The moment the door was closed, Jackson’s desperate roar was cut off.
Taya was thrown onto the bed by Griffon, and his ma*sive body was pressed down against hers.
She’d thought he was deliberately provoking Jackson, but she didn’t expect him to be serious. He was going to sleep with her!
“I’ve slept with another man since you. Don’t you think I’m dirty now?”
“I don’t care. I’m going to erase every bit of any other man from your body.”
After saying this, Griffon’s deep eyes became more determined, as if he had made up his mind to fully possess her and mark her with his scent again.
It wasn’t until this moment that Taya realized Griffon was angry. He was so angry that he didn’t even care that she was dirty!
Part of her wanted to struggle because she thought he was only doing this to re-stake his claim of possession on her, to own her again and a*sert his dominance over her because his Alpha wolf couldn’t stand the thought of someone else having claimed what it considered his.
But the other part of her, the part that would always be helplessly in love with Griffon, forever tied to him…that part won out. She melted under him, grabbing at him and raking her nails over him.
His lovemaking was ruthless, pa*sionate-like the last time they’d been together before he broke things off with her.
It seemed that he was deliberately doing what he could to make her be more vocal, and as much as she tried to keep quiet, she couldn’t. It was too much. He did his best to punish her and vent his anger, unable to control his impa*sioned desire for her.
It was a longing that was his. As soon as he touched her, he lost control of his emotions.
“Taya, you’re destined to be mine…”
His eyes were full of possessiveness. It was the first time Taya had seen him like this.
She stared at the man who was kissing her deeply. For a moment, she was in a trance.
“Griffon, who am I to you?”
Was she a tool for sex, or did he leave some space in his heart, in his soul for her?
She felt that maybe she was not as simple as just a physiological need for him because these actions weren’t the actions of a man who was just sating a bodily need.
There was a glimmer of hope again.
Then Griffon grabbed her face, leaned close to her car, and growled, “Don’t dream I will love you!”
He didn’t love her, and he wouldn’t!
He had repeatedly lost control because of her, but he just couldn’t accept that she was with another man!
However, he didn’t even notice that when he was together with her, his heart was unprecedentedly calm and content…
Griffon’s words were like a heavy b low to Taya’s heart, extinguishing the last glimmer of hope.
She smiled and said, “I don’t love you either…”
Then his lovemaking became even fiercer, more possessing.
After it was over, Griffon pushed up from the bed and got up to go to the bathroom.
Taya lay there and looked in the direction of the door with despair…
This was Griffon’s bedroom, and the door was secured.
Without a remote control, it was impossible to open.
While they were having sex, the man outside the door had been pounding on it crazily.
Taya suddenly remembered that when Silas woke up five years ago and learned she had sold herself to save him, he pointed at her nose and scolded her.
He scolded her for being shameless and for having s ex with another man when he was on the verge of death.
She felt wronged then, but now she felt very guilty when she confirmed what he had said.
It wasn’t because of Jackson but because of Silas, who once held.
her in his heart and loved her….
Taya sighed deeply when she heard his heart-wrenching voice. She struggled to lift the quilt, put on her clothes, and walked to the door.
When she plucked up the courage to open the door, she saw Jackson’s red wolf eyes and bloodied hands.
You…”
Taya was speechless. She didn’t know how to explain any of this right now to Jackson.
She was wearing Griffon’s clothes, which were huge on her body.
Her lips were red and swollen, and seeing the love bites on her neck hurt Jackson.
His eyes were red, and his hands were trembling. He wanted to touch the places Griffon had touched, as if he could erase the evidence of what the other wolf had done, but Taya avoided his hand.
For Jackson, the action of Taya instinctively avoiding him was more hurtful than the sounds they made when they were locked inside Griffon’s bedroom.
He took a step back in disbelief and looked at the woman standing at the door.
Until this moment, Jackson realized that what five years apart meant was not amnesia but loss.
After his brother pretended to be him and tried to kill Taya, he completely lost her…even though his brother’s attempt hadn’t been successful.
Angry, burning tears welled up in his eyes, making it impossible for him to clearly see what Taya looked like.
He staggered forward with difficulty, raised his hand, and pulled her into his embrace.
He hugged her with all the strength he dared, as if he wanted to pull her into his bones and blood.
But he couldn’t feel any response from her.
In the past when he hugged her, she would smile and put her arms around his waist.
She would snuggle in his arms and acted like a spoiled child. “Silas, can you stop being so busy with work and spend more time with me?”
Taya had asked him to spend more time with her. But he had never had time to accompany her to give her a better future and life.
When he had time, she and he had missed each other because of a car accident…
This regret gripped his heart, suffocating him to the point of being unable to breathe. Even if he were to take in large mouthfuls of air, it would not be able to alleviate the pain in the slightest. His wolf clawed inside of him, desperate for things between him and Taya to go back to what they used to be.
When a drop of moisture fell on her collarbone, Taya was shocked. She wanted to raise her head, but his big palm grabbed her.
“No, don’t look at me…”
The Alpha would never allow someone to look upon his weak moment.
Taya stopped moving and allowed him to hug her, but her mind went blank.
Jackson was acting abnormally. It was as if he had changed into another person.
“I’m sorry.”
He buried his head in her neck and apologized in a low, gruff voice.
“I couldn’t accept that you were willing to sell yourself to save me. I was in an emotional blind rage. I had a car accident on the way home, and my head injury made me forget about you…
“I’m sorry, Taya. I just remembered. I’m so sorry…”
Hearing his sincere words, Taya couldn’t help but choose to believe him.
He had not lied to her. He had really lost his memory.
He said that he lost his memory on the way home, but when she went to Wolverly Capital to find him, he clearly hadn’t lost his memory.
Taya was perplexed and wanted to ask him what was going on. But he suddenly let go of her and took a photo from his pocket.
“This is my elder brother. Look, do I look like him?”
There were two people in the photo taking side by side.
The man on the left was in a black suit, while the man on the right was in a casual white suit.
They wore different clothes, but their appearances were the same, as if carved from the same mold.
Taya looked at Jackson in disbelief.
“What’s going on?”
