Chapter 101 Don’t You Want Coffee?

“Well, let me tell you what Cathy had done.” Aurelia felt amused when she thought about what happened yesterday. “Cathy asked her father for 10, 000 dollars to open a membership card, but her father transferred her 100, 000 dollars. She was afraid that her father would find out and asked her to give him back the money, so she immediately blacklisted her father. I guess she went out to have fun with the money last night.”
Liana laughed as she put on her clothes. “I think her father will come to school today.”
“I guess so. Last time, Mr. Mike said that Cathy’s living expenses are seriously over budget.”
Liana seemed to have thought of something, and suddenly looked straight at Aurelia. “Weren’t you in a bad mood last night? Why are you so happy now? Did you run into your Mr. Finnegan when you got home?”
When Aurelia went to the bar with Briar to sing last night, she was still unhappy. Now she was smiling and even humming a tune.
If Aurelia said she was so happy because of Cathy’s matter, Liana wouldn’t believe it!
“Oh! Yes!” Aurelia did not hide it. There were only two of them in the dormitory. The other three had already gone to class.
“What happened? Did you apologize or did Mr. Finnegan apologize?” Liana knew a little about their quarrel, so she was even more curious.
Aurelia snorted arrogantly, “Of course he took the initiative to apologize to me!”
Liana smiled secretly, “Aurelia, Mr. Finnegan can bow his head and apologize to someone as bad-tempered as you. It seems that he really loves you!”
“He made me unhappy.” It was all because of Laura.
Aurelia felt tired of being angry because of her.
“You’re just playing the victim. Alright, I’m going to go wash up first and we’ll talk about it later when we get to the classroom.”
“Okay, go ahead.”
At lunch in the cafeteria, Aurelia looked thoughtfully at the couple at the next table, who were making out with each other. She put down her cutlery, took out her phone and sent a text message to Callum. “Callum, I want some coffee.”
“Okay.” The reply was pretty quick, but after only one word, there was no more response.
Aurelia looked at his text message in a daze. That was all?
Twenty minutes later, she came out of the cafeteria and received a text message. “Go to Elliot’s office now.”
Aurelia was confused. “What?”
“You’ll know when you get there.”
Aurelia put her phone in her pocket and said, “Liana, I have something to do. You go find Larry first!”
After saying that, she trotted away.
Liana ate the sausage speechlessly. Her nerdy boyfriend was busy reviewing for exams recently and had no time to pay attention to her.
Arriving at Elliot’s office, Aurelia knocked on the door and heard a familiar male voice from inside. “Come in.”
This voice made Aurelia’s heart beat faster. Was Callum here?
When she opened the office door, she didn’t see Elliot, but instead saw a man who made her heart beat faster.
“Callum, why are you here?”
The man stood up from his seat, picked up the coffee next to him and handed it to her. “Don’t you want some coffee?”
Aurelia held the warm coffee, her eyes red with emotion. On such a cold day, he could have told her to drink whatever she wanted and she would go buy it herself, but he bought it and delivered it to her personally!
On the way here, she had thought about whether he would ask someone to buy coffee and bring it to her when he asked her to come here, but she didn’t expect him to bring it to her personally. “Callum, are you cold? You’ve come all the way here in person.”
Callum rubbed her head. “It’s not cold. Rory drove me here. Drink it while it’s warm.”
She carefully took the coffee from him, took a sip, and then shouted in surprise, “Callum, how do you know I like this coffee?”
This was the coffee she drank often and never got tired of.
Seeing her surprise, he was in a good mood and did not explain. “I’m glad you like it.”
“You should try it too.” She put the coffee to the man’s lips and looked at him expectantly.
Suddenly, she remembered that Callum was a germaphobe and would definitely not share a straw with her, so she took the coffee back and said, “Forget it. Next time, I’ll buy two cups to drink together.”
He was about to lower his head to drink the coffee when she took it away. “Why?”
She said nonchalantly, “You may not want to share the straw with me.”
Then he held her hand holding the coffee, and looked into her eyes. Under the woman’s puzzled look, Callum bit the straw she had used and took a sip of coffee.
After drinking it, he gave a serious review. “Except for being a little sweet, everything else is fine.”
Aurelia looked at him and couldn’t help asking, “Don’t you mind?” She had seen his cleanliness obsession countless times, especially when he was at home, his room and bathroom were super clean. She didn’t dare to go in, for fear of messing up that holy place.
He raised an eyebrow. “You’re my wife. Why should I mind?”
His answer made her grin foolishly. “Then drink another sip.”
As if to prove that he really didn’t mind, Callum not only took a sip of coffee, but also hugged the girl in his arms and kissed her deeply.
The aroma of coffee spread in both of their mouths, and Aurelia’s chest was filled with sweetness. It was nice when she and Callum didn’t quarrel or get angry.
It was snowing heavily outside, but the office was warm. The man sat on the sofa, holding the woman in his arms, watching her drink coffee sip by sip.
Aurelia suddenly said, “Callum, let me tell you a story!”
“Um.”
If he guessed correctly, Aurelia must be up to something bad again.
“Listen carefully. Once upon a time, there was a fool who liked to say no. No matter what others asked him, he would say no. Oh, by the way, have you heard this story?” She raised her head and looked at him seriously.
Callum curled his lips and said, “You told me this story before.”
“No, I’ve never…”
He chuckled, and Aurelia realized that she had been tricked.
Looking at the smiling man, she was dissatisfied and hit and twisted him. “Ah! Why are you so smart? And you are so annoying. You tricked me into calling myself a fool!”
He tightened his arms around her waist and smelled the fragrance of her hair. “Are you sure it was my fault?”
Aurelia snorted, knowing she was in the wrong and not dwelling on the issue.
She didn’t believe that she couldn’t trick Callum, so she racked her brains to think about the jokes she had heard before. After a while, she asked him again, “Let me ask you again, if there was a beautiful girl with a good figure sitting on your lap, would you be seduced?”
This time, he answered quickly, “No.” Aurelia was the only woman who could make his heart skip.
