Alexa was now outside the orphanage. She continued walking, trying to figure out which direction she was going. After thirty minutes of walking, the girl realized she needed food, clothing and shelter.
What should I do? Where is the place to take shelter? What about food and drink if I am hungry and thirsty? My clothing is only sticking in my body because I did not bring any from the orphanage. Hopefully, I will soon find a river or fruit to fill your stomach and a hut for shelter, the girl hoped.
“Do not worry about all that because I am always with you. Now, you must continue walking north, and you will come to a forest known as the Forbidden Forest. After that, go in there and tell the first person you meet that you want to meet Brazam Galeith.” Alexa heard the information from the mystical voice, which relieved her.
“Okay, thank you for the instructions,” Alexa muttered quietly.
The girl stopped moving. She seemed to be thinking about the message she received, especially about which forest would be his final destination. Alexa tried to remember whether she had ever read about it.
Forbidden Forest is a familiar name. Ah! I just remembered. I once read about that place in a history book where the witches lived. They settled there because Emperor Droitzon had ordered the killing of men and women who were suspected of being able to practice magic. I do not know what the cause of this is, but something must be hidden. When I was in the library, I felt like I had seen a map leading there, but the forest was very far away, a hundred miles from the orphanage. I forgot to bring a compass, how will I know when I am there? Alexa thought.
“You are in the right direction. Keep walking. Do not turn anywhere. For food and drink, you will find it suddenly if you feel hungry and thirsty.” The same voice was heard again as if guiding the target in the right direction.
“Thank you,” said the hazel-eyed girl.
Alexa looked around in all directions. The road ahead was muddy, but it was so quiet as if there were no humans at all in the area you were looking at. Not to mention the clouds that appear in the sky, where rain can fall at any time; once that young lady was sure, she moved straight ahead, according to the direction of the voice she had heard.
Meanwhile, in the Forbidden Forest
In a worship room, a one-hundred-and-seventy-five-year-old man was kneeling not far from the image of a woman. A statue had three heads, bodies, and hands and feet. The smoke from incense rose high, a sign that prayers were being said, especially to ask for help from the immortal Goddess whom he worshipped. An old man stared solemnly at the statue.
At the foot of the statue of the Goddess, there were many candles, two of which were red and black. In addition, there were several rusty keys, garlic, fruit, cakes, grilled meat, and wine. Everything was dedicated to the Goddess of Witchcraft.
“Goddess Magia. Please come here, hear my call, who represents the witches. After seven hundred years, we were all hunted, killed, and even expelled from the city of Snatz after the arrival of the dictatorial and ignorant Emperor Droitzon. I have faithfully waited for the fulfilment of the promise you made through Lord Utzkah and to this day have never doubted it,” said the old man.
“We all waited patiently for the chosen envoy to arrive. If that happens, give your servant a little honour so that I can meet, educate, and give magick teachings to her.”
I believe that the chosen girl will come to this place. No matter how far a wizard is separated from her race, she will indeed find her way home. The Goddess Magia, who unites all who take refuge in her name, will not let anyone go astray. Sooner or later, the prophecy will be fulfilled, and the revenge will be witnessed firsthand before both eyes close! The man’s determination.
“My loyal servant.” A mystical voice was heard.
The silver-haired man, still kneeling, was stunned when he heard his full name being called. Who said my name? Could it be the Goddess Magia? I guess so because that voice seemed familiar to me, he thought.
“Yes, Goddess Magia. I am listening,” said Brazam.
The blue-eyed man’s gaze was now directed at the statue not far away. Brazam was surprised because there was no longer a statue but a woman who was exactly the same as the image of the Goddess. As soon as possible, the High Priest bowed down in worship without thinking, with his face touching the floor.
“Brazam Gaelith, the prayers you have been saying always reach me. Today, the chosen girl is heading into the forest. Send a middle-aged woman who is used to exploring the forbidden forest without being noticed so she can keep watch nearby. Enter the door, then direct her to meet you. Guide, teach, and give all magick lessons so that she can help you get revenge. Give her more clothes, food, drink, and a special room. Tell her everything she needs to know.”
“Yes, Goddess. Is there any other message you would like me to do?” he asked respectfully.
“There is not any. You have to bring that girl here so you can find out who I really am. The day of liberation will soon arrive. Get ready!” answered the Queen of Witches.
“Yes, Goddess Magia,” said Brazam, obediently.
The atmosphere became silent again as if no conversation had occurred at all. The man then got up from his original position, then dared to look at the statue, which had returned to its original state.
“O Goddess, thank you for your presence and message. Finally, prayers were answered. The witches will get the throne, and Snatz City will return. Emperor Aufdzek, we will repay all the debts incurred by your ancestors, Droitzon, and the people who resisted. We have been waiting for painful retribution,” said Brazam, full of hatred.
The silver-haired man then paid his respects in front of the Goddess’s image. After finishing, he left the worship room without further ado and headed outside. The forest had become a small village where there were people’s houses, markets, etc.
Everyone who saw Brazam as soon as possible saluted, which was returned by nodding. The slim man was still looking around, looking for a woman ordered by Goddess Magia. A few moments later, a figure that seemed right appeared, so the High Priest rushed there without further ado.
I forgot that among the residents here, who are used to wandering in the forest, including going to Stantz Village, even to Snatz City, without being discovered, because they always use shape-shifting spells. I’m sure that’s what Goddess Magia meant, the man thought.
“Lutzhi,” said Brazam.
A slightly fat woman with white hair and a pair of red eyes as soon as possible looked towards the source of the sound. How surprised she was when she saw who came to where she was selling.
“Oh, High Priest,” said the woman.
Lutzhi, without further ado, paid her respects and stood up straight again. Brazam, who saw this, immediately nodded. “It is an honour to have you come here. Can I help you?” she asked kindly.
“Lutzhi, I need help. Please go to the entrance of the forest. There will be a girl with the following characteristics: skin as white as marble, chestnut brown hair, and hazel eyes. She is the chosen one, and you definitely know it. Do not forget to bring food and drinks to give to special guests, then take her to the Goddess Magia temple,” answered Brazam.
“Yes, High Priest, I will do everything you say,” she said obediently.
“Thank you, Lutzhi.” The robed man felt relieved because he had carried out Goddess Magia’s words, so he would prepare to carry out another message, which he had remembered well.
“You are welcome, High Priest,” Lutzhi said respectfully. That woman immediately turned around and left the place.
Brazam stared at the departure of his interlocutor. Hopefully, Lutzhi will soon bring the Chosen One to me. I can’t wait, thought the High Priest.
