After going downstairs, Yan Xu waited with Rosiley in the hall.
Rosiley was a little embarrassed and said, “Mr. Yan, I can wait here by myself.”
Yan Xu glanced at her. “I am worried.”
Well, Rosiley was speechless.
Yesterday, on the poster, as his brows gave an aura of indifference, he seemed distant even though he was smiling.
He gave off the same aura during the press conference. He was polite yet distant when interacting with the cast, not appearing overly intimate with anyone.
However, he seemed to be a different person today.
He was cold on the outside and warm on the inside, a caring and gentle man.
As if she had discovered a giant secret, Rosiley lowered her head as her lips curled into a smile uncontrollably.
Actually, she did not know that Yan Xu treated her gently because she was special to him.
Sachin walked into Courtyard View and saw Rosiley standing not far away, with… a man.
With his brows twisted into a frown, he saw his Rosiley lowering her head. The man stared at her with loving eyes.
He didn’t walk over. Instead, he called out for her on the spot. “Rosiley.”
Rosiley heard someone calling her in a familiar voice and immediately turned her head toward the sound. When she saw that familiar figure, joy spread out on her cute little face.
“Sachin.”
She ran over happily.
She was like a beautiful butterfly, flying away gracefully.
Looking at her hugging the man tightly, Yan Xu clenched his fists. His face seemed to turn dark with anger as a wave of gloominess crept up in his slender eyes.
Sachin hugged Rosiley tightly in his arms, enjoying her warmth and her aura. He had finally stopped worrying about losing her.
He hugged her so tightly until she felt pain. However, she didn’t struggle and merely leaned against his chest, listening to the sounds of his stable heartbeat.
After a long while, she whispered, “Sorry, Sachin, for making you worry.”
Sachin let go of her and inspected her. “Did anything happen to you?”
Rosiley smiled and shook her head. “I’m fine.”
Then, she turned around to look at Yan Xu with a rich smile. “Sachin, he saved me.”
Sachin followed her gaze and met the gaze of that man.
The two men stared intensely at each other, secretly competing under the surface.
Rosiley didn’t know about their fierce competition and introduced Yan Xu at the side. “Sachin, this is Yan Xu, the most famous young actor in the entertainment industry now.”
The competition between the two men ended with Yan Xu’s polite acknowledgment of nodding his head. Sachin raised his brows as he walked over to Yan Xu, holding Rosiley’s hand.
“Thank you for saving my wife,” Sachin replied politely.
Hearing the word “wife”, Yan Xu frowned and threw a skeptical glance at Rosiley.
The latter smiled shyly. “Yes, he is my husband, Sachin.”
Yan Xu’s expression changed. He did know Sachin, the CEO of Thunderbolt Entertainment. However, he didn’t know that he was already married and that his wife was… Rosiley.
“Are you feeling unwell, Mr. Yan?”
Rosiley saw that his face was pale and hence stared at him with concern.
“I’m fine.” Yan Xu squeezed out a hint of a smile.
“But…” Rosiley realized that he didn’t seem fine and wanted to show some concern. However, she was stopped by Sachin.
“Rosiley, since Mr. Yan isn’t feeling well, we won’t disturb him further. Let’s go home now. Let’s thank Mr. Yan properly when he gets better.”
