Rachel was furious that she dared to threaten her confidently. Veronica was more arrogant than her.

“Did you see her get in the car?”
“No, she took another taxi and left.”
Nick’s facial lines were cold and tight. His black eyes are full of hostility as he realized what trick did Veronica pulled. He knew this would happen, and it wouldn’t be that simple! Veronica has a clever brain. It’s not the first time she played him like this.
‘That’s nice!’ With a smirk, his face turned menacing.
Even if he dig three feet into the ground, Nick vowed in himself that he has to bring her back.
It is true that Veronica’s escape was not well thought out.

Rachel tested on the alcohol detector, while the two traffic police were checking her vehicle. They examined vigilantly the inside and outside of her car, the exterior and interior of it carefully.
After blowing, Rachel proudly asked. “Have I been drinking?”
The traffic police saw that there were no remnants of alcohol in the detector. He collected the equipment and asked. “What is the reason why are you doing driving so fast if you don’t drink? Don’t you know that there are roadblocks here to check?”
“I didn’t see it clearly, didn’t I? Since it’s all right, I’ll go.” Rachel walked away with a wave of her hand.
“Who let you go?” The traffic police stopped her.
“I haven’t even had a drink, so why can’t I leave?” Rachel asked.
“For the crime of smashing the roadblock, over-speeding, and obstructing public safety, do you think you’ll be acquitted? These will be computed and a fine of 500 dollars will be collected!”
