In the detention room, underground,
“I hate to be here.” A girl’s voice wailed, and she sounded desperate. Drena sat huddled against the wooden wall, looking down at the food and drink on the floor not far from where the virgin was. She seemed reluctant to eat, as she was already depressed about being in the same room without being given access to the areas that the children in the orphanage usually visited, except for the bathroom.
“Do not just complain, Drena. Whatever you say is unlikely to change things.” A young guy sounded annoyed with the opposite sex’s childish behaviour. The young lady paid no heed to such remarks and continued to feel sad.
“This is all because of Alexa! If she were not in this centre, everything would be fine!” There was a resounding scream, and all four teens knew who had done the deed. Drena snorted in annoyance because, in reality, this was not true.
“Shut up, Odessa! You are the one who caused all of us harm. Why are you blaming everyone else?” Drena snapped at her female friend, who continued to yell for no reason. Such a situation had surprised the three teenage boys, as such an event had never happened before to the red-haired girl.
“Stop scolding me! You are just like Alexa! You are both stupid and coward!” Odessa shouted back like a person who had lost her mind. The last sentence just uttered by the interlocutor had angered Drena, so the girl spontaneously stood up, even though they were in different rooms.
“Damn you, Odessa! You cursed girl! May you burn to death one day, and your body turns to ash!” As soon as possible, Drena cursed the teenage girl who often bullied a messenger of Goddess Magia. The three young guys who had been listening to the argument between the two young girls began to get scared and immediately remembered the horrifying events that happened every day. They wanted to intervene but were unable to do so, as the five of them were placed in separate rooms.
“Stop it! Do not fight anymore because that female ghost could appear at any time!” The crooked-nosed man was forced to raise the intonation of his voice, as he did not want a similar incident to happen again. He began to look around the room, and there were no strange apparitions yet.
“I do not care! Odessa has gone too far! She should think that we are all getting punished here because of her!” The one hundred and sixty-seven centimeters tall young girl seemed reluctant to miss a moment, especially since Drena had already been cursed with words that had hurt her.
“Enough! Do you want to be visited by that weird ghost again, huh?! You will get me, Frazto, and Shul in trouble! How are you different from Odessa?” The twelve-year-old boy scolded the interlocutor, eager to stop the fight between the two young girls who were both in an unstable emotional state.
The two teenage girl fell silent when they heard the young guy’s words. The atmosphere was quiet again, so the three teenage boy were relieved, but this feeling did not last long because they seemed to suspect the appearance of a terrible figure, which could certainly come at any time. Meanwhile, Drena and Odessa took the initiative to close their eyes as if they were afraid to see something.
The atmosphere in the basement was still quiet, but that did not make the fear in the hearts of the five teenagers in the separate detention room go away. They could not do anything about it, even though the worry had not disappeared from their minds. The silence was excruciating for Odessa, Drena, Frazto, Drutz, and Shul.
Time seemed to pass more slowly for the five teenagers who were still under sentence, as Odessa had bullied the first daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira beyond belief. The silence still made them very anxious, even though there was no sign of anyone else coming.
Hunger pangs began to hit the four teenagers in their respective detention rooms, including Drena. However, the timid woman was reluctant to open her eyes because she was not ready to see the appearance of the creepy female ghost figure mentioned by Drutz. Meanwhile, Odessa chose to lie on the cold, dirty floor. The virgin had deliberately left food and drink lying around and didn’t seem to want to eat it anytime soon.
In less than a minute, Odessa fell asleep hungry. Meanwhile, Frazto, Drutz, and Shul were holding their stomachs as they were already hungry. They ventured to eat the cold food in silence. Drena heard the sound of dishes coming from her friends.
“Is it safe where you are?” Drena broke the ice between them. The three young guys who were eating heard the opposite sex’s voice different from before, as soon as possible feeling happy that the girl was not as emotional as before.
“Everything is safe, Drena. As long as you do not offend that girl, then there is no problem.” Shul replied, as she felt sorry for her friend, who still seemed to be scared.
“Thank you, Shul.” A young girl who was somewhat sensitive to mystical things, was grateful that someone was still willing to talk to her, even though the young man must still be chewing his food.
I am hungry, but should I open my eyes? What if I end up seeing strange sights? It was all because of Odessa! I want to go back to my nice current room. We did not see Madame Loiston nor Madame Aufrodine. Only one person came here to deliver food and drink, and then she left, thought the girl with dark brown eyes.
Drena’s stomach began to churn, which meant she was starving and needed to eat without further ado. However, the virgin was still afraid to open her eyes, having been traumatized by the event where she had done so, only for the worst to happen, resulting in her fainting and an immediate high fever.
Drena still heard the sound of dishes clattering, so the girl was tempted to do the same. Just as she was about to open her eyes, the red-haired girl felt something cold touching her left hand. That teenage girl started to get scared, so she did not dare to move and chose to ignore the hunger pangs that were already tormenting her.
“You said that you hated to be here, am I right?” The familiar mystical voice returned, frightening Drena so much that she was about to cry. She was unable to do anything else, even as her body began to tremble, as anxiety dominated her.
“Why are you so quiet? All this time, you have been torturing Alexa. Aren’t you enjoying it, Hypocrite Girl?” The disembodied voice spoke again, which made Drena even more stressed. Her tongue felt numb, so she could not make a sound, let alone scream.
“Ah, I know. Are you being deliberately quiet so I will not ask you again or are you hungry? You deserve to die because normal kids would never do what you and your group did. No wonder your parents abandoned you into an orphanage. You are a trashy kid!”
That horrible voice seemed to be intentionally destroying Drena mentally. The twelve-year-old girl became even more frustrated, especially when she heard the second and third sentences. Drena burst into tears, unable to bear the heartache mixed with the fear.
“Death to you, Drena! You and your friends will never enter the happy land. The five of you will be punished in the Underworld and live there forever. I will wait for you all and join in the torture of you, Odessa, Drutz, Shul, and Frazto. I will enjoy your pain for eternity.”
Drena tried her best to move or move, but her efforts were unsuccessful. The girl was eager to leave the place, but that could not be realized immediately. Meanwhile, the three young guys who were still eating food in their rooms were completely unaware that there was something wrong with Drena. They seemed to have forgotten about the two female friends who had quarreled.
As the two boys finished eating, one of them thought of Drena and started to get a bad feeling but tried to ignore the intuition. It was quiet again, but their place’s room temperature turned cold, making them feel uneasy.
“Frazto, Shul. Are you guys okay?” A young guy, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-nine centimeters tall asked rather loudly, as he was starting to panic a bit about the situation. Drutz occasionally glanced to the right and left but did not dare to look back.
“I am okay. Frazto, how about you?” Shul answered in the same voice as the other person. The young man also felt the same anxiety as he realized the atmosphere in his room had changed drastically. He tried to remain calm, but such actions did not work one hundred percent.
“Frazto! Frazto!” The two guys shouted at the top of their lungs. However, the name’s owner remained silent despite being called out by Shul and Drutz.
“Who are you looking for?” The mystical voice was heard again, so the two teenage boys were frightened. Soon, screams filled the basement, and no one was able to help them.
