Victoria furrowed her brows in frustration as she watched her two children, Emilia and Kyle, walk into her room. They both wore expressions of unease, no doubt sensing the tension in the air.
With a heavy sigh, Victoria motioned for them to sit on the edge of her golden-trimmed bed, her face showed her anger deeply, the air was heavy with tension from her children, they already knew what would come next as they prepared themselves for their mothers scolding.
“Emilia, Kyle, I’ve called you here today because I need to address some serious matters,” Victoria began sternly, her voice carrying the weight of her disappointment. “You both are supposed to lead by examples as the daughter and son of an Alpha, and yet, you continue to act recklessly.”
Her eyes focused on Kyle, the Elder, one of the two siblings. With jet black hair and striking blue eyes, he possessed the features of a true leader, but Victoria knew he lacked the discipline and wisdom required. He was always slow witted and did things without thinking.
“Kyle, you are supposed to be next in line as the pack leader,” Victoria continued, her tone sharper. “But your impulsive actions and foolish behavior are not befitting of a future Alpha.
You must start taking your responsibilities seriously, your father wants to bring back your step sister back and if he does you know what will happen.”
Kyle fidgeted under his mother’s piercing gaze, feeling the weight of his shortcomings like a heavy burden.
He knew that deep down, he could be so much more, but his impetuous nature often got the better of him, deep down he wasn’t even interested in being the pack leader, his mother was just imposing it on him, for her selfish desires.
“And Emilia,” Victoria turned her attention to her daughter, her disappointment evident in her voice. Emilia, a stunning beauty with cascading golden locks and eyes that sparkled like the stars, had a reputation for her promiscuity.
“You have a duty to the pack, as well. But all you seem to do is waste your time with sensual pleasures, caring little for the consequences. I expected more from you, as my daughter you’re a disgrace to the pack, especially to me your mother .”
Emilia’s eyes darted to the floor, unable to meet her mother’s gaze. The truth stung, for she knew deep down that her desires had clouded her judgment. She longed for more purpose, something greater, but her hedonistic tendencies held her captive.
“Don’t you see, your father is no longer interested in what you do, he doesn’t care about you anymore, you both are only ruining his reputation wherever you go, you both have to change, or else”. She said coldly with a harsh tone.
As the scolding came to an end, a heavy silence settled over the room. Victoria’s stern expression softened as she observed her children, realizing that her words had wounded them deeply. Quietly, she moved to sit next to them, her voice filled with affection and concern.
“My dear children,” Victoria spoke softly, reaching out to touch their hands gently. “I scolded you because I want the best for you both. The future of our pack rests upon your shoulder, and I believe in each of you. But you must rise above your flaws and embrace the greatness within you, you can’t let that step sister of yours take what is supposed to be yours.” They both nodded their heads in agreement to what she had just said.
She paused, searching for the right words to guide them. “Your father is already making arrangements to give the pack leader to your sister, despite her being wolfess, but I believe that you both have what it takes to impress him and prove your worth.
We need to get rid of her before she comes back, if she really takes the lead, she might just throw us out with nowhere to stay, now I want you both to show your father the extent of your capabilities, Okay?.”
Kyle and Emilia exchanged glances, sensing the gravity of the situation. They understood that their actions not only affected their own lives but also determined the legacy they would leave behind.
“You have the potential to be strong, wise, and influential leaders,” Victoria continued, her voice filled with hope. “But you must work hard, find your purpose, and stand united as a family. Your father doesn’t believe in you but I do, so I want you to prove your worth to him, show him you have what it takes to be an Alpha and Emilia you have to support your brother.”
Tears welled up in Emilia’s eyes, and she reached out to hold her mother’s hand tightly. “I’m sorry, Mother. I vow to change and help my brother Become the leader our Father expected him to be.”
Kyle, his gaze filled with determination, echoed his sister’s sentiments. “You can count on me, Mother. I won’t let you down again. I’ll prove that I am worthy and be the Strongest Alpha and protect you mother and you too little sister.”
Victoria smiled, a glimmer of pride shining in her eyes. She had scolded them for their own good, and now she saw the seeds of resilience and determination taking root within her children, he was happy that at least they have decided to change, this was a turning point in her plan, now all she has to do is get rid to Rachel, and every other thing will fall in place.
“Remember, my dear ones,” Victoria concluded, her voice a gentle whisper. “Greatness lies within you. Embrace it, rise above your flaws, and let your true potential shine, don’t let that evil step sister of yours take what is rightfully yours.”
As they embraced each other, Victoria knew that this discussion would mark the turning point in their lives. The journey ahead would be challenging, but together, they would overcome their weaknesses, take over the pack, if Charles still doesn’t acknowledge her children then she would have to get rid of him. Nothing was going to stop her from reaching her goal.
