The weather in the South changed a lot. One minute the skies were clear and blue and the next minute it would be pouring rain.
Rosiley sat by the window of a cafe and watched as people outside walked by hurriedly. Her gaze was warm and content.
“Knock knock!”
A sudden voice destroyed her peace. She turned her head and saw someone wearing a cap and face mask standing in front of her.
She froze for a while before a vibrant smile formed on her beautiful face.
“Mr. Yan.”
The minute she had got off the plane, she had received a call from his assistant saying that he wanted to meet her.
Rosiley did not hesitate at all and directly agreed to meet her lifesaver.
“sister-in-law, aren’t you being too carefree?”
When Corey heard that she had agreed to meet another man, he could not help but complain. He said, “Imagine if my brother finds out about this.”
Rosiley glared at him unhappily. “If you don’t tell, and I don’t tell, who’s going to know?”
Corey said nothing.
Yea, he was not going to tell him, but that did not mean that the bodyguards behind them that were discreetly protecting them wouldn’t.
Calm and reserved. This was Corey’s first impression of Yan Xu.
When Yan Xu saw him, he froze slightly. Then, he nodded politely, his gaze distant and cold.
This man was not simple.
This was Corey’s second impression of him.
“This is Corey, my little brother,” Rosiley said by way of introduction.
Lu? A glow flashed across Yan Xu’s eyes rapidly. The corners of his lips seemed to curl. “Thunderbolt Entertainment Group’s Mr. Lu’s younger brother.”
Corey’s brows were raised. He stood up and stretched out his hand. “Yes, I’m his younger brother. Hello, it’s very nice to meet you.”
“Hello, Yan Xu.”
Yan Xu held his hand but quickly let it go. He turned to look at Rosiley and his gaze softened instantly.
Corey put down his hand. He noticed the change in his gaze and felt that things were not good. This man was interested in his sister-in-law.
He heard him ask, “How long do you plan to stay in Qing City?”
“Should be less than a few days. I’ll go back after shooting the video.”
It was just a video of Rorey acting professionally, it would not take up too much time. Of course, this depended on whether she would deliberately make her life difficult.
Hearing that she was only going to stay for a short while, Yan Xu became slightly disappointed, but he quickly hid it. He spoke in a gentle tone, “Let me treat you to dinner tonight.”
Rosiley smiled and shook her head. “No need for the trouble. Corey and I have decided to visit Qing City’s famous food street.”
His smile faded a little. Although he was disappointed, he did not push it. “Then let’s meet on another day.”
“Okay.” Rosiley gave a small smile and nodded. “I’ll treat you next time to thank you for saving me last time.”
“Okay, I’ll wait for your invitation.” Yan Xu fixed his gaze on her. The depth of his dark gaze was flickering with traces of gentleness.
Corey sat to one side and studied Yan Xu silently. He had an answer.
Yan Xu had specially taken leave from the production team to come out and see her. Hence, he only sat for a while before leaving.
It was just like when he had initially come. The guests in the cafe had not noticed that a famous celebrity had just been there.
Rosiley picked up the coffee on the table and took a small sip. At this moment, a faint voice came from beside her.
