In the CEO’s office, the atmosphere was tense.
Rorey stared angrily at the man sitting in the CEO’s seat, his indifferent attitude angered her immensely.
“Mr. Shen, you should at least inform us about the canceling of her contract. The cancellation on your part will impact Rorey tremendously.”
Rorey’s manager was still struggling to get him to retract the cancellation of her contract.
Morphy opened his eyes gently and glanced indifferently at them, spitting out a few words, “And how does that concern me!?”
He couldn’t wait for Rorey to be chased out of the entertainment industry.
Even though his attitude was horrible, her manager was still extremely patient as he continued convincing him, “Mr. Shen, after all, Rorey’s fiancé is the shareholder of the company. Your cancellation of her contract will surely affect your relationship with him?”
“Relationship?!” Morphy snorted, “What relationship do I have with Yunis? Can Rorey do whatever she wants just because her fiance is a shareholder?”
His piercing gaze sliced through Rorey, who had remained silent ever since entering. He smirked and mocked, “Rorey, to frame Deputy Manager Tang, you even made use of your own child. It’s dangerous to keep such a malicious woman in our company as well.”
When her child was mentioned, Rorey blinked nervously as she tightened the grip on her manager’s hand.
“Mr. Shen, Rorey…” Her manager wanted to explain for Rorey but was at a loss for words, only able to sigh.
To be honest, it would be very difficult for someone with a poor reputation like Rorey to survive in the entertainment industry as the audience would reject them naturally.
Her manager had initially wanted to bring her fame up step by step in the entertainment industry.
However, she had committed such an offense. Did she really think that her route to fame would be so easy?
The manager was both frustrated and helpless. If Mr. Shen insisted on canceling the contract, she had to find another company to sign her contract.
However, which company would be willing to accept Rorey now?
Morphy looked at the flustered manager, as well as the silent Rorey. He stood up, raising his brows as he continued, “The matter is already confirmed. We shall discuss no further, please return!”
His attitude was obvious enough. Any continued discussion would trouble them further.
Hence, the manager turned around to pull Rorey. “Rorey, let’s find another way.”
However, she evaded his advances. The manager frowned and was about to open her mouth to ask.
However, Rorey rushed forth and slammed the desk with both hands, glaring at Morphy with unwilling eyes. “Mr. Shen, I suffered a miscarriage because of Rosiley. She was at fault too but you intend to place all the blame on me! Isn’t this unfair?”
In the end, she shrieked and was a little hysterical.
‘Rorey, stop.” The manager rushed forth to pull on Rorey, seeing that Morphy’s face had turned black with anger.
“Go away.” Rorey threw her hand away and mocked Morphy with a cold smile lingering on her face. “That’s right, Mr. Shen has an unusual relationship with Rosiley. I wonder if Mr. Shen knows that Rosiley has more than one man outside other than him?”
Morphy’s eyes turned into a cold gaze. He was gloomy and terrifying, emitting a cold and sharp aura which affected the atmosphere of the office.
Seeing that, the manager was scared stiff. She rushed forth to pull Rorey again, “Alright, Rorey, let’s stop, ok?”
She was almost begging her.
However, Rorey refused to listen to her. Facing the dangerous and gloomy Morphy, she snorted and mocked him fearlessly, “Why? Am I not able to expose what you did with her? How can sluts pretend to be virtuous? I insist on saying—”
“Rosiley is merely a prostitute that seduces men like you.”
“Rorey, enough is enough!”
