“No need!” Aurelia would better not to provoke him for now.
Callum gave her another cold look before striding out of the bathroom.
The door was closed, and Aurelia breathed a sigh of relief. While taking a bath, she felt something was wrong. She should have been the one who was angry, but why was Callum mad at her instead?
After taking a happy bath, Aurelia yawned and applied the shower gel given by Callum. Hmm… It smelt so good that she almost couldn’t help but drink a mouthful of the shower gel!
After washing, her skin, which had become rough due to years of martial arts practice, became smoother after applying body lotion.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Aurelia couldn’t help but touch her smooth legs a few more times.
It seemed that she needed to take good care of her skin in the future. Otherwise, she would really age prematurely.
Aurelia put on her pajamas and walked out with wet long hair. She thought Callum would go to the study to work, but he had already lain down on the bed and was leaning against her bedside to answer the phone.
Callum hadn’t taken his eyes off her since she came out.
He watched her sit in front of the dressing table, apply some skin care products on her face, then go back to the bathroom with the hair dryer.
The sound of a hair dryer soon rang out in the bathroom. Callum quickly spoke to Jim, “Get Aurelia three cards for the spa on the fourth floor of Alkaid.”
Three? Jim understood immediately and replied, “Okay, Mr. Finnegan.”
“Also, build an independent lipstick research and development lab in the East District Manor, prepare all the materials, and let Aurelia kill time when she has nothing to do.”
“Register a brand name ‘Aurelia & Callum’, so that we can sell our products anytime in the future.”
“Doesn’t she like singing? Let’s build her a music studio and put a piano, guitar, and the most advanced music equipment in it.”
“Yes, Mr. Finnegan.” Jim didn’t expect that Callum would dote on Aurelia this much!
As for the martial arts that she also liked, there was no need for her to practice it anymore. She had him to protect her, and all she needed to do was to learn how to defend herself. She didn’t need to continue to suffer in practicing martial arts.
“There is one last thing. After you finish the work I instructed you to do, hand over the recent work to other people. You’re going abroad to look for something for me. I remember it appeared at an auction once before, a blue and white diamond.” Diamonds were pure and transparent like water, and the best ones were those with a light blue color. That diamond Callum was looking for just happened to have a hint of light blue.
If he remembered correctly, or guessed correctly, light blue should be one of Aurelia’s favorite colors.
“Yes, Mr. Finnegan!”
“Get it at all costs.”
When Aurelia came out of the bathroom, Callum had already hung up the phone. She stood by the bed and asked, “Callum, aren’t you going back to your room?”
Callum didn’t say anything, put the phone aside, and with the force of his long arms, he brought her into his arms.
Aurelia’s faint fragrance wafted into his nose, and it smelt so good.
He originally wanted to kiss her on the lips, but she dodged and the kiss landed on her cheek. He didn’t seem to care and said lightly, “I said we will sleep together in the future. Come up.”
“No! Callum, I’ve already agreed to come back. Don’t push your luck!”
“Since we’re back, it’s normal to sleep together.”
The next moment, before she could say anything, Callum had already lifted her onto the bed. Before she could resist, he held her tightly under him, turned off the light with one hand, and said, “Go to bed!”
“If you get out, I’ll go to sleep! Otherwise, neither of us will be able to sleep tonight!”
“Don’t you feel like sleeping? Fine!” In the darkness, he blocked her red lips and kissed her deeply.
Just when Aurelia thought Callum would take it further, he let go of her, breathing heavily and lying on his side. “Go to sleep.”
The next morning, Aurelia appeared drowsily at the dining table. Callum, who had already finished breakfast, glanced at her and said, “State the third condition.”
Hmm? The third condition? What was her third condition? “Oh! Why haven’t I seen Rory recently?” Thinking of Rory crying, Aurelia suddenly woke up.
Without her saying anything, Callum knew what she was thinking and what she wanted to do with just one sentence!
He stood up from his seat calmly. “He’s busy with work.”
Aurelia put down the cutlery in her hand, and hurriedly trotted over to take the suit jacket handed to him by Alfred, and put it on Callum in a flattering manner. “Let me dress you today. After all, as your wife, I have never dressed you before.”
“Aurelia, what are you up to?” The man looked dissatisfied.
“Allow me.” Halfway through helping him with his clothes, Aurelia remembered she was not in a forgiving mood, so she loosened the other half of his suit jacket. If Callum hadn’t put on one sleeve, the suit jacket would definitely have fallen to the ground.
The man glanced at her calmly, put on his suit jacket, and said nothing.
Aurelia returned to her normal expression and imitated his tone, “I haven’t completely forgiven you yet. If you want me to forgive you, don’t implicate Rory. After all, he is also a victim and was threatened by me!”
“Does it have anything to do with me?”
Aurelia was lost for words.
Fine! After all, I had something to ask of him. How abominable! “Can the punishment against him be revoked?”
The man asked back, “Can you not be angry?”
She answered reluctantly, “Yes.”
“Prove it with your actions.”
Aurelia jumped up, “Then I won’t forgive you!”
“Then Rory will continue to stay at the construction site carrying bricks,” the man said as he reached the door of the villa.
Her brain was working quickly. When the man had already changed his shoes, she hadn’t thought of a way to convince Callum, so she had to run over and hug his arm. “I’m not angry anymore… Ahem. Hubby, just let Rory come back!”
Alfred held back his smile and opened the door of the villa. Aurelia was becoming more and more adorable. She did a great job, knowing that Callum enjoyed her coquettishness.
“What did you call me?” Callum was always able to take control easily.
Aurelia glanced awkwardly at Alfred beside her. Alfred tactfully walked out of the villa first.
Only after making sure that Alfred couldn’t hear their conversation did Aurelia take Callum’s arm, lower her head and call softly, “Hubby…”
Hearing this, Callum was very satisfied, with a smile on his face. Then he pretended to be dissatisfied and said, “Is Rory so important to you? Can he make you give in so easily?”
