Thunderous roars echoed-
Upon seeing Flynn’s icy demeanor, Danna and the others couldn’t help but shiver.
It felt as if a wild beast was eyeing them, sending chills to their bones.
“We… we were wrong… sob…”
Terrified, Danna and her group immediately burst into tears and knelt down in a line.
What else could they do?
Devin, despite being beaten, didn’t dare let out a peep.
Remembering their earlier arrogance, they were filled with regret and fear.
Under such circumstances, even if Flynn were to smash their faces, they had no choice but to accept their fate.
Just then, the Blade Special Forces arrived.
Densely packed, they stood at the doorway, making Franklin and the others shrink back into the corner, silent as cicadas in winter.
They certainly did not want to end up like the two on the first floor, who were kicked for no reason.
Brandon glanced at Devin, his face utterly impassive.
In his view, Devin’s offense against Flynn was so grave that being left with half a life was a mercy.
“Blade Special Forces, at attention!” Flynn commanded loudly.
Swiftly-
The special forces straightened their chests, standing rigidly in the hallway, their authority undeniable.
Flynn spoke indifferently, “Today, I accidentally broke a cup here. They demanded five million dollars in compensation. I’m sure I’m not the first one they’ve tried to swindle.”
“A soldier’s duty is to protect the peace. Niarak will not tolerate such scum. Now, listen to my command-smash this crooked place!”
Smash the place?
The Crimson Dragon Gang’s members were furious.
“Mr. Clark… this cannot be done, I spent ten million on the decorations alone! Please…”
Devin, suppressing his pain, stood up, pleading, a far cry from any boss’s demeanor.
“Clang!”
Before Devin could say more, a hammer fell from one of the soldiers.
The soldier quickly picked it up, hiding it behind his back, and scratched his head, giving Flynn a goofy smile as if to say, “Sorry, my hand slipped.”
Flynn chuckled, looking at him, “Seems like you’ve got the hang of it!”
“Then let’s begin!”
With those words, excitement spread across the faces of the Blade Special Forces.
They knew Flynn’s character.
A fierce figure who struck fear into hearts.
The first time, he could have just defeated Mr. Cox, yet he chose to slap him violently.
The second time, intimidating the Eight Extremities School would have sufficed, but Flynn had allowed his men to destroy their vehicles and beat them mercilessly.
This time, how could he simply teach Devin a lesson? He was bound to smash the place.
Indeed, Flynn gave the order.
“The Riverside Club has five floors, twenty men each-team, smash it!” Brandon bellowed.
Being from Niarak, Brandon had long heard of the Crimson Dragon Gang’s misdeeds. This time, it was deemed a public service, naturally justified.
At his command, the soldiers brandished their tools-sapper shovels, hammers, military batons, all ready.
With a rush, they scattered.
The demolition began.
“Swing the hammer, hey! Today, I swing the hammer!”
“Eighty! Eighty! Eighty!”
The soldier who dropped the hammer took the lead, swinging his hammer at a door while continuously chanting, as if to boost his own strength.
Rose was amused by his words.
She giggled, covering her mouth, her eyes curving like crescent moons, delightfully captivating.
Flynn raised an eyebrow, feeling like he had turned into King Zhou of Shang, staging such a spectacle just to make a beauty laugh.
The Crimson Dragon Gang, however, could not muster a smile, looking at each other bewildered.
Previously, who would dare smash the Riverside Club? Even showing a hint of anger inside would result in a severe beating.
But today, watching their luxurious decorations being destroyed, they dared not utter a word.
Yes, some of them were armed, but would they dare to draw their guns?
Devin’s face, ashen as if he had swallowed something foul, pleaded breathlessly, “Mr. Clark, please stop. Isn’t five million dollars enough? There’s no need for this!”
“Five million? You think I need that five million? What I lack is happiness!”
“And let me tell you, after you smash it up, redecorate it just like it is now, because I will come and smash it again!”
Flynn looked at Devin with a half-smile.
Upon hearing this, Devin felt a surge of old blood rush to his throat, nearly spitting it out.
The Riverside Club had just been renovated, costing seventeen million!
To renovate again only to have it smashed.
And then to fix it up again.
Wouldn’t that mean over thirty million gone?
“Bang bang bang!”
“Clang…”
“Thud thud thud!”
The sounds of smashing rose and fell, echoing in the quiet night sky, each blow slicing like a knife through Devin’s flesh.
The Blade Special Forces, tempered by blood and fire, were not known for their mild tempers.
Their desire to smash was intense, especially since they targeted the assets of the Crimson Dragon Gang.
This group that bullied men and dominated women deserved a good cleanup!
“Mr. Devin has a lot of people, doesn’t he? Isn’t he full of vengeful desires? Why doesn’t he order his men to stop them?” Flynn looked coldly at Devin, his smile more a sneer.
Hearing this, Devin felt a chest full of stifled anger swell like a balloon, and blood rushed to his throat, spewing out a mouthful of old blood.
He couldn’t stand the insult, gritting his teeth, he said, “Flynn, don’t be too arrogant, using public resources for personal vendettas, mobilizing the army to smash things, I will report you to the military department tomorrow!”
“Using public resources for personal use?” Flynn shrugged indifferently.
“You, a civilian, have men under you carrying guns and committing violent extortion.”
“Shall we take this to the military department then?”
Devin was stunned into silence.
Brandon looked disdainfully at Devin, his voice cold, “Remember this, after today’s events, if you dare trouble Ms. Sharp and Mr. Clark again.”
“I guarantee the Crimson Dragon Gang will be wiped out!”
“Furthermore, operate with integrity from now on. If I hear even a hint of negative news about the Crimson Dragon Gang again, you, Devin, might as well not be alive!”
Devin shivered with fear.
Being a bully himself, it was easy for the military to find fault with him.
Killing him, they could find a hundred reasons to justify it.
Regret!
His guts were green with it.
He had never expected to encounter such a formidable opponent today.
Anyone could have guessed, but he never thought they’d bring in the army!
Had he known, he would never have dared provoke them!
But regret was useless now.
Tonight, Devin’s face was utterly lost, rubbed away by the young man before him.
He was too angry to vent even a fraction of it.
He clearly understood how Flynn had planned things out.
“Hm? Why are you silent now?” Flynn noticed Rose had been quiet, turning to look at her.
“I have nothing to say, just quietly watching you show off is enough,” Rose covered her mouth and laughed.
Flynn shrugged, explaining, “It’s hardly showing off, simply acting when things are amiss.”
“Let’s go, we’ll accompany Brandon to the second-floor resting area for some tea, I still have things to ask him.”
“Sure! I must say, your technique is even better than a beautiful masseuse, my shoulders feel so much lighter,” Rose said as they left the private room.
Flynn remained noncommittal.
Every day in Demon Island Prison, he had to massage a mad old man, mastering the old man’s techniques, not only relaxing but also healing.
“I’m heading to the second floor now, you guys start!”
Flynn gave Danna a cold look, dropping a line before turning to go downstairs.
“No… I don’t want to be slapped anymore… no…”
“Mr. Clark, I’m so pretty, could you bear it? I’ll sleep with you, please don’t make me slap my face!”
“My injuries from last time haven’t even healed yet, if you slap me again, the implant in my nose will break, wuuu…”
Danna and the others started crying desperately, their faces the picture of despair, as the sound of slapping began to echo!
