“Toby Cage?”
“Yes.” Kay Tours, that was amazing. I guessed it.
Nick hung up the phone and went through the surveillance installed in Veronica Parker’s apartment that night.
The first picture was Veronica Parker holding Toby into the house. Nick remained quiet and the atmosphere in the room suddenly changed. The dryness and heat that was not relieved a while ago suddenly disappeared.
Toby sat on the sofa, poured water for himself to drink, and the two of them talked.
Veronica’s sitting posture with her legs apart, and then the interactive details close together. He could not hear what they were talking about, but he guessed what they were saying.
From Toby coming closer to Veronica, holding her face, and then two people hugging. Nick felt so angry that the atmosphere in the room suddenly was cold.
Was that why she went back to her apartment early?
Was that why she won’t let him touch her?
She has been in private contact with Toby Cage! That was why she won’t let him touch her!
Nick looked at today’s monitoring, and then went to look at yesterday’s, and from the other day! There was nothing! Why not? Did they date somewhere else?
Did she betray him?
Betrayal made Nick gasp for breath and lose control of his emotions.
Damn thing!
He did not know that Veronica didn’t take a bath because she wasn’t really sleepy. She was just playing mobile games on her phone casually when suddenly someone called.
Veronica Parker was stunned for a moment. It was Nick.
What was he doing? What’s the matter? If something happened, why did he have to call? Why couldn’t he just come to the room?
She answered in bewilderment, “What are you doing?”
“Come here!”
“I told you, I won’t have sex with you!” Veronica still insisted.
“I’m giving you two minutes. If you don’t want me to do it in front of the children, then come here!”
Before Veronica could speak, he hung up the call.
Nick’s voice seems to be suppressing something across the phone. She was nervous as she felt that the atmosphere was different.
She didn’t know what had happened to Nick.
Her first reaction was, has he done something to himself?
Dare she not go there? Of course not.
She dared not disobey what Nick said!
Even in front of the six little ones, Nick can do anything!
Veronica went to Nick Cage’s room with a nervous heart.
She went to the door and exhaled deeply as if to let out the uneasiness.
As soon as she raised her hand, the door opened from the inside.
Before Veronica could check who opened the door, she was pulled in.
“Ah!”
The door slammed behind him.
When Veronica’s eyes met with Nick’s demon-like eyes, she was so scared that she instinctively retreated, her back pressed against the door, and looked at Nick defensively. “What are you doing?”
He was only wearing a bath towel. He must have just taken a bath. His muscular figure, especially the tattoo on his chest, made her eyes tremble.
Nick came forward, grabbed her by the neckline, and tore it down.
Veronica was frightened and struggled, “Nick, what are you out of your mind?”
Veronica’s small mouth opened as a result of speaking was suddenly covered, and instinctively turned her face to resist, but the next second her face was pinched, and her body was tightly pressed against the door by Nick. She was unable to move!
Veronica reached out to push him, beat him, but it was no use!
In a moment, Veronica was dragged into the bedroom by Nick and pushed on the bed.
Even if the bed was again elastic, soft, so hard to hit down, Veronica felt dizzy! Before she recovered, she was pounced on by the beast-like Nick, and the shadow shrouded her, “Nick, I won’t forgive you if you touch me!”
Nick’s reaction was so brief that it was such an illusory reaction that he reached out and grabbed her face and forced her to face his anger and cold grumpiness. “Are you sure I would not dare touch you?”
Veronica Parker trembled. She was not sure, she did not have any sharp weapon to fight him, but apart from that, what else could she do?
“Who gave you the courage? Toby Cage? ” Nick stared at her as if to eat her alive!
It was Toby Cage again? Veronica frowned. “I have nothing to do with him anymore. Why do you always bring that up?”
“What do you think?” The breath that Nick exhaled was so cold!
Veronica Parker breathed unsteadily and her heart was beating faster.
The covered-up facts made her feel more guilty!
She was just about to turn my face and the strength of Nick Cage’s hand became heavier, which made her dared not move.
What did he mean? Did he find out about her and Toby Cage’s meeting tonight?
Even if he could not see the situation in the house, Toby Cage entered the community to find her. It can’t be said to be 100% flawless.
“You. What are you trying to say? ” Veronica Parker asked, restraining her fear.
“There’s no need for me to explain. I just want to do it now! I should make you understand that you have betrayed my trust!” Nick pressed her body, full of hostility to occupy her!
Veronica shouted, “Wait a minute, you’ve misunderstood me! Toby Cage and I are nothing! I’ve made it clear to him that he won’t come to me again!”
Nick looked at her coldly and ferociously with black eyes. “You expect me to believe that?”
“It’s true!” Veronica Parker was anxious to explain, “He came to me, and I made it clear to him! Moreover, we hugged, like a blessing hug. And then I sent him away! That’s it, there’s nothing else.”
Nick’s black eyes eagle sharp stared at her misty eyes as if to see through her soul! His face showed no emotions and his voice was hoarse and dangerous, “I thought you were going to threaten me, but it doesn’t matter. If you kill Toby and imprison you, you won’t even have a chance to die! Would you like to try it?”
“Don’t.” Veronica almost collapsed, tears fell from the corners of her eyes, wronged and looked at him innocently. “What I said is true.” Veronica trembled and bit her lower lip tightly but dared not resist.
Nick held his breath, looked the same, and went on, “What did you say he was so excited about, huh?”
Veronica closed her eyes and his voice trembled. “I said. I have never liked him. I used to be together because I was lonely abroad, knowing that it was not loved, but dependence. He can’t accept it. ”
“So, your choice now?”
Veronica’s clear brow moved uncontrollably and opened her eyes and looked at him. “I told you, I. I wouldn’t choose anyone.” Fingers feebly clutching the sheets under the body, shortness of breath, “Nick Cage.”
“Prove to me that you won’t have anything to do with Toby Cage anymore!” Nick Cage’s voice was hoarse and his eyes were as scary as a black hole.
Prove? Did he want her to say that she was willing to be his woman and stay with him for the rest of her life?
Although she can’t escape, she didn’t want to say yes.
“Don’t tell?”
With an unbearable cry in Veronica’s voice, “I’m begging you, let me go.”
Nick Cage’s black eyes stared at her coldly. The tears in, Veronica Parker’s eyes were too dazzling! Tough heart, forced himself to say the cruelest words, “I decided to let my children win at the starting line and send them abroad tomorrow! You’ll never see them again in your life!”
