Veronica Parker raised her eyes and looked at the maid, the uneasiness on her face was so obvious.
If she would not eat, the maid would not be so lucky, right?
Veronica laughed at herself, she was so miserable but she could not bear to see them implicated.
She hesitated for a moment and opened her lips.
The maid was delighted and fed a little bit of food carefully to Veronica.

“Don’t fight me, huh?” Nick’s thin lips rubbed against the delicate skin of Veronica’s neck and his voice was hoarse. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
Veronica’s pupils gleamed slightly and it was reflected with tears.
No resistance?
She didn’t want to get hurt?
Then why did she get hurt in the end?
She didn’t need it, she didn’t need it anymore.
Rachel was speechless, she was locked up for four days and wasn’t released yet!

“The call record is 1 minute 58 seconds,” Kay said.
Rachel looked stiff, they checked her phone records!

Rachel’s heart was racing and she started to panic.
What if Nick would come?
She was afraid that she would confess everything as soon as she saw Nick! Then there would be no chance to beg for mercy!
“If I told the truth, will you kill me?” Rachel asked nervously.
“Probably not.”
Kay went back to the KING Group, knocked on the office door of the highest authority, and only pushed the door in when he was given permission.
Nick was sitting in a black seat, he was facing the affairs of the group.
Kay nodded slightly. “Mr. Cage, Veronica called Rachel for help to confuse the police and evade inspection. Rachel Hamilton agreed because of a threatened recording.”
Nick, who buried his head at work, raised his black eyes coldly.
“Before we dined in the clubhouse, Rachel came to you to help her get back to the entertainment industry. Before she left, she left her phone, recorded everything we said, and played it to Veronica.
