“Yes, take it,” he growled, plunging his cock so deep into her. “Take all of it. Take it.”
He started thrusting, his breathing was becoming harder and harder by the minute. He howled like an animal on heat with each thrust.
Balls of excitement rolled inside her; she felt the onset of another orgasm. She yelled for him to go faster.
He complied, increasing his speed. Grant gripped her shoulders as he went with her over the edge and down into the valley, rumbling her name over and over with pure ecstasy.
It didn’t take him a long time to get hard again, and he laid on her again, inserting his member into her. They fucked slower and more passionately this time around until he released after her climax and collapsed on top of Tasha. He looked into her eyes with a satisfied grin and rolled off to his side.
“Mmmm, that was so beautiful… blissful, I must say,” he gathered her to his still shivering body and she laid her head on his chest. “I love you so much, Tasha.”
“I love you too, babe,” she purred, running her fingers through the hairs on his chest.
They fell into a brief lull, but she was still stroking his chest while he continued to stroke her hair.
“I wish it’s possible for you to come with me to Ashwood tomorrow,” he said later. “I was hoping we would stay the weekend together, but with you not being able to come, I think I will just come back after the burial on Friday.”
He was traveling the following afternoon on Thursday for his great aunt’s burial on Friday. Tasha’s schedule on Thursdays and Fridays was always heavy, so there was no way she could go.
“I will like that very much,” she smiled into his eyes. “If you can come back on Friday.”
“I will,” he assured her. “There’s nothing more to be doing after the burial.”
He cupped her ass. “When are you meeting with the wedding planner?”
“I want to wait until after Christmas when we would have met with Pastor Roberts before I make any appointment.”
“It’s okay,” he kissed her on the forehead. “If that’s how you want it.”
They continued to talk about their proposed April wedding date for a while. Then they went to clean up and returned to bed.
Grant slept off almost immediately, but Tasha didn’t. She picked up her iPad to read the rest of the novella she was reading at work.
*****”
When Juliet was packing her breakfast plates away a few hours later. Her phone rang. Looking at the screen, she saw it was her mother calling.
Her mother now calls her at least twice a day, unlike before she became pregnant when they only speak once in maybe two weeks.
Juliet picked the phone from the dining table and swiped her finger across the screen. “Good mummy,” she said.
“Good morning my daughter,” she heard her mother’s cheery voice from the other end. “How are you today? What about the headache?”
“I’m good,” she said to her mother. “I feel so good today, no headache at all.”
“That’s good,” her mother said. “I told you if you have enough rest, you will be okay. Today is Saturday,” she continued, “take time to rest very well and eat a lot of fruits.”
“Yes mummy,” Juliet said. “My fridge is so full of fruits, I went shopping on my way back from work yesterday.”
“That’s good. Make sure you rest,” the older woman repeated. “I will call you later in the evening.”
“Okay, ma,” Juliet replied and cut off the line. Her attention caught the sports program on the TV as she ended the call. She went to settle herself on the three-seater sofa to watch the basketball match. But she had not watched the match up to five minutes before she dozed off.
It was when her phone began to ring over three hours later that she opened her eyes.
She grabbed her phone off the coffee table and glanced at the screen. Seeing it was Kurt calling, she quickly sat up. With her heart pounding so furiously, she swiped her finger across the screen.
“He… hello,” she said.
“Hello, Juliet,” she heard his voice loud and clear.
“Hey,” she closed her eyes against the tide of emotions that washed over her on hearing his voice.
“How are you doing?”
“I’m fine and you?”
“I’m good.” Juliet heard his intake of breath. “Juliet, I’m sorry for being so hard on you. You hurt me so much and I was angry.”
He kept quiet, and when she said nothing and he continued.
“This is me saying I forgive you and I understand everything.”
“I’m sorry too,” Juliet said. “I should…”
“No, don’t say that.” He made a comforting noise. “You did what you thought was right.”
“Thank you for your understanding.”
“So how are you now?” He asked. “I hope you are good.”
“Yeah, yes,” she said in a rush. “I’m good.”
“What about antenatal?” he asked in a cool voice. “I hope you have started?”
“Yes I have,” she said. “I’m using The Light Hospital.”
“Okay, that’s excellent. I heard their services are top-notch.”
“Yes. They are.”
None of them spoke for several seconds.
“How…. about Mr. Craig.” He asked, his voice barely over a whisper. “Is he in the picture now?”
She told him she went to his office to tell him and he had only called her once after that.
“You have done the right thing.” He said.
“Yeah,” I guess so,” she stifled a yawn.
“Is that hunger, or do you want to sleep?” He asked, and she could hear his low laugh. It sent a familiar sizzling feeling down her spine, but she chided herself, knowing she should not encourage such feelings.
“Don’t mind me.” she stifled another yawn. “I just woke up. I slept for over three hours. I think it’s hunger. I eat every hour now.”
“In that case,” he said. “I think you should go and eat.”
“Thank you so much, Kurt. I appreciate this call.”
“It’s nothing. Just take care of yourself,” he said, and the line went off.
