Ladugin stood like a mountain peak amid the crowd, his presence radiating an unmatched dominance.
His gaze was as sharp as swords, his aura daunting yet irresistible.
Shock colored the faces of Uriah and the others.
The overwhelming presence Ladugin exuded was something these tycoons could never match.
After all, he was a billionaire!
The helmsman of the Gulowski family, a distinguished guest of the Ostrad elite!
Who would dare to challenge his edge?
With a stern face, Ladugin walked forward, his eyes landing on Flynn.
He had disembarked from his private jet and had taken a car to the Cherry Blossom Inn, only to find the entrance crowded with a throng of people armed with various weapons.
Tabakov, enraged, sought out the hotel manager to inquire about the situation.
The manager, not daring to hide anything, recounted the events.
Ladugin and his party turned to head to the 16th floor.
No sooner had they exited the elevator than they witnessed Flynn violently beating Sordoff.
“Idiot, haven’t I told you that you’d eventually run into trouble over a woman?” Ladugin looked at Sordoff emotionlessly, his expression sour.
Sordoff, pale and soaked in cold sweat from pain, respectfully responded:
“Mr. Rainier is right, I won’t dare again.”
“But I just mentioned your name, yet this guy kept hitting me relentlessly.”
“He even boasted that even if I belonged to you, he would kill me, completely disregarding you.”
Sordoff glared at Flynn, fury blazing in his eyes, biting back.
Ladugin’s gaze fell on Flynn, his brow furrowed, his expression turning colder.
Rose quickly stepped forward:
“Mr. Rainier, I am the owner of the Sharp’s Group, Rose.”
After saying this, she turned and pointed at Flynn:
“He is…”
But Ladugin waved his hand dismissively, glanced at the battered Trusova, and said indifferently:
“I’ve already been briefed on what happened; there’s no need for you to explain again.”
“I have other matters in Ostrad and don’t want to waste time on this.”
“Since Sordoff has injured your people and you’ve retaliated by injuring him, let’s end it here.”
It was clear they didn’t respect him enough to spare his man.
Ladugin was displeased.
But this was Ostrad, and Sordoff was at fault first.
Before coming to Niarak, his father had instructed him to focus on investment.
Ladugin decided to let it go.
Sordoff was stunned, feeling indignant.
He had thought Ladugin would stand up for him and suppress the opposition.
But Ladugin chose not to pursue it!
Hearing this, the tycoons brought by Uriah breathed a sigh of relief.
They saw Ladugin as a reasonable man and were satisfied with the outcome.
Trusova had been avenged by Flynn, who had beaten Sordoff.
They weren’t pursuing it further, which was a face-saving resolution.
Rose paused, slightly startled.
Ladugin hadn’t taken sides.
But Trusova had her leg broken, her face swollen beyond recognition, and all toenails from her right foot removed, suffering such brutal treatment, she must be traumatized.
Shouldn’t Sordoff apologize and offer compensation?
“Mr. Rainier, my employee has suffered severe injuries, I think…”
Rose tried to advocate for Trusova, but Ladugin, losing patience, interrupted:
“Don’t tell me what you think, I decide if this matter ends, and it must end!”
He had flown for hours to Niarak, his body utterly exhausted, and with this incident, his mood was terrible.
He had wanted to end this quickly and rest, but this woman was relentless, pushing Ladugin’s patience to the brink.
The tycoons watching the scene shook their heads.
Rose was being unyielding despite being in the right.
“Don’t forget, you have the Sharp’s Group behind you, with tens of thousands of employees depending on you for their livelihood!”
“Do you really want to escalate things and provoke Ladugin?”
“If someone like him takes action, not even the gods can save the Sharp’s Group!”
“Indeed, Sordoff’s refusal to apologize or compensate Trusova is unfair.”
“But he has Ladugin as his backer!”
“Flynn is quite influential, acquainted with the Fletcher family.”
“But the Fletcher family is just an average noble house in Eahta.”
“How can they compare with the Ladugin family?”
“The Fletcher family, noble houses like them, many people know several!”
“My master has already spoken, do you still not plan to let go?” Tabakov saw Flynn still gripping Sordoff’s shoulder and scolded him coldly.
Flynn, unmoved, increased his grip, and with a “crack,” broke Sordoff’s right scapula.
“Aah-” Sordoff’s scream echoed.
Everyone was dumbfounded.
Is Flynn really going to confront Ladugin?
It’s over!
“I said, even if the Emperor himself came, he would have to die!” Flynn narrowed his eyes slightly and said coldly.
Who would have thought Smiley Bear’s son was so domineering, not even willing to listen to others’ explanations.
Does Smiley Bear no longer want to eat chicken legs?
Boom!
What the heck?
This is utterly unreasonable!
Rose demanding an apology from Sordoff was already too much.
He actually wants to kill Sordoff?
“You refuse to take my advice, insisting on comparing our status?” Ladugin, clenching his fist, stood erect, exuding an indescribable sense of oppression and terrifying power.
Flynn, without even looking up, said, “Even your father isn’t worthy to sit as my equal, do I need to compete with you?”
“What I want is justice. Sordoff bullied my people, he deserves to die.”
Tabakov instantly became furious, glaring at Flynn and said, “Bastard! You dare to disregard even Mr. Gulowski, then wait for Mr. Rainier’s wrath!”
During his speech, his gaze swept the room, and he suddenly exclaimed in shock and anger:
“Mr. Rainier, they’ve killed Kseniya! Sordoff’s six Grandmaster bodyguards are also dead!”
Upon hearing this, Ladugin’s expression became grave and serious: “Turns out he’s a thug, and not bad at martial arts!”
“Well, since you’re dissatisfied with my handling, I’ll call the Governor and ask how he wants to deal with this!”
His tone was stern and authoritative, his voice deep and imposing, like a towering pillar, irresistible.
“Good! With the Governor stepping in, let’s see if he dares to be rampant!” Sordoff immediately became excited.
Mr. Rainier is serious!
This was exactly the outcome he wanted.
As long as Ladugin decides to deal with Flynn, Flynn will have no good end!
Trusova quickly advised, “Mr. Clark, I accept this outcome, there’s no need for you to offend Mr. Rainier over this!”
She knew Flynn had connections with the Governor.
But she didn’t want Flynn to use up such a big favor for her.
Besides, Ladugin knew more than just the Governor; if the Governor couldn’t provide a satisfactory result, he would definitely find someone even more powerful.
Rose and Flynn would fall into endless trouble.
She was already very grateful to Flynn for ending things this way.
“Offend?” Flynn scoffed, looking at Ladugin:
“You seeking Rocco is useless, let me call your dad instead, and ask him how to handle this.”
Sordoff couldn’t help but sneer: “Calling Mr. Gulowski? What a joke.”
“With your looks, you think you’re fit to speak to him?”
“Just a wealthy leader from Niarak, really thinks he’s some big shot!”
“Flynn, right? Just wait! Once Mr. Rainier’s fury descends, you won’t last ten seconds!”
“What?!” Sordoff, upon hearing this, suddenly started, somewhat shocked: “You… you are Mr. Clark?”
Flynn tilted his head, frowning and asked: “Didn’t you just not want to know who I was?”
“Now you want to know?”
