He walked over quickly with cold air all over his body and kicked the two burly men to the ground before they could react.
The same thing happened to the other one, who was kicked directly to the side of the shabby bed by Callum.
He bent down and hugged Aurelia on the ground into his arms, tidied up her messy bangs, and asked in a deep voice, “Are you alright?” Her face was a little scratched, and he didn’t dare to touch it, but just gently blew away the dust on it.
Aurelia shook her head blankly, and was so moved by him that her heart softened.
After making sure Aurelia was okay, Callum took her to a safe place. Then he went back and grabbed one of the men. With strong force, the man’s arm was buckled behind his back. With a wailing and a cracking sound, the man’s arm was dislocated directly.
Just one move, Callum dislocated the man’s arm.
Seeing Callum beat two burly men to death in the shortest time, Aurelia was full of admiration. When she was worried that they would be beaten to death, Callum finally stopped, and it was at this moment that she realized how amazing Callum’s fighting skills were.
Callum stretched his wrist, pulled Aurelia over and led her out of the lounge. Outside, the shop owner already knew that he had offended someone he shouldn’t have offended, and was kneeling on the ground trembling.
“What’s going on?” Callum asked Aurelia coldly. Only when Aurelia opened her mouth did he finally remember his initial intention of being here. He just came in and beat the two burly men half to death without saying a word. Could she understand that he had lost his mind for her?
Without having time to think about it, she pointed to the locket on the counter and said, “They forced me to buy that locket!”
The shop owner looked at the locket and said nothing.
Aurelia continued, “Twenty-eight thousand, but it’s not worth it! Of course I won’t buy it! Then they locked me up, and finally they wanted to swipe my card, no, swipe your card!”
Callum only took one look and knew that the locket was a cheap product! It at most was worth 100 dollars, but they dared to sell it for 28, 000 dollars! The shop owner meant to rip her off!
Letting go of Aurelia’s hand, he walked to the counter and kicked it, knocking it to the ground.
The glass cabinet was smashed, and the jewelry in the cabinet fell out and shattered into pieces.
Aurelia was shocked by his rudeness. She had never seen Callum like this before. What happened tonight really refreshed her understanding of Callum!
But it wasn’t over.
Callum turned around and told Jim, his tone merciless, “Smash the store!”
“Yes!” Jim gestured to the people behind him, and more than a dozen people immediately surrounded the store and started smashing it.
Despite the owner’s pleas and grief, Aurelia was taken out of the jewelry store by Callum.
Things were done inside the jewelry store with the door closed. Many people only heard some noise inside but didn’t know what was going on, so no one came to watch.
Callum held her hand and walked her down the alley without saying a word.
She thought that since Callum knew where she was just now, he must also know where she lived. Sure enough, the direction he took her was exactly the location of the small hotel where she lived.
“Callum,” she called to him.
The man didn’t say anything, didn’t turn around, and didn’t stop.
“Callum!”
Still no reply received.
“Mr. Finnegan.”
Callum still gave no reply.
After calling out to him several times but he ignored her, Aurelia trotted over and blocked his way.
He looked at her coldly and still said nothing.
She said politely, “Callum, thank you.”
Callum suddenly let go of her hand and took off his suit jacket, draping it over her dirty white clothes.
Without her knowing what was going on, he picked her up and carried her sideways, then continued walking forward.
Aurelia was taken aback by his actions.
“Callum…”
“Shut up!” He seemed really angry. He growled and she immediately behaved herself.
He found the hotel room Aurelia was staying in accurately. It was not bad. She also knew how to enjoy herself and booked herself a room facing the sea, no, the lake.
After entering the room, putting her down, and locking the door, the first thing he did was take off her clothes!
Aurelia was frightened and quickly grabbed his hand, asking in shock, “What… what are you doing?”
He replied harshly, “Punish you!”
After being confused for a moment and carefully thinking back on their conversation, she finally understood what he meant.
Her face immediately turned red. What a rascal! “No, Callum, I was wrong. I’m sorry. Okay?”
The man seemed not to hear her apology and continued to take off her coat. Aurelia was holding on tightly, so he lifted her shirt directly.
“Callum, this is not what a gentleman should do! Hey, you bastard, let me go! Otherwise, don’t blame me for being rude!”
The man calmly turned her around so that her back was facing him. After making sure that there were no obvious injuries, he put down her clothes and tidied them up for her.
She seemed to know what he was doing.
Seeing that he was about to take off her pants, she hurriedly said, “I’m not hurt.”
Callum breathed a sigh of relief and glanced at the blushing girl, saying “Aurelia, tell me. What am I supposed to do with you now?”
The moment Aurelia saw him, all her anger disappeared without a trace, and she willingly gave in to Callum. So, when she heard that Callum wanted to have a talk with her peacefully, she immediately held his hand and said softly, “I know I was wrong. Can you please stop being angry?”
A soft apology is her limit. She wouldn’t act cute again! Never!
The man did not respond to her apology, because he didn’t believe her!
Aurelia wailed silently. Thinking that he saved her, she raised her right hand and swore, “I really know I was wrong, and I’m very grateful to you. I swear I will be obedient when I go back!”
He suddenly pulled her into his arms, which made Aurelia’s heart skip a beat and made her nervous for no apparent reason.
Just when she was at a loss, the man’s low voice came into her ears. “Next time, don’t come out alone.”
She nodded randomly. Was he… worried about her?
Looking up, she mustered up the courage to ask, “Callum, why are you here?” At the same time, a little hope surged in her heart.
However, the man said calmly, “Just passing by.”
There was no way she would believe what he said. Thinking that he came here just for her, she happily stretched out her upper arms, climbed onto his neck, and stood on tiptoes to give him a kiss on the cheek.
Aurelia was grateful to Callum. He made her realize that when she encountered problems, she could not only rely on herself, but also on him.
