East Coast Suburbs.
An abandoned dock.
This place was usually deserted, and at night, not a soul could be seen.
Suddenly, several cars approached with their headlights on.
A dozen people got out of the cars.
“Mr. Smith, they haven’t arrived yet,” Howard Clark said, looking at the calm sea in the distance.
After Chris Shelby killed Justin Smith, Howard Clark, the patrol captain, found himself unable to continue his work.
With no other choice, Howard Clark turned to Jazz for support.
Hearing this, Jazz frowned. He had come personally to help Ironheart Steer handle this batch of firearms. It was said that these firearms were personally escorted by Lord Protector Daniel Williams. If this deal went through, Ironheart Steer promised to avenge his father’s death by killing Chris Shelby.
Jazz glanced at Howard Clark and said, “Bring everything out!”
“Yes!”
At his command, a dozen men began unloading wooden crates filled with firearms. There were about a dozen crates in total.
Jazz looked at Howard Clark and said, “Take some men and keep watch.”
“Yes!”
Howard Clark nodded and led a group to stand guard around the area. This firearms deal was crucial for Jazz. Since his father’s death, these firearms had become a liability. If discovered, it could mean his own death. For his own safety, Jazz was eager to get rid of them.
While Jazz waited patiently, dozens of cars quietly stopped in a nearby wooded area. Chris Shelby opened his car window and released a small drone. The drone flew cautiously above Jazz’s location under the cover of darkness, unnoticed by anyone.
Chris Shelby then took out a tablet from the car. The drone was equipped with an infrared camera that could record clearly even at night. Soon, images of Jazz and his men appeared on the tablet screen. This drone was obtained from Lynx specifically for reconnaissance purposes.
Seeing this, Lightning exclaimed, “King of East Coast, you really are something! You even got such high-tech equipment.”
Chris Shelby gave Lightning a stern look and said, “Let’s get out of the car quickly before anyone notices us.”
“Yes!”
Lightning nodded, and a large group of patrolmen followed him out of the car. After getting out, Chris Shelby and his men slowly approached Jazz’s location. Chris Shelby moved swiftly through the pitch-black night as if it were broad daylight, which amazed Lightning.
After about ten minutes, Chris Shelby and his team reached a small hill. Nearly a hundred patrolmen lay prone on the hilltop. From there, they could observe Jazz’s movements.
Lightning remarked, “King of East Coast, this Jazz is really cautious!”
“Hmph!” Chris Shelby snorted coldly. “No matter how cautious he is, he won’t escape my grasp.”
Lightning frowned and asked, “King of East Coast, it seems like only Jazz is here; I don’t see Ironheart Steer or anyone else.”
Chris Shelby replied calmly, “Don’t worry; we just need to wait patiently.”
“Alright.”
Lightning nodded and fell silent.
About ten minutes later, another dozen cars arrived. Nearly a hundred people got out of the cars. Due to the darkness, Chris Shelby couldn’t make out their faces clearly.
Lightning became excited and said, “King of East Coast, they’re finally here!”
Chris Shelby sneered and said, “Now that they’re here, get your men ready.”
“Yes!”
Lightning nodded and immediately instructed everyone to prepare.
At the abandoned dock, Jazz was making a deal with Ironheart Steer.
Ironheart Steer looked at Jazz and said, “Jazz, let’s cut the crap. Hand over the firearms so we can each go our separate ways.”
Jazz smiled faintly and said, “Mr. Steer, no problem. But as per our previous agreement, you owe me some money that you had promised my father.”
Lord Protector Daniel Williams had shipped a batch of firearms to Ironheart Steer using Justin Smith’s channel. The deal was that once Ironheart Steer received the firearms, he would pay Justin Smith a sum of money. Now that Justin Smith was dead, that money should go to Jazz.
Ironheart Steer nodded and said, “Money is not an issue; I just need to inspect the goods first to ensure there’s no problem.”
“Alright!”
Jazz instructed Howard Clark to show Mr. Steer the goods.
Howard Clark called for men to bring over the crates and opened them to reveal various firearms inside.
Seeing this made Ironheart Steer’s eyes light up. With these weapons, Crazy Steer could replace East Coast Security Company and dominate the entire East Coast underworld.
To be safe, Ironheart Steer told Jimmy Cock to inspect the goods.
Jimmy Cock nodded and began checking the firearms one by one.
After completing his inspection, Jimmy Cock reported to Ironheart Steer that everything was in order.
Hearing this, Ironheart Steer smiled at Jazz and said, “Jazz, you’ve done well this time.”
Jazz replied calmly: “Mr. Steer , let’s not waste words; since you’ve seen the goods already you should show your sincerity.”
Ironheart Steer smiled faintly: “Don’t worry I’ll make sure you’re satisfied.”
With that several members of Crazy Steer came over carrying several briefcases filled with colorful bills.
Ironheart Steer said: “As agreed with your father there’s one billion dollars here please check.”
Jazz instructed Howard Clark: “Go check it.”
Howard Clark nodded then checked the money confirming it was correct before reporting back to Jazz who smiled: “Mr. Steer it’s been a pleasure doing business.”
The two sides began their transaction when suddenly Chris Shelby rushed in with his men catching everyone off guard.
“Who’s there?”
Jazz shouted nervously while Ironheart Steer also demanded: “Who are you? Show yourself!”
At once everyone prepared for battle.
“Hahaha! What an unexpected meeting!”
Chris Shelby laughed stepping forward causing Jazz’s face to contort with hatred: “King Of East Coast it’s you?”
“Hehe!”
Chris Shelby chuckled lightly: “Jazz didn’t expect us meeting again so soon! Last time I spared you but now you’re dealing arms here courting death.”
“King Of East Coast you killed my father I won’t rest until I kill you!” Jazz roared furiously.
Upon hearing Chris Shelby’s title Ironheart Steer’s face changed dramatically…
