Rosiley smiled helplessly as she exclaimed, “What a pair of delightful rivals.”
As the air became filled up with the fragrance of food, Rosiley’s stomach growled again. She looked at the fired-up couple and danced her way toward the kitchen.
Sachin was still busy with cooking. He was making the sauce for the ketchup prawns while keeping an eye on the roasted fish in the wok.
“So fragrant.” Rosiley walked toward him and took in a deep breath, smiling gently at him.
He smiled gently back. “Are you very hungry?”
“I’m all right.” Rosiley took an apron from the wall and put it on. “Let me help you.”
Sachin did not reject her and ordered, “Help me wash the Welsh onions and cut them up.”
“Yes, sir!” Rosiley saluted him mischievously.
Sachin chuckled as he looked at her dark pupils shining prettily like stars in the sky.
Rosiley was stunned by his beauty until Xiaoxiao’s angry voice from out of the kitchen caused her to come back to her sense. She stared into his dark pupils before evading them immediately.
“I shall wash the onions.” Taking the Welsh onions, she walked clumsily over to the sink.
Sachin found her shyness incredibly adorable. If not for the fact that he was busy, he would definitely hug her tightly and kiss her.
As the stare from the man behind her was too intense, Rosiley was a little alarmed and accidentally broke the onions in half.
Rosiley was speechless.
Once they knew that the food was ready, the two giant babies put aside their differences and rushed into the dining room.
“So fragrant!” Ying Xiaoxiao exclaimed when she saw the dishes on the table, her eyes lighting up in excitement. “It all looks so delicious.”
As she spoke, she used her pair of chopsticks to pick up a prawn. However, she was stopped by another pair of chopsticks.
She looked up from that pair of chopsticks and saw a sniggering Corey. “Witch Ying, please mind your table manners. This is not your house.”
“Corey!”
Roaring, Ying Xiaoxiao poked her chopsticks at him. At this point in time, Rosiley walked in with rice and smiled at them. “All right, stop messing around when you eat. Otherwise, I’ll forbid you from eating Sachin’s dishes.”
Her words worked, and the two of them calmed down.
Rosiley placed a bowl of rice in front of each of them respectively.
“Thank you, sister-in-law.”
“Thanks, Rosiley.”
The two spoke at the same time with mysterious harmony.
Rosiley smiled and shook her head. She felt like a mother taking care of two kids.
“Stop standing around and eat with us.”
Walking out of the kitchen, Sachin saw her standing there and hence ushered her toward the dining table.
As Sachin looked at the two people gulping down the food, he frowned. “Can’t the two of you have some table manners?”
“Brother, your dishes are too delicious.” Corey swallowed the rice in his mouth and exclaimed in agitation.
“Hum, mm.” As her mouth was stuffed, Ying Xiaoxiao could only nod her head to express her approval.
Sachin was at a loss for words and decided to ignore them. He quickly put a pile of food on the plate in front of Rosiley.
Rosiley saw that the dishes were almost finished due to the pile of food he had prepared for her. The corner of her eyes twitched. “Does he think I am a pig?”
“Eat more. Aren’t you hungry?”
Hearing that, Rosiley picked up her pair of chopsticks and ate quietly.
