Chapter 99: The Leader of Rebellion

To begin our plans, we would first begin by separating the strongest heir candidates, Arthur and Britanny.
Papa dispatched them, as Ismael reported a few days before I imposed that I would attack the mansion. However, Arthur and Britanny would return soon, so I had to handle everything in the Cantavalle mansion before they arrived and Caroline, who was also dispatched for her mission.
Also, the rest of my siblings, who opposed the idea of being the object of this household, had raised their swords and started wreaking havoc on this stunning night.
“What is the meaning of this, Dominixe?! How dare you raise your sword on us?!”
It was Zoe, and my blade almost pressed into her delicate skin. Aurora, Natalie, and Josephine were becoming wary since I gathered them in one of the drawing rooms after ruining their night tea party.
“Do you think that Harchier can even let you go for doing this to us?” Aurora snarled, clenching her hands, wanting to fight back, but as soon as she saw my eyes glowed in bloodlust, she backed down, settling in silence for a moment.
My lips formed a sympathetic smile. “Rest assured, my dear stepmothers. Papa is attending some business that would certainly make him busy.” I giggled maniacally before pressing the blade at Zoe’s neck, making her hiss in pain.
“What do you mean by that?” Josephine, who looked about to pass out, was near to tears before all of us turned our heads to someone who had just arrived.
“Sister…” Lambert said, smiling from ear to ear when he saw me, not minding that his tunic and hands were covered and splattered with someone else’s blood as blood-curling screams outside made my four stepmothers nervous and scared.
“Ingram! How dare you!” Natalie gasped and dashed in his direction, and slapped him. “Why are you raising your claws against your father?! Pompous!” She was flustering in fear and embarrassment. “Harchier is going to get us killed!”
I shoved Zoe to the floor, hearing her cursing, before stepping forward to halt Natalie from almost clawing her son’s face by piercing her shoulder. Natalie made a reverberant scream as she stepped back, crying.
“Is this the only thing you can do, Natalie?” I asked, masking my tone with coldness. “You still haven’t changed even though I was gone here for months,” I smirked bitterly.
“Shut up!” Her eyes were burning in rage. “You are not his mother, so you have no right to tell me if my actions are right or wrong!” She held her shoulder bathed with her blood, where I pierced my sword.
Lambert, who looked dead, darted his eyes at his mother before ignoring her. “Sister, Ingram is asking if we cannot restrict our abilities anymore and finish everything before Papa returns. Also, Maria has been imprisoned by Mother Aurora and treated her poorly. If you may, please save her…” he pleaded.
I nodded. “I have been planning that…” I glanced at those four women growling. “Guard them and mind-link Ingram to use your abilities to your heart’s content.” That was the last resort to finish everything.
It would mean that they wouldn’t need to use weapons and would use their werewolf strength and wolf forms. We were more capable of that strength than relying upon weapons.
“Yes, sister.”
“Where are you going, coward?” Zoe asked angrily.
I ignored them and left the drawing room to bring myself to the dungeon, where they usually imprisoned us in a filthy cell as part of the punishment. I arrived there to see Maria staring at nowhere in the wall while some dried tears stained her beautiful face.
Maria, who was never treated properly due to her brazen attitude, was irked when I opened her cell using the keys I saw hanging on the wall. “Come out, Maria. It is time for the rebellion.” I handed out my hand, softening when our eyes met. “Fight with me and help me end this nasty tradition.”
Her eyes were filled with tears before she reached for my hand, hugging me. “Sister!” She wailed like a child whose favorite toy had been stolen. “I was so scared…”
“There, there…” I gently patted her back while the melodious wave of agony and sorrow echoed in the chamber.
I calmed her down and dragged her away there before I approached Anita, who was rushing to me when she saw me. “Young mistress, everyone is being killed! What must we supposed to do?” She gulped and looked at Maria.
“Bathe her and escape with her, Anita.” I stared at my personal maid, who I thought before that she was the one who stole my antidote, and it turned out that she was killed in my previous life. The culprit was Caroline, after all. “There is a secret route behind the vanity mirror of my chamber. Escape there.” Anita nodded and was about to drag Maria away from this chaotic situation, but Maria halted her.
Maria held my skirt. “I thought I was going to join the rebellion…” she said in a weak voice.
“No.” I cupped her cheek, smiling. “It is time that I shall save you from this place, my dearest youngest sister. You do not deserve to live in this hell. Go…” I took her hand and placed a folded parchment in her hand. She looked at me, bewildered. “Bestow this to the man who looked angry by the end of the tunnel. I know that he wants to hear everything from me.”
“Who looked angry…?”
I nodded and caressed her unruly hair. I was talking about Valerian, whom Henry already told where we must expect everything. “Do it for me, will you?” I winked at her before bidding farewell to her.
“This way, young mistress,” Anita said as she ushered Maria, who was still confused.
I pulled out my sword and raised it toward the wall before running at full speed to lacerate the carpeted walls, ruining the chandeliers and the precious paintings purchased by my father. I did the same on the other side of the wall and lacerated them as well. I maintained all the things that were still valuable for my deceased grandparents.
They cherished this household only to be ruined by their one and only bastard son.
Then I went to the balcony, where I saw the storage house, where all the embezzlement items were stored, flaming in a strong orange hue. I was smiling, opening my arms in T-position, revering this sight to behold.
This was it… This was the best revenge I could ever hold so dear.
“At last…” I giggled maniacally, feeling the abomination surging from the bottom of the abyss.
However, my silent celebration was interrupted when I felt a presence.
“You seemed to be enjoying yourself, huh.”
I heard a deep, manly voice before immediately jumping from the balcony on the second floor to land on the ground. I even had to look up and saw Arthur with his menacing glare, along with him were Britanny and… Caroline.
My eyes widened in shock.
“Surprise, 1st sister!” Britanny said in a beaming tone. “Thought that we are not going to be here, no?” She clung to Arthur’s arm, having that annoying smirk smeared on her lips.
“If you expect that you are going to leave her unharmed, think twice again, Dominixe.” It was Caroline whose face had darkened.
I stepped back, raising my hands as if surrendering. “Oh, no… I do not intend to fight with all of you, my dear siblings.” I could fight them, but that would exhaust my energy. I might have failed to finish them since three against one was not the right number.
But that was not the case; I wouldn’t back down so easily.
“In fact, why don’t we have an alli-”
Before I could even finish my words, an arrow grazed my cheek, landing on the ground behind me. When I looked up, it was Caroline who had done that.
I used my finger to slide the wound, feeling my skin tighten as I felt the wound was not there anymore. “My, my, Carol… You are doing great in your archery.” Then I licked my finger where my blood was there.
I unsheathed my sword from my scabbard, preparing myself to fight them, when I saw that Arthur had jumped from the balcony.
“Shall we dance, good sir?” I asked, circling each other while maintaining a distance.
Arthur, whose eyes were as cold as ice, smirked. “Don’t mind if I break your bones,” he said. “After all, Papa has already ordered us to kill you in case you spark a war here.”
My stomach clenched from his frigid tone, enough to add more fuel to my already enraging abomination. I couldn’t help smiling bitterly since I knew that Papa had already found me a significant threat on his part, knowing that I was a daughter of the Moon Goddess.
He must be assuming that I had awakened my abilities, so he was eliminating me as soon as possible. That would probably be the case when before I regressed they were planning to spark a rebellion. It would be the same whether I regressed since Papa wanted me to die.
“I know.” When I said those words, Arthur attacked me, dropping his whip as his weapon. I growled and raised my sword, restricting my strength and blocking his strong claw by using my sword.
I even risked holding my blade to block it while Arthur was smirking. “You have gone weak, Domi… Is this the best thing you can do?”
I did not heed his word, knowing he was just trying to provoke me. Instead of being annoyed at his remark, I only smiled. “Watch me. I am inflicting a fatal wound on you.”
The time had frozen after saying those words. I took that as an opportunity to let go of my hands from my sword and shape my hand into a paw before plunging it into his stomach.
Even the blood coming out from his guts gradually floated in the air as if it was meant to fly. I giggled maniacally before drawing my face closer to Arthur and unfroze the time.
“Boo!” I blew his face, causing his eyes to widen while I took my claw away from his stomach and jumped backward.
When Arthur saw my hand covered with blood, he gasped and lowered his head to see that his stomach was punctured and bleeding profusely. He coughed blood before he knelt on the ground.
“How…?” Arthur looked at me, frightened that I could be able to move swiftly.
I smiled sweetly. “Didn’t Papa tell you who I really am?” I wanted to see if Papa said something that I was a daughter of the Moon Goddess or whatnot.
Arthur gritted his teeth, controlling his breathing as if he had been chasing a wild animal. “He did…” His face was shoved to the ground when he couldn’t even handle that he was bleeding immensely.
That made me giggle. “Right… Papa did not tell, isn’t it?” No one would believe him anyway. Everyone would think that he was going insane if that was the case. Then, I looked up seeing Britanny and Caroline, whose faces had gone color. I knelt on one knee, touching Arthur’s body, and cast my ability that it would stop him from moving, or rather, that wound I inflicted was what I worried about.
“You are not allowed to die until justice serves you, my dear brother,” I added.
Valerian told me that this was what my other self did to him to help him back. However, I was not planning to reverse the effect where he was still kicking earlier. I only needed to stop his bleeding as well as his movements.
“Now…” When I looked up again, my two sisters were out of sight. “It is either you escape or be my ally, my sisters. Your choice…” I muttered, not planning to catch them since I would let them know how they would handle this since I was in the upper hand.
But this was not going to be the end until I finished everything and my real opponent-
I gasped and quickly turned my head when I heard whistling in the starry night sky stained with an intense raging flame. I was quick to stop the time as my eyes widened when I finally saw the one I had been waiting for, unable to move from his standpoint, but I let him be aware that the time had stopped.
“Papa…” I muttered as something surged inside me again, feeling the fire intensify at the sight of him.
Papa gritted his teeth. “So, you really have awakened…”
