Date At The Villa

The mates walked through the front doors and entered a living room. It wasn’t large compared to the rooms she had been seeing in the castle, but it was a spacious living room. The sofas were pure white and had gold designs around the base and under it as the small legs which held it up. They were about four and were around the large glass table in the middle of the room.
A television sat by the wall facing the sofas. All around were heavy, golden curtains over the windows. They had white threads hanging from them in a manner that spelt royalty. Olive felt like she was in another luxurious city. She loved how the room looked. Cozy royalty.
How would it feel like raising kids here? Wayne would be watching the television with the kids all entwined around him while she would be setting the table for dinner. She blushed at the thought and pinned her lips together to refrain herself from grinning like a moron.
“I’m guessing you like this place. And you’re getting one of those girly fantasies already,” Wayne stated and her mouth fell. How did he know?
“I-I wasn’t,” she denied as she turned crimson.
“I can detect a lie, baby,” he said and rubbed his thumb against her smooth, reddish cheek. She gulped and looked at him.
“The place is beautiful,” she diverted the topic because she didn’t want him to ask what she was fantasizing about.
“You want to come here always?” he asked and she nodded as she looked at the flower vase sitting beside the television. It was a large ceramic vase. White with painted blue vines of flowers around it. It was also holding blue flowers.
“Then take the villa,” he said and her eyes shot back at him.
“I don’t understand.” She narrowed her eyes at him.
“Take the villa, Olive. It’s yours,” he repeated in a drawled up voice, as if he was getting bored.
“Here, sit down. I’ll get the maids to finally set the table,” he led her to the longest sofa and helped her sit in it.
“Be right back,” he whispered and kissed her on her cheek, rubbing his tongue deeply in a vertical line before leaving her. She felt tingles at that spot and had to cover it with her hand. She wowed at the living room. She loved it. She wanted it. And he gave it to her. She blushed at the thought that he gave her the entire villa. Was he that generous?
Soon after he went out of the room, she got up and walked to the hallway he had disappeared into. It was quite wide, and as she stood there she saw that it led to various other hallways and doors. She walked into it and saw a large dome with straight stairs behind it. That led upstairs. She wanted to explore it. It was now her villa, right?
She climbed the stairs and went upstairs. There was another living room there, though smaller than the one downstairs. It had a red carpet and black leather sofas. The curtains were lighter and black too. She walked to one and pushed it aside.
Olive gasped when she looked down. The view was magnificent. She could see trees all around and a little pool in the yard. The yard had a lawn, apple trees, a pergola, the pool alongside its benches and there was a grill standing in a cage at one side. She bit her lips. She so wanted to go down there. As she smiled at the blue water now sparkling with amber lights, she felt his breath behind her. She turned back immediately.
“How did you find me here?” she asked immediately.
“Your scent,” he said and she nodded and turned to look back at the view.
“This place is magnificent. How many villas are in this vicinity?” she asked while backing him. He put his hands in his pocket and watched the view with her.
“A few dignitaries across the pack have villas here. It’s a peaceful and secluded place. No one even knows I have a villa here because I own an entire community.”
“In Aspen City?”
“Yes. And a few other properties across Balendin too.”
“Oh.”
After a second of silence.
“Thanks for giving me this one,” she said shyly, not knowing if he actually meant what he said earlier. If he was just joking, then she would be really embarrassed and disappointed. However, he moved closer to her, leaned softly against her back, placed his palms on her sides lovingly then buried his nose in her neck. She took in a sharp breath when his own breath hit that pulsing point in her neck.
“You’ll be my Luna. Don’t you think you’re going to get so much more?” he whispered in a husky, sexy whisper. Olive curled her fist tightly. Not out of anger, but because she was getting a rush of emotions right then.
He was turning her on with that tone of his, and his body against hers too. Worse still, the words he said to her hit her hard. She was going to be the Luna of the whole Balendin Pack. That was equivalent to the First Lady of any state. Like the First Lady of California or New York. Jeez, how could she be so lucky.
She leaned into him and he inhaled her scent.
“Dinner’s ready,” he said into her neck. He kept inhaling her deeply and was himself reluctant to leave for any dinner. He loved her scent. He could get addicted to it like a drug addict.
“I’m hungry,” she said as she noticed he wasn’t ready to leave. He chuckled and lifted his head, turned her around and took her lips in his mouth. Slow, smooth and nibbling. He kissed her sweetly for the next two minutes.
“Come on. Let’s go,” he said and they walked back downstairs in silence, soothing silence.
They entered the living room and walked behind a set of curtains. They looked like the rest of the thick curtains but were actually very light and transparent from the other side. Behind them was the dining room with a rectangular glass table. There were six chairs around it. Two on either of the long sides, and one on the head and tail of the table.
Wayne drew a seat for her and she sat down gracefully. He sat opposite her and they began to eat in silence.
“I wanted to ask you something,” Wayne spoke up a few minutes later.
“What is it?” Olive asked as she watched him pouring wine into her glass.
“There’s a werewolf festival usually held in Seoul every year during the fall of the Cherry Blossom. And coincidentally, this year’s mating ritual is the same day as the festival. My council brought up the issue on which we should attend or cancel. What do you think?”
Olive pursed her lips and stared at the wine glass. He was asking her matters related to his official duty in the pack. Which meant he valued her opinion. So she had to give a reasonable answer.
