“Do you really want to take me there?”
Yayoi did not believe that he would be so kind. She looked at him warily and asked, “Are there any conditions?”
Conditions? Was he such a person in her eyes?
Morphy was so angry that he could not help laughing. Hence, he said deliberately, “Yes, as long as you promise to be my girlfriend, I will take you there.”
Indeed!
How could he possibly be that kind?
Yayoi was annoyed. She snorted and said, “Dream on, you jerk!”
Then, she turned around and walked out.
Jerk?! Morphy frowned. since when had he become a jerk?
Seeing that she was about to leave, he quickly stood up and chased after her.
Just when Yayoi’s hand was about to pull the door open, a hand suddenly reached out from behind her and pressed down on her hand that was on the doorknob, stopping her movement.
An aggressive male aura came near her. She felt her back freeze and she did not dare to look back.
“Who did you call a jerk?”
His low voice carried a hint of anger.
She bit her lip and did not answer.
Her silence made him narrow his eyes, and a dangerous streak of light shot out from them. He suddenly grabbed her hand violently and pulled it hard.
Yayoi felt her world spin and before she knew it, he had pressed her against the door.
She was leaning tightly against the door. When she lifted her head, her eyes met a pair of dark eyes that were as unfathomably deep as a lake. Her heart was in pain as if someone was grasping onto it.
“Yayoi, let me ask you again. Who is the jerk?”
He stared into her eyes with his deep gaze.
She looked away to avoid his terrifying gaze.
She clenched her fists tightly and took a deep breath. Then, she replied in a cold voice, “The jerk I was referring to is you. You already have a fiancée, yet you still try to provoke me.”
At this point, anger was flaming from the bottom of her heart. He was the jerk; how could he still dare to question her like this?!
Hence, she started to struggle, attempting to break free from his shackles. However, who would have thought that he would come closer to her instead? His long legs pressed against her body. Both their bodies were pressed together tightly, leaving no gaps. Yayoi felt the oppression coming from him, and she struggled more fiercely. However, she was just a woman, how could she possibly challenge a man’s strength?
Morphy felt his body losing control. He took a deep breath, lowered his head, and spoke threatening words into her ear. “If you move some more, I’ll do you right here.”
His hot breath spilled over the skin on her neck. She shrank back, but she did not take his words seriously.
She knew that it was impossible for him to do anything to her without her consent. That was why she was so fearless.
Morphy flashed a grin, easing the tense atmosphere between them.
Seeing him smile, Yayoi could not help feeling annoyed. “Why are you smiling? What’s there to laugh about?”
“I’m smiling because you’re so cute.” Morphy continued to smile, and his eyes were brimming with mirth and radiance.
Yayoi blushed and reverted her glance back at him. She said with a snort, “Say that to your fiancée, not me.”
His sword-shaped brows jumped up and he pretended to be surprised. “Oh! You’re jealous!”
Jealous?! Yayoi snorted and said sarcastically, “Morphy, don’t flatter yourself. Who’s jealous?”
Morphy sniffed the air and then said with a smile, “What a strong sour smell! You’re still saying you’re not jealous?”
Yayoi rolled her eyes. “You can think whatever you want. I can’t be bothered to talk to you.”
Then she said, “Let go of my hand, I still have a pile of work to do.”
Her hands were still being pressed tightly against the door. She could not break free at all.
Morphy let go of her hand obediently. However, his body was still stuck to hers.
She placed her hand on his chest and tried very hard to push him away. However, he was too heavy and would not budge at all.
