Olivia woke In Morgan’s bed, she turned around to him lying beside her, his arms wrapped around her waist.
Even in his sleep, he looked vulnerably calm yet exuding the aura of nobility and danger. Olivia took in his features, a smile, which she didn’t notice, escaping her lips.
For some reasons, Olivia found herself to have pity on him. He had really been alone all his life, losing his mother, having an evil step brother, what about his step mother, who she hasn’t even seen?
This could be behind the reasons, Mr Gilbert made her promise him that she would always stay by his side. Olivia thought.
In another second thought, Olivia considered trusting Morgan and caring for him, she promised to try to be a family of his, afterall he saved her.
Just when she was thinking, her mind running wild with thoughts, she didn’t notice Morgan’s lashes were fluttering open, and were now looking at her.
“Are you just going to keep staring at me?” His low, and gruffy voice asked, startling her, as she nearly jumped out from the bed.
“Who said I was staring at you.” She quickly defended, as soon as she found her voice, twitching her lips to the other side.
Morgan chuckled, he threw her a glance and looked away. “I hope your drool won’t make my bed smelly.”
Olivia narrowed her eyes at him, suddenly becoming angry. “You…! Hell no, I’m out of here!” She spat, angrily shucking the quilt off her as she turned and left.
Morgan laughed behind her, getting up from the bed as well. Which is smelly? If only her scent could remain in the sheets, even after being Washed.
It was when Olivia entered her room that she noticed she was actually wearing Pajamas, they were big on her but made her look cute.
She smiled, but quickly remembered what he said. She frowned and went into the closet, to take it off and ended up sniffling his scent.
“Woah! Girl where have you been?” Sofia exclaimed, taking a good look at Olivia.
“Ohh sorry I didn’t let you know, I was sick for some while, but I’m fine now.” She smiled.
Sofia narrowed her eyes at her, as if trying to confirm the truth. Just then, her eyes went to her neck, she frowned, when she saw the red bite mark in her neck.
“Hickey?”
“Hold up, you slept with your boyfriend before coming to school?”
“No.” Olivia shook her head, suddenly becoming confused.
“Don’t lie to me, I promise I won’t tell anyone. You have a boyfriend?”
“No way, Sofia, what are you talking about?” Olivia chuckled.
“What’s this then?” Sofia said, pointing at her neck
“You Know I can’t see my neck.” Olivia said, trying to see her neck.
Sofia brought out her phone and snapped it, for her to see. Immediately, Olivia gasped, widening her eyes in shock.
Unknown to Olivia, her hand that was holding her phone had mistakenly dialed Morgan’s number, and could hear the conversation she was having with Sofia.
“How then did you get a hickey, if you do not have a boyfriend and didn’t do anything before coming to school.”
“No it’s not like that, I got bitten by my little brother, because I ate his cake.” Olivia lied.
“Aww, he is possessive of his things. I’m sure you did learn how not to take his stuff.” Sofia burst into laughter.
“Of course I did.” Olivia nodded
“How old is he? He is toxic and has violence in him.”
Morgan frowned, Did Olivia dare to call him a child and kept discussing him with her friend? Just wait!
“You can’t go into the class with this on your neck, everyone is really gonna call it a hickey, obviously gotten recently, it looks fresh.”
Olivia cursed Morgan eighteen times in her mind. She didn’t get to look at her mirror before going out, as she was still angry at what Morgan said. It was all his fault!
“What do I do now?” Olivia pouted, staring at Sofia.
“Thank your stars that I carry my makeup wherever I go. Come here, let’s apply something on it.”
Sofia fumbled with her bag before taking out a foundation and some concealer tube. She was quick to apply it on her neck, making the hickey not so obvious.
“You’re good. This is better.” Sofia pulled her away to examine what she did.
“Thank you.” Olivia smiled, pulling Sofia into a hug.
“You’re the best!”
“Jesus! Are they lesbian?”
