MAVERICK

I left my robe on the chair, unhooked my bra, and pulled down my panties on the floor while Lake’s stare seared me. He was naked in bed, his cock growing in his grip.
Lake was hard everywhere, with pure muscles and perfect limbs as I came on top of him. His big arms wrapped around me, and he rolled us over so he could be on top. I was pressed by a heavy mass, but not enough to crush me.
He dipped in, his lips finding mine, and kissed me softly, slowly at first, while his hand slid into my hair, stroking my scalp. The kiss was gentle as if we had the time in the world.
When a moan slipped past my throat, he felt my anticipation; he deepened the kiss and delved his tongue into my mouth, making it aggressive and demanding- how exactly did I want right now with the growing pain in my lower belly and the throbbing pulse between my thighs.
I grabbed his thick cock, stroked it slowly, and dampened its head with my wetness before I positioned it into my entrance. A groan of satisfaction rumbled in his chest.
Without breaking our kiss, he started to sink his cock into me, thick, hard, and warm. I shuddered at his first thrust, and it wasn’t even all in.
“Fuck, baby.” The way he said it felt like my pussy was the best he ever had.
He pushed his dick in and out, thrusting hard, hitting the bottom. I whined in both pain and pleasure at his intrusion. He did it again and again, stronger and faster each time. And it felt so good, and my moan was getting louder.
He was still kissing me with the same urgency as how he fucked me, my arms wrapped around him, my nails dug deep into his skin as he plunged into me, his dick so thick hitting me in the right place, making me delirious.
When the pleasure became too much, I broke the kiss, panting, and licked my lips as he rocked his hips. He knew I was closed, and his tug around my hair grew tighter, and his thrust became faster and harder.
“Come around me, baby.” He didn’t have to say a word, and I was writhing and clutching everything I could grasp.
“Yes, yes,” I said and moaned between pants until I screamed his name.
He pulled me closer to him, wrapping me in his arms. “Tell me about your photoshoot with Cooper.”
“It was fun, and he’s good at it. He also took a video. It was great, and he can have an addition to his portfolio. And you, how’s your day?”
“Boring. Linden’s man came to put extra security on my phone.”
“Why? Hacking problem?”
“Just an extra security.”
“I have a work at the Bazz later tomorrow. I might be late coming home.”
“It’s fine. Just don’t work hard. I know I can’t ask you to quit because somehow you enjoy working with your friends.”
“I’ll quit to find a day job once I finish college.”
He kissed my exposed shoulder. “That’s good. I can hire you.”
I turned to face him, looking at him in the eye. “I won’t work for my husband.”
He smiled. “Why is that?”
“I can’t be fucking my boss. That’s just inappropriate.”
He barked out laughing, so carefree, even if his father seemed to disown him for choosing to keep our marriage. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
I felt an instant tag to my heartstrings. “Did you talk to your father?”
“Why would I?” Pain crossed his eyes but gone in an instant.
“You wanted to help me fix my problem with Nana, and I want to help you fix your daddy issue.”
“Maverick, my father is a control freak and a bully. He doesn’t deserve a second chance, but he’ll get over it. I’m sure he’s happy golfing with friends and forget already about what happened.” He shrugged. “Your Nana, on the other hand, raised you and did everything for you to have a normal childhood. Those are two different scenarios, bad and good persons. And I couldn’t watch you again like that. It pained me, and it happened because I was involved. And as your husband, it’s my duty to comfort you, be by your side, and help you when you’re in trouble.”
“I’ll give her some time.”
“I was about to say that. If she wants a wedding, I will give it to her. We can have a big wedding, and invite our friends. I’ll make it possible. Just say it.”
“That’s ridiculous.” I kissed his lips. “Let’s get some sleep.”
“I want you again.”
I giggled as I elbowed him. “Shut up. Give me a break.”
“Didn’t I mention all night?”
“You have two hands. Make them useful. And I have a hand lotion in the drawer.”
Our bodies shook as he laughed silently.

“What did he see in you? You’re nothing special.” Leah Fox, the bitch whom Heath cheated on me, just came to the bar and ordered Cosmo from Genesis because I’d been trying to ignore her and also avoided any conversation with her. “You must be a witch.”
Customers were always right, but I felt it wouldn’t be longer if she kept insulting me.
“What do you want, Leah? You got Heath. I got my new man. It’s a win-win unless you’re unhappy with him anymore and want someone with a fatter bank account.”
“You mean like you? You’re nothing like me. I have millions of followers, and you?” She rolled her eyes with a disgusted look.
I shook my head in annoyance as I took an order from a lady in a black dress.
“Ma’am, you’re making her uncomfortable. I suggest you take your drink and let her do her work in peace.”
“And who are you?” She turned to Homer and inspected him from head to toe. Homer was a catch and always put on an expensive suit like Owen. “Woooo. Hi, I’m Leah, and you?” She offered her hand, but Homer just looked at her.
“Not interested. And I’m working.”
“Working? Here?”
“Working for the woman you just insulted.”
“You’re kidding.” She snorted and looked at Homer incredulously.
“Why would I?”
“She works here and doesn’t even have money to pay you.”
Homer let out a dry laugh, shaking his head.
“I don’t even believe in her crap that a billionaire like Lake Winston is married to her.”
“Well, lady, believe it or not, I don’t give a fuck.” Lake just heard her say that. He leaned over with a full-blown smile. “Hey, beautiful. Care to kiss me?”
I smiled back, leaning in to kiss him on the lips. “What are you doing here?”
“God, I’m gonna be sick.” Leah just slid off the stool and walked away.
“I missed my wife and will be bored waiting for you at home. I thought I came to poke men’s eyes gawking at my wife in that revealing top.
I looked at my black top body suit. “It’s not that slutty, is it?”
“You look hot, baby. That’s the problem.”
I placed a whisky on the rocks for him. “Let me take my bag, then we can go home.”
“All right.”
I left the counter and went inside.
Rocco came. “Your ex is waiting at the back. He said he wants to talk to you.”
“Well, I don’t. Not interested.”
“I told him your husband is here, but he said it won’t take a minute.”
“Fine.” I blew a breath before I went out the exit.
“There you are.” He seemed so grateful to see me. Heath was a son of a bitch, a cheater, and so proud of what he’d done to me. Now he wanted to see me? Unbelievable.
“What do you want, Heath? Does your girlfriend know you’re here talking to me?”
“I need your help.”
“Excuse me?” My brows arched. What did he just say?
“Can I borrow 10k? It’s kinda urgent.” He slipped his hands into his pockets.
“Ten thousand? Are you kidding me right now? Where do you think I can get that amount? Do you know how much I make every night? You’re ridiculous.”
He just shrugged like I owed him something. “Your ring, I’m sure it’s worth more than 10k.” Unbelievable. So shameless. How did I even date this guy?
“It’s my engagement ring. Why would I give it to you?”
“Your man is loaded. I’m sure he can give you that amount if you ask.” He shrugged again and looked so desperate.
“My husband, Heath, but why would I ask him that amount to give to my ex who cheated on me? So no. Get a proper job.” Dismissively, I ignored the same man pretending to be lighting smoke in the dark corner who had been watching me for days. I turned around and grabbed the door knob.
“You’ll regret this, Maverick.”
“You’re the one who will regret if you don’t leave me alone.”
