In a room in the girls’ dormitory, on the fourth floor, to be precise, a teenage girl was fast asleep. The sun had not yet appeared on the eastern horizon, so none of the girls who lived in the same area had yet woken up from sleep. The two big black dogs were still guarding the target’s left side of the bed and did not leave the place at all.
The candlelight inside the daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira, had run out, so there was no light whatsoever except from the two pairs of eyes of the two magical dogs inside. The atmosphere was tranquil, and from within the darkness, a woman appeared carrying a torch in her right hand without saying a word.
The two magical dogs’ gaze shifted to the woman’s figure as soon as possible, and they, without further ado, barked at her. That immortal goddess smiled because she got such a reaction. She flew towards the bed, and then he arrived near the two dogs. “Tatvatha and Tegothra. Have you seen anything suspicious?” asked the woman in her mystical voice.
The two barked in response, and the young woman seemed to understand what they were saying. “Good. I believe that you will take good care of the Chosen One.”
The Queen of Witchcraft slowly flew near the left side of the bed. The two big black dogs stepped aside as if to make way. When Goddess Magia was there, it coincided with Alexa changing her sleeping position from her side to her back so that the uninvited guest could clearly see her face. “Great. You have grown into a beautiful and intelligent teenage girl. I will bless you now.”
The slender woman began to release the torch, and the object floated by itself in the air as if an invisible hand was holding it. The immortal goddess raised both hands, then brought her right palm close to Alexa’s head and her left hand to her stomach. Goddess Magia’s eyes glowed red.
“I, Goddess Magia, bless you, Alexa Jocelyn Heart. From today, whatever people do, especially if they want to harm you physically, the attack will be turned back on them.” Goddess Magia began to bless the girl the goddess had chosen before the girl was present in her mother’s womb, Lavena Isolda Keira.
“Alexa will not be able to be attacked physically, and all your magick abilities will gradually increase as you grow older. At the age of seventeen, you will spectacularly leave this orphanage. I, Goddess Magia, will help you directly. I alone made the news of your departure spread throughout Zlatav. You will join Brazam, my loyal servant, and my people in the forbidden forest.”
“I make you bigger, stronger, and more dignified. No mortal can stand against you. You will kill Aufdzek in front of me. Alexa Jocelyn Heart, you are the Chosen One. Be strong, and do not be afraid about anything else in this world, especially when the war comes, because you and my people will retake Zlatav and rule as before.”
Goddess Magia’s expression seemed to hold deep anger, while her two beloved magical dogs only paid attention to what their special master was doing. The immortal goddess’s eyes were sparkling, making her face scary. A red light came out of the Queen of Witches’ right palms, then began to enter Alexa’s body.
The young woman began to feel something subconscious; even Alexa’s expression changed, but she had not woken up yet. Goddess Magia continues to channel energy to the granddaughter of Sir Elmer Louis Writh and Madame Phoenix Lily Katira. She did not remove her hands from the girl’s head and stomach.
“Ugh.” The sharp-nosed girl started moaning. However, the Goddess of Witchcraft did not want to stop her actions. The two magical dogs were still staring at their master without taking their attention away from the Goddess Magia in the slightest.
Thirty minutes later, the Moon Goddess had finished blessing her beloved messenger. The mysterious woman withdrew both palms from the girl’s body, then turned towards the two large black dogs. “Tatvatha and Tegothra. You have to follow the Chosen One wherever he goes. I will come at any time to ask for a report from you. Do not let Alexa see you so that she will not be afraid. In two months, I will pick you up. Do you understand ?”
The two dogs barked in response and Goddess Magia nodded, as if she already understood the meaning. The woman took the torch that was still standing still in the air miraculously. Before leaving the area, that immortal goddess suddenly remembered something, so she felt the need to convey it directly to the two magical dogs.
“If you want to eat or drink, then I will allow you to absorb the essence of the food or drink in the kitchen, but everyone must have eaten first. Do not let the Chosen One and his friends starve.”
After saying that, the mysterious woman immediately disappeared, even though her two dogs had not yet responded. However, they still bark in response to their master’s commands. Meanwhile, that young lady started to get restless, because her face seemed to change. Alexa changes sleeping position by herself.
The atmosphere returned to silence as if nothing suspicious had ever happened in Alexa’s room. That virgin had regained her composure, even though she had felt uneasy due to the blessing from an immortal goddess. The two big black dogs started to walk to their original position, while looking around as if to see if there was anything suspicious, and it turned out that the situation there was safe.
“Tatvatha, is the task given by our goddess an easy one or just the difficult one?” A magical dog asked his friend. He can speak like a human being.
“I do not dare to answer your question definitively, because this is the first time Goddess Magia has allowed us to be in the mortal world for a long period of time.” The other black dog answered the question in the same language, while occasionally looking towards the door with a pair of red eyes that glowed in the darkness.
“You were right. For me, it is an honor for me to be here, especially since our master ordered us directly,” the first dog said to his colleague and the other dog glanced at Alexa and the first daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira was asleep and she did not seem bothered by their presence.
Tatvatha turned his attention to the other person who was still watching all his movements. “I feel the same, Tegothra. Goddess Magia has ordered us to carry out a task like this, so she considers us capable of carrying it out. It is a rare opportunity and we must use it as best as possible.”
“Do you think something will happen to the Chosen One?”
“I assume so. Maybe there is something urgent for the Chosen One, which only the Goddess Magia knows, so he needs our help, but I have no idea what would be happening.”
Tegothra was silent and he looked around the room again, while Tatvatha turned towards the window. The sun had not yet risen, so darkness still existed in Zlatav. The two magical dogs fell silent and did not continue the same conversation. They started to sit on the floor, but did not let go of the target who was still lying on the bed.
“Mom… Dad…” Tatvatha and Tegothra simultaneously turned towards the bed, because they heard someone’s voice. It turned out that the girl, who had a height of one hundred and seventy centimeters, was listening and the two magical dogs felt sorry for poor Alexa.
“The Chosen One is delirious. She must really miss her parents.” This time it was Tegothra who muttered, but his voice was heard by Tatvatha, because they were close together.
“Yes. I do not understand why the Chosen One was separated from her parents because only our queen knows the real reason.” The other dog did not dare to speculate about why the Queen of Witches would do such an action, and believed that the immortal goddess already had big plans for the chestnut brown haired girl.
“Hopefully, the Chosen One will be happy and our goddess will allow her to meet her parents. Well, I am just a dog like you, but I also have feelings.
