Xavier was still in a meeting, when he got a call from his mother.
“Son, where are you?”
“I’m in Seattle, I told you I’d be traveling right?” Morgan answered, making an apologetic sign at the men, who sat on the table with him.
He got up and went out a bit from the table to take his mom’s call.
“Aren’t you supposed to meet with Mr Marco?” Cecilia asked, her heart thumping, as her patience was already running out.
“Yes mom, but he sent two of his men to represent him, as he couldn’t come because of some health issues.”
“Well, that’s a lie son. Marco is in Manila, he hosted a fashion auction and exhibition with Morgan in Quezon City. My friends sent me the photos.”
“No way! This can’t be true. Mom, send the photos to me.” Xavier said, his breath getting heavy as his heart began to pound.
He turned around to sight Marco’s men, but they were gone.
What?
Xavier furrowed his brows, as he went closer, his eyes darting around the whole place, but he couldn’t find them.
He stopped a waiter, who was walking across him, “You did see two men, dressed in an ash suit? They are of the same height.” He asked, using his hands to show their heights.
“I’m sorry sir, but there’s so many customers with the same features you just described.” The waiter shook his head, and went off.
“Shit!!” Xavier cursed in frustrated anger, ruffling his head.
Just when he was about to call Franco, photos were sent to his phone, from his mother.
Xavier narrowed his eyes at the photos, his eyes studying each of them carefully. It was then, that it clicked his mind, that he had been tricked, scammed and duped.
Before he could call Franco again, he received a debit alert.
“Five hundred Million!!!”
Xavier screamed, not minding about his environment. No way was all these happening, no fucking way!
He closed his eyes, trying to convince himself that it was not real, but when he opened them, everything was the same, it was real.
Finally, he called Franco, “Get a ticket, we’re leaving tonight!!”
Xavier was so angry that he could die. He still couldn’t believe how Morgan found out about his plan with Marco. He had either been betrayed by one of his men, or Morgan had a spy on him.
He recalled his mother’s number, but her number wasn’t going through. After numerous trials, he gave up and decided on Josh, one of his friends.
It was the same thing, as Josh’s number wasn’t going through. Xavier went ahead to try Sean and Enrique’s number, but they all ended up not going through.
“Fuck!!!” He shrieked, slamming his fist against the wall.

“Why were you hiding in the restroom?” Morgan’s soft yet deep voice asked, as he stared at Olivia with a tender gaze.
Was he expecting her to tell him that she was angry because he bought a dress for Nessa?
No way was Olivia going to tell Morgan such a thing, instead she remained silent, not saying a word to him.
“You’re really not going to say anything?”
Olivia remained silent.
Morgan had no idea what to do with her. His gaze washed over her coiled up and petite figure once more, before he pulled away from her and got up to leave.
Morgan hadn’t even walked five steps, when Olivia’s soft and low voice stopped him.
“You’re going back to her, aren’t you?” she asked, forcing out a strange and emotionless smile.
“Who are you talking about?” Morgan frowned, as he turned to face her.
“You’re still going to deny it?”
Morgan remained silent, his darkened gaze staring intently at her, as he waited for her to blurt everything out.
But Olivia didn’t say a word after that, she looked away from him, her heart shattering into pieces. It was the second time he kept silent, when she tried to talk about Nessa.
“Who’s she and what did she tell you? Morgan finally broke the silence , as he was trying to analyze what exactly was going on, in Olivia’s head.
“She’s Nessa. The one you’re dating, isn’t she the same person you……bought that dress for.” Her voice fell off as a whisper on the last sentence, as she remembered Morgan going back to talk to Nessa, after he kept her in the car.
It was after some men took her away that Morgan returned to the car.
Morgan had never been so confused as was right then, he still couldn’t figure out who Olivia was referring to. He thought she liked the dress and was crying over it, so he bought it for her, but Nessa…. who exactly is Nessa?
He walked close to Olivia, closing the gap between them, as his gaze locked with hers. Olivia swallowed, her cheeks heating up as Morgan’s breath fanned against her face.
“Who’s Nessa?” He asked, still locking her with his.
“The same girl, who you want to talk to after keeping me in the car.” She mumbled.
“And you’re angry about it, that’s why you’re crying?” He half whispered, his hot breath fanning her.
Morgan’s body was so close to Olivia, as she felt her plumb chest rubbing against his hard chest. Her body was instantly heating up, even though she couldn’t fathom what she was feeling.
She shook her head, in disagreement with what Morgan asked. Deep down, she knew it was the truth, yet she couldn’t bring herself to agree to it.
Morgan let out a low chuckle, he was slowly starting to pick up the little pieces of what Olivia was saying. He knew she was lying, about saying she wasn’t angry.
“If you are not angry, you’re jealous then. You’re jealous of me talking to other women.” His said, this time a statement and not a question.
“I’m not jealous. Why should I be jealous? No I’m not, I shouldn’t be.” She babbled, shaking her head in denial.
“You are.” he whispered huskily into her ear.
Before Olivia could say a word, Morgan grabbed her face and kissed, he didn’t even give a chance to breathe, as he sucked on her lips.
“Hmm,” she moaned into his mouth.
