Book:The CEO'S Delicate Wife Published:2024-8-24

Ava couldn’t hold in her curiosity to see her anonymous online boyfriend. She had asked him to send his photo, and he promised to send it later in the day.
She had waited so eagerly and finally it was midday. It wasn’t long before a photo was sent to her phone by him.
Ava hurriedly tapped the photo to see his face, but was shocked when she saw him.
“Oh my God!” She gasped, widening her eyes as she stared at the photo ajar.
Can this be true? He’s lying, that photo is not his.
Series of questions were going through her head, as she stared at the photo. It took her minutes, before she finally typed.
Avaa: Is this really you? Oh my God! I can’t believe it.
Anonymous: I knew you weren’t going to believe it, that’s why I decided to not reveal it sooner.
Ava smiled, still not believing she had been chatting with the city’s heartthrob all these while.
But coming to think of it, how did the young master get her number? All he said about being in love with her, could it be true?
Ava: Was it after that incident at the mall, that you found out you liked me?
Anonymous: Exactly. I wasn’t sure at first, but my heart kept trailing back to you and I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I had to ask my assistant to find more about you.
Now Ava’s cheeks were all red, she couldn’t hold in her happiness anymore. She sank into her bed, playing with the pillows and sheets.
Ava: When are we going to see in person? I can’t hold in my excitement any longer.
Anonymous: You’re free tonight?
Ava: Yes, yes I’m free.
Anonymous: Alright then let’s meet tonight, I’d text you the location. But promise me you won’t tell anyone, I don’t want it to be public yet, they might harm you.
Ava: I promise not to tell anyone.
He sent her a hug and kissing emojis which melted her heart completely. At this point, she had already saved his number as ‘LOML’ with heart emojis’ and used his photos as her lock screen and home screen wallpaper.
Shortly after the chat ended, he sent her an address.
All Ava wanted to do was to run to her mom, spill everything to her. Go out with him and flaunt him all over the world, to let everyone know that she was dating the heir to Klein’s enterprise.
She was going to make Olivia jealous, and make her payback for every slap she took from her. She’d make her life so miserable that she’ll wish she never existed In it.
With these thoughts going through her mind, she couldn’t wait for tonight so she could meet him.
Ava was busy, checking out the best outfit she would wear, everything seemed to be trash for her. She kept on searching, in hopes of finding the best one.
She paused, and hurriedly ran to her phone when she heard the notification sound of an incoming message.
Her eyes were all smiles as she opened the message, thinking it was from her lover, but frowned immediately she saw it was from an unknown number.
The contours of her face darkened immediately, her hand slightly shivering as she stared at her phone.
She was still thinking about it, when another message popped into her phone from the same person.
Unknown: You’re going to do it right?
After thinking for a while, she slowly texted back, agreeing to whatever he had asked of her.
*****
Evaris Lounge,
Morgan was playing billiard with his friends, this time they weren’t in their usual room.
Vincent and Chandler kept whining to Morgan, not happy that he didn’t bring Olivia with him.
After a series of rounds, Vincent gave up playing the game with Morgan.
“Why did you stop?” Morgan asked, glancing at him.
“Why did I stop? Have I scored any points since we started playing? I’m done, I’m not playing again.” Vincent whined, going away from the billboard.
Chandler burst into laughter, seeing the slight anger etched on Vincent’s face.
“Dude, don’t tell me you’re going to cry” Chandler teased, unable to hold in his laughter.
“Fuck you Chandler” Vincent cursed. Raising another round of laughter from Chandler.
Morgan walked away from the board, and sank into one of the sofas. He took out his phone and glanced at his screen, seeing no message or call from Olivia, he frowned.
That girl was really not going to call him?
He slipped back his phone into his pocket.
Ava was dressed to the nines, of course she was going to meet the young master, she had to put in a lot of time dressing, so she could impress him.
Although she wasn’t as happy as she was initially. She had received a text from someone.
The person told her to get the young master to sleep with her. Then when he’s asleep, she should transfer all the files stored in his phone to her phone.
The person gave her a series of orders, threatening to let everyone know she was dating the young master, if she didn’t do what she was told.
Ava couldn’t risk her relationship with the young master, so she agreed to do whatever the person was asking of her.
She had used the address sent to her, to find the club. Now she was convinced that it was really the young master who was dating her. If not, how could an average person afford Evaris lounge, the most expensive and magnificent club in the city.
Ava got down from the cab, and went into the club, her eyes danced in excitement as it roamed around the entire building.
One need not be told that this club was meant for extremely rich socialites.
She was still walking through the crowd, when a message popped into her phone. She told her phone from her bag and glanced at the screen, it was a message from the young master.
Young master: Can you see me, cos I’m seeing you?
Ava raised her face, looking through the crowd but didn’t see a hint of his face, she texted back.
Ava: Nope. I don’t see you.
He sent her another message, and photo of where he was, with his friends.
After studying the picture for a while, she looked up again, searching through the crowd, when her eyes fell at a certain spot and saw him.
He was sitting on a sofa, with his face glued to his screen.
He was probably chatting her
Ava smiled, slipping back her phone into her bag, as she walked up to him, before she could get to him, she bumped into someone, a sharp and pungent smell hitting her nose.
“Sorry ma’am, I’m so sorry.” A soft female voice pleaded, bending to pick up her bag.
Ava looked up, to see it was a waitress. She wanted to lash at her so badly, but couldn’t do it, afraid that the young master would see her and might not like her harsh personality.
So, she smiled. “It’s fine dear.” She said, taking her bag from the girl.
Thank goodness, she wasn’t carrying a tray of food or drinks, if not, her dress was definitely going to be ruined.
As the girl left, her scent lingered in the air, making her feel nauseous and dizzy, the scent was too heavy.
She shook her head, trailing her gaze back to where Morgan was seated, he was still there, but this time, he was talking with Chandler while gulping down a glass of wine.
Ava made her way towards him, an obvious smile etched on her face.
Vincent seemed to notice Ava’s approaching figure. He glued his gaze on her, as she walked towards them.
“Morgan, you seem to have gotten another fan girl. She’s pretty bold.” He muttered, settling his glass on the table, as his gaze was still fixed on Ava.
Morgan, who seemed Oblivious to whatever Vincent was saying, didn’t even bother to look around.
Chandler turned around, his gaze falling on Ava, who was smiling sweetly.
“Young master, I’m here. I still can’t believe I’m meeting you in person.” Ava’s smile grew wider, as she lounged herself towards him.
What?
As fast as one could blink, Morgan was out of the sofa, making Ava fall into the sofa, without touching him.
Morgan’s face darkened, as his gaze washed all over Ava. She had a pungent scent, one he hated.
“Get lost!” He growled.
“Young master, you don’t recognize me? I’m Ava, you’ve been chatting with me for the past few days.” Ava stated, making her voice as coquettish as it can be.
Vincent and Chandler couldn’t hold in their laughter anymore, they burst into laughter, watching the play unfold.
“Hold on miss, who did you say had been chatting with you?” Chandler asked, staring at Ava.
“I…I..”
“Get Lost!”
