Chapter 203: I Invited Her

The show featured both famous international stars and up-and-coming talents chosen by major entertainment companies.
Everyone was watching each other on this day, and the excitement was just as high as at a film festival. By seven in the evening, the participants started arriving at the hall, one after the other.
The red carpet was packed with press and reporters. Cameras and microphones rushed to interview anyone who arrived in a fancy car.
All the top names in domestic entertainment were there.
To everyone’s surprise, the guest from Orion Entertainment was a relatively unknown newcomer.
Her future seemed very promising!
Ashley wore a stunning new Armani fall gown and had gorgeous makeup. Her look was polished and soft, and her brown hair was styled beautifully. A skilled makeup artist had transformed her from a little-known Internet star into a rising actress.
On the red carpet, Ashley waved and smiled warmly, quickly winning over many fans.
“Sheila’s transformation with Orion Entertainment is amazing. She looks stunning today!”
“After all she’s been through, Ashley is finally rising!”
“Her brilliance will never dim!”
“Ashley, you’ve made it!”
Meanwhile, Natalie stepped out of a vehicle, dressed in custom Burberry and sparkling with diamonds.
“Ashley,” Natalie warmly said as Ashley took her arm, trying to boost her own popularity alongside the movie star.
Natalie gave a quiet, dismissive snort. She was baffled by how Ashley had joined Orion Entertainment, gained fame, and moved up so fast.
Even though she played nice, Natalie looked down on Ashley.
“Miss Scott, Miss King, look this way!”
The media snapped photos from every angle, capturing the impressive pairing of the up-and-coming actress and the renowned movie star, making them stand out among the other celebrities.
As they enjoyed the attention, a loud shout came from the crowd.
“Sophia is here! And next to her… Bianca!”
As soon as the news spread, cameras zoomed in on Sophia and Bianca, who had just stepped out of their car.
They were wearing exclusive Cherish autumn dresses and matching jewelry. Their outfits and accessories complemented each other perfectly, making them look both regal and stunning. They easily outshined Natalie and Ashley.
Online comments were buzzing with excitement.
“Cherish chose Sophia and Bianca this year. In the past, they always dressed global superstars.”
“Once the big-name actress arrived, some people were quickly overshadowed.”
“I think Bianca is way more beautiful than Ashley.”
The debutantes began discussing Cherish’s new arrivals for the season, already plotting to get their hands on them.
Seeing Bianca, Ashley’s face darkened, and she gritted her teeth in frustration.
‘Why was Bianca here?’
Bianca wasn’t just attending; she was wearing Cherish’s luxury clothing and capturing all the attention.
Weren’t only celebrities supposed to wear these brands?
‘How did Bianca manage to get them?’
Ashley recalled mocking Bianca at work for not being invited. It now felt like a huge slap in the face, making her seethe with anger.
Seeing Bianca also reminded Natalie of the embarrassing karaoke bar incident. Her face went cold at the thought.
Despite this, Natalie had to keep up appearances for the media. As she stepped into the spotlight, she gently pulled her arm away from Ashley’s grip and walked over to Bianca with a faint smile.
Natalie nodded toward a seat behind her and said, “Bianca, this is your first big event, so you might not know that agents usually stay backstage and don’t get front-row seats.”
Ashley stepped forward with a superior smile and added, “Bianca, there are seat numbers for a reason. Everyone sits where they’re supposed to. You came with Sophia, right? If you don’t have an invitation, you shouldn’t stay here. There are plenty of agents like you backstage, and that’s where you belong.”
Bianca smiled, her expression hard to read, and replied, “Miss Scott, it’s surprising to see such humility from someone new to a major show. You’re quite something.”
The senior leaders at the event shot disapproving glances at Ashley.
Ashley’s lips twitched as she said, “Just a friendly tip. It would be embarrassing to get kicked out by the staff.”
“How can you be sure I don’t have an invitation?” Bianca replied calmly.
Ashley, clearly amused, crossed her arms and smirked. “Bianca, it’s okay to be inexperienced. Agents don’t usually get front-row seats at big events. Who do you think you are to get special treatment here?”
Bianca smiled and started to reach into her bag.
Before she could show her invitation, a commanding female voice cut in.
“I invited her.”
Turning around, they saw a distinguished middle-aged woman approaching, standing next to Bianca.
Wearing an elegant purple gown, the woman looked to be in her forties and radiated beauty, grace, and sophistication. At first glance, she resembled Bianca slightly.
Everyone was taken aback.
“I’m the one running the show, Graciel.”
Hearing this, all four of them stared in shock.
Could they be wrong?
The elegant woman was Graciel, a famous fashion icon and the founder of Cherish.
Graciel was in charge of the show.
Suddenly, Ashley had a realization. She remembered seeing Bianca at the mall, where Bianca had received special treatment from Cherish’s top representative. Graciel had even ordered Bianca’s purchases at Cherish to be free.
Ashley had completely forgotten about that!
“Are you Ms. Graciel?” Bianca asked, looking at her with a familiar, clear-eyed gaze.
Graciel responded with a warm smile and gentle eyes.
However, her expression turned cold as she looked at Ashley and Natalie. “Bianca won’t be sitting here. She’ll be in the VIP section for the fashion show.”
‘What?!’
Ashley and Natalie were stunned.
VIP seats were usually reserved for high-profile figures in the fashion world or top executives from major companies, not just anyone.
“Ms. Graciel, VIP seats aren’t for just anyone, right?” Natalie asked, her voice showing irritation.
Graciel raised an eyebrow and looked at Natalie. “Bianca is the head of Emerald Artists Agency and is set to become our future business partner. If she doesn’t deserve a VIP seat, then who does?”
Natalie opened her mouth but couldn’t find the words.
‘What did Graciel just say? Bianca was going to be her business partner?’
Both Bianca and Sophia were shocked. Sophia grabbed Bianca’s sleeve and whispered urgently, “Bianc, what’s going on? Since when did you start working with Cherish?”
Bianca could only shake her head in confusion. “If I told you… I have no idea.”
Sophia’s surprise deepened.
“Ms. Graciel, I know Orion Entertainment has been talking about a partnership with you. Does our smaller firm not meet your criteria? Or is there a special connection between you and Bianca?” Ashley asked, trying to dig deeper.
Graciel looked at her with a smirk. “I founded Cherish and can work with whoever I choose. You’re practically a nobody, yet you question me? Orion Entertainment, with its preference for artists like you, isn’t on my list for collaboration.”
