take a couple of minutes. I placed her stuff in the trunk, along with Logan’s choice and then I started to put the seat in its place, she kept an eye on me, she had a frown on her face.
“What’s that for?” she asks me with the same pout.
“Guess,” I say.
“For Mommy Logan?” she asks and I shrug, sure anything that would help her stay calm until I’m done.
“I’m not sitting in there,” she warns me.
“It’s not a bad seat,” I assure her.
“I’ll take the front seat, maybe the driver seat,” she says opening the car door and sitting in the driver seat, the keys were still in my hand so she’s good.
“Do you know how to drive?” I asked her after I was done.
“Daddy, you know I do,” she reminds me, but big her knows how to drive, little her might not know how to drive.
“How about we do this,” I say, opening the door pulling her out, sitting down placing her over my lap, I turned the car on and said in my firmest voice.
“You do not tell Logan about this, and I mean it, you do not tell him about this or we’d both be dead,” I warn her and she nods.
“If he finds out about this Angel, you’ll only be sitting in the back seat, in the car seat with him sitting next to you,” I warn her and I mean it, he would do it.
“Deal, I promise,” she assures me again that she can be trusted and that she won’t be telling him anything.
I turned the car on and drove out of the parking spot, I took a side turn instead of staying on the main road, I took my hands off and let her drive, she didn’t drive like a big person, she didn’t drive with any kind of conscious, she drove like a child, turning the steering wheel toward the maximum left, then the right, making the car go into zigzag motions, and making the car do some kind of circle motion.
“Faster daddy! faster,” she says, but I kept us at the low speed of ten kilometres per hour, too worried about crashing, I might survive the crash but I won’t survive Logan’s wrath.
“I’m going,” I assure her, going twelve kilometres per hour, we kept on driving and turning until I was too dizzy to keep on playing this game, I took charge with some help from her as I drove back home, praying to god that we’ll beat Logan home to avoid him seeing our driving and seating decisions.
