“Ezra wants to meet you”, Aiden said, looking into max’s eyes to see any sign of discomfort.
“Your wolf?”. Max asked.
Aiden nodded without saying a word.
“But I’m not your real mate. Won’t he be angry to see someone else as his mate”.
Aiden gently cradled Max’s face in his hands, looking deep into his eyes. He leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to each of Max’s palms, holding his gaze the entire time.
“Max, I want you to know that my wolf and I love you so much. I know you might not believe me, but it’s true. I’ve never felt this way about anyone before, not even Adrian. When I’m with you, it’s like everything else fades away.
“Your scent,” Aiden murmured, leaning down to breathe in the scent of Max’s neck. “Your smile,” he continued, a soft smile spreading across his own face as he gazed at Max. “Your laugh,” he added, his voice growing more tender with each word. “Every part of you is amazing, Max. You drive me crazy.”
Max’s heart was racing, and he could feel himself growing more and more flustered with each word Aiden spoke. He could barely believe what he was hearing. He had never felt this way before, and he wasn’t sure what to do or say.
“Aiden..”
“Believe me, max , hurting you is like killing myself. I would never intentionally hurt you.”. Aiden said, his eyes glowing yellow.
Max stared at Aiden, his mouth agape and his heart hammering in his chest. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“Ezra,” he said slowly, his voice barely a whisper. “Let me see him.” He had to know the truth. He had to see Ezra for himself. He needed to know if he was really Aiden’s mate, or if it was all just a cruel joke.
Aiden hesitated, his eyes continuously glowing. Max held his breath, waiting for an answer. A moment passed, and Aiden opened his eyes. The colour was brighter than the first time.
“Hello Max”. Ezra spoke, a smile slowly finding its way up to his lips. He slowly observed Max’s reaction. His eyes roam around his body.
“Ezra!!”. Max called, just to confirm if it was really Aiden’s wolf.
“Yes baby”. Ezra responded, biting his lips, Max was one hell of sexiness. His scents alone were intoxicating.
Ezra watched as Max’s lips moved up and down, he could hardly understand or hear anything Max was saying. All he saw was Max moving his lips seductively.
Ezra groaned in frustration, crashing his lips against Max’s in a rough kiss. He hoisted Max up and pressed him against the wall, holding him there with his own body. Max’s legs wrapped around Ezra’s waist, his hands clutching at Ezra’s shoulders.
Ezra’s tongue swept into Max’s mouth, and Max’s heart skipped a beat. This was nothing like their first kiss – this was raw and demanding, full of pent-up desire and need. Max felt like he was drowning in Ezra’s kiss, and he loved every second of it.
They both fight for dominance against their lips, when Ezra saw Max wasn’t giving up easily, he snake his hands into his shirt. Squeezing his nipple seductively and Max gave up immediately.
“Uhmm”. Max moans.
Ezra could swear that was the sexiest sound he had ever heard.
Aiden’s voice sounded from the back of Ezra’s mind, a guttural groan of frustration.
“Ezra! You can’t do this!” he exclaimed.
Ezra growled in response.
He turned his attention back to Max, a sly smile playing on his lips, as he broke the kiss. Both panting heavily.
“Don’t worry, love,” he purred. “We’ll meet again.”
Then, with a final, lingering look, he disappears and Aiden was back.
“Max”. He called, his eyes were back to normal.
“Aiden?”.
“Yes it’s me. Sorry I had to stop Ezra, I’m afraid he’s too aggressive and might hurt you in the process”. Aiden said, smiling.
They were still in the same position, max against the wall. His lips were swollen from the kiss he shared with Ezra. Staring at it, Aiden couldn’t help but feel hard.
“Can we take things slowly?” Aiden asked, his voice soft and vulnerable. “I want to get to know you better. What you like, what you don’t. Can we go on dates? Can we take things at a pace that feels comfortable for both of us?” He gazed into Max’s eyes, his heart in his throat, terrified of what Max might say.
Max felt a rush of affection for Aiden, and he smiled. “Yes,” he said, his voice warm and sincere. “I’d like that very much.”
“But Aiden, Damien doesn’t…” Max stopped halfway, his heart pounding fast in his chest as he looked up at Aiden. He knew Aiden doesn’t like the mention of Damien’s name in their conversation but he can’t make any haste Decisions he will regret.
“He doesn’t know anything about us yet. And I’m sorry I can’t do anything that will cause problems between him and I again. Damien is like my elder brother. I can’t live happily without him”. Max explained, shaking his head.
“So what am I to you then?” Aiden demanded, his eyes boring into Max’s.
Max swallowed hard, his heart pounding in his chest. “You’re… you’re…
