Book:My hot kidnapper Published:2024-8-20

Now go get ready. Today’s the day. Nathan reminded, pulling me in for a kiss.
Yes ! I exclaimed all of a sudden, pushing away from him and sprinting off to go shower and get ready.
Today was the day. The day that would change everything for the better. Imagining Nathan and I walking along a beach and hearing him tell me those three words was more than enough motivation to tackle and dominate this mission head on.
After I had brushed my teeth, thrown on a random loose shirt with jeans, considering the fact that I would be swapping clothes with a flight attendant there anyways, and had two waffles, I found myself climbing into a suitcase.
Are you sure Ryland won’t recognize them ? I asked Nathan with worry and doubt, pausing half-way in the suitcase.
Tyler, Landon and Max were all currently wearing the outfits of three knocked out, tied up and gagged guards who were currently locked up somewhere in the parking garage. Nathan had explained to me how they had managed to strip off all that black gear from Ryland’s three guards after knocking them out, all while I was sleeping.
Now, the three boys stood in black and grey camo pants, black full-sleeved athletic shirts, and black combat boots, all topped off with a pair of dark aviators. I was still wondering how they’d get past airport security.
I’m sure. He doesn’t even keep track of his own men. Worst case scenario, I’ll say the three called in sick and these are the fill-ins. Half their faces are covered anyways. Nathan reassured me with a small smile. Everything will be fine, I promise. Nathan spoke softly, now holding my shoulders.
I took a calming breath, before nodding and giving him an appreciative smile. That was much needed.
Man, how am I gonna keep all those ladies away with my attractiveness ? I think this outfit may be a bit too sexy for the female population. Landon stated, breaking that little moment I had been having with Nathan, walking towards me now with an arrogant smirk.
You look like one of those douchey CSI agents. I said flatly, causing Landon’s smirk to drop.
She’s just cranky because she has to sit in a cramped suitcase in the back of an SUV for twenty minutes. Max said now, joining our conversation and shooting me a look of mock sympathy.
I shot Max a glare and opened my mouth to give him a not-so-nice retort, but was cut off by my lovely boyfriend.
Okay, okay. Now let’s save the bickering for later. We have a flight to catch. He spoke to us like he was some kindergarten teacher talking to his class. Skylar, get into your suitcase. He said now, turning to me with a stern look.
If we weren’t on such a tight schedule, I would be smacking you repeatedly right now. I scowled at him.
I know, that’s why I chose this as a good time to order you around. Nathan grinned at me cheekily.
I resisted the urge to take my shoe off and chuck it at him. It was quite tempting.
So I stuck with another one of my icy glares and eventually complied.
See you on the flip side ! Max said cheerfully, bidding his farewell to me, even though I’d be in the same vehicle as him.
I simply rolled my eyes at him, but gave him a mock salute.
Have fun in that cramped suitcase. Tyler said now, grinning at me evilly.
I’d rather that than be sitting in a cramped airplane seat. I snapped back with a smirk. Oh the perks of being a flight attendant. I sighed dreamily, smirking when Tyler scowled.
Well that’s enough dilly dallying, chop chop now, places everyone. Max clapped his hands together, reminding me of an enthusiastic cheerleader.
Who put you in charge ? I asked with a raised brow, silently challenging him.
Well since I’m the eldest one here, I thought I’d take the responsible role. He retorted, crossing his arms and attempting to look stern and proper. Key word, attempting.
Actually I’m in charge on this one, sorry bro. Nathan said, stepping forward now.
What ? Why ? Give me three good reasons why I shouldn’t be the leader on this mission. Max argued.
Nathan sighed, looking tired of all this arguing, but nevertheless gave his reasons. One, we need a strong, calculating leader for this mission, not an overly-enthusiastic cheerleader, no offense to cheerleaders. Two, I’m the only one here that knows the building inside and out, not you. And three, I’m the most attractive one here. Nathan grinned at the end and shot a wink in my direction, causing me to roll my eyes.
Oh, and you think all those things fit you ? Landon piped up.
Yeah ! And the last one wasn’t even a real reason ! Tyler agreed.
It also wasn’t true, clearly. Max added in.
Are you guys really gonna do this right now ? I sighed in frustration, causing all the boys to pause.
You’re fighting over who gets to be team captain ? Come on guys, this is a serious mission, not some silly game of cops and robbers. I said, crossing my arms at the end.
No one said anything for a while. I think they finally realized how childish they had been acting.
Party-pooper. Landon muttered under his breath.
I stand corrected…
She’s right guys, we should be heading down now, we don’t want Ryland suspecting anything of us. Nathan decided to back me up like a good boyfriend should.
Whatever. Tyler shrugged.
I held in a chuckle, along with Nathan, before finally climbing into my suitcase.
I love you. Nathan said quietly just before I dipped my head inside the suitcase.
I love you too. And handle me with care. I gave him a stern look.
Always. Nathan grinned, before zipping me fully up.
Two minutes later, we were heading down the elevator, Nathan carrying me with care.
I was a bit disappointed that I hadn’t been able to say goodbye to Dustin and Jordan, considering they were still asleep. Nathan had told me not to wake them, he was afraid Dustin would get a bit emotional. Oh well, I planned on seeing him again soon after, along with his thirteen year old sister.
What took you so long ? I heard Ryland’s voice from a few feet away. I sighed in relief when I realized he didn’t notice Tyler, Max and Landon. Well, they were wearing big RayBans and also they hadn’t really met in person.
Your guards were having a small argument that I had to solve. Nathan simply stated, somewhat telling the truth. I tried my best not to snicker.
I just heard a grunt in response, before we all started moving again.
You two, throw the luggage in the back. Ryland ordered.
