In the girls’ dormitory,
“Guys! I saw that Drena was already back.” A blonde girl said in a rather loud voice so that the two friends to her right could hear it.
In the corridor on the first floor, many girls had begun to gather, but they were not only twelve years old, but there were also those aged ten to sixteen years old. They were interested in the information provided by the girl with the whole body, so many came there and chose to stand close to the source of the gossip.
“Are you sure, Taretva? Is she not still in the detention room?” The thirteen-year-old girl with her hair in two braids began to ask the person she was talking to on her left.
“I am absolutely sure, Matehca. I saw Drena and Madame Loiston. She must have been scared because she had to spend a month in a detention room underground.” Taretva answered with such sincerity that anyone who heard it was affected.
“Did you see how Drena looked?” A girl, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-eight centimeters, asked in a slightly loud voice because she could not stand near Taretva. The red-cheeked woman nodded, and it was clear that she liked being the centre of attention.
“Drena’s appearance was very worrying. Her hair was messy, and her body was getting thinner. I am sure she rarely bathes. You can see for yourself.” The thirteen-year-old girl answered with high confidence, plus her expression was so convincing that the girls there started whispering about Drena’s fate as soon as possible after leaving the detention room.
“If I am not mistaken, it was not only Drena who was punished, but Odessa, Frazto, Drutz, and Shul. Did you see Odessa earlier?” A tall, slim girl was on Taretva’s right, but the distance between them was about two meters. She did not want to miss asking.
“No, I did not see her. I guess Odessa and her three male friends were still there, so only Drena was released. It is weird, to be honest.” Taretva answered honestly. The virgin was also surprised because she did not see Odessa, so she could only speculate about where Drena’s good friend was.
“Did you see Drena and Madame Loiston talking?” The same girl asked another question as if she was not satisfied with the answer from the person she was talking to.
“No, I did not see that, Dethavin. I only saw Drena’s pale face as she was being escorted by Madame Loiston. I am sure she was sick because her body was caring for it. Well.. who could be happy if she was punished in the detention room? I heard that place was haunted.” Taretva continued to answer the silver-haired girl’s questions, even though she was surprised by her unusual curiosity.
“What a pity, but I think Drena and her group deserve punishment because they have been bullying Alexa all this time.” When they heard the messenger’s name, everyone turned to that person. It turned out that the voice belonged to a girl with long, black hair. That young lady was not alone because she had her twin sisters who were always with her.
Adaline and Aileen apparently listened to their conversation, and neither hesitated to defend the daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira. Taretva could only glare at the two twins but did not dare to criticize Alexa openly.
“Why are you even defending that witch? What spell has she put in your heads to defend her so fiercely?” Taretva started accusing Adaline because she did not like hearing Alexa’s name mentioned by the twelve-year-old girl. Adaline smiled sarcastically, and so did Aileen. They did not show the slightest fear, so all the girls who were in the same place became confused.
Without all the girls there knowing, a woman appeared who none of them could see. That immortal goddess flew up, then stopped below Adaline and Aileen, after which she slowly descended and came between the two twin girls. The Queen of Witchcraft held the shoulders of the two young women as if giving them strength.
“I dare you to speak like that in front of Madame Aufrodine or Madame Loiston. I want to see whether your guts are as big as your nonsense?” A young girl with a mole on her right cheek said calmly, but for some reason, the people there, including Taretva, feared her.
Taretva tried to hide her fear, even though she already felt trepidation in her heart. “You are really bothering us! Get out of here!”
Adaline and Aileen grinned horribly at the same time, but they did not say anything. The tense atmosphere was felt by everyone there, including Taretva, so that without being ordered, many women avoided the two twins, and quite a few people even dispersed, aka went into their respective rooms so that only a few young girls were present in that area.
Taretva was scared because she felt that the two girls who were defending Alexa were like other people. However, he did not understand why such a thing could happen to them. Meanwhile, the two twin sisters did not realize that they had been helped by an immortal goddess, which ordinary humans could not see unless the goddess was willing to appear.
“Could it be that you guys are-”
Before Taretva had time to finish her words, the Goddess of Witchcraft blew towards the target, so suddenly, a strong wind blew and knocked all the girls on the opposing side down. Everyone there was afraid. Moreover, the atmosphere in the area became increasingly tense, which made the situation anxious.
“Shut your mouth up, Taretva.” This time, Aileen spoke, so Adaline just grinned as if enjoying the fear of the people who still sided with the blonde girl who brought gossip about Drena’s condition.
“Why don’t you go back to your room? Are you smart enough to not have to do the homework given by the teacher?” The teenage girl with short, black hair made a sarcastic comment about Taretva so that the girl’s face turned red because she was embarrassed by Aileen’s on-target teasing.
“You!” A girl, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-two centimeters tall, was annoyed. Still, she could not say anything more because the frightening aura coming from Aileen and Adaline was getting thicker, causing many of her friends to run away.
The teenage girl panicked even more, knowing no one was beside her. Meanwhile, Aileen and Adaline, who had been helped by an immortal goddess, were still standing in their original place. They had not moved positions, but their gazes frightened Taretva as if they were judging her.
“Go away.” Adaline gave orders to the stubborn girl, even though she did not want that.
“I do not want it!” Taretva refused, but her courage was already low because of the scary atmosphere between the two twin girls.
Suddenly, Taretva saw something scary, so she screamed hysterically and fell on the floor by herself. The atmosphere there returned to silence, but the eerie aura remained so that none of the girls living on the same floor dared to leave the room.
