Veronica Parker was so familiar with that feeling that she opened her eyes vaguely and froze. ‘Why am I in the car?’ She asked herself.
‘Am I dreaming? Am I not in my office?’ Veronica added.
“Mom is awake!” Julie jumped with excitement.
Veronica Parker then regained her senses and sat up. “What are you doing here? Why am I here?” Her eyes roamed around. She looked out of the window, and she could see a vast blue sea!
Next to the boats was a yacht, its color was black and white.
Leo turned around, he was sitting in the driver seat. He asked Veronica Parker, “Ms. Parker, do you want to get off? The yacht is waiting for you.”
Veronica Parker gave a sharp look at Leo. Her six little ones were staring at her. She would be stupid if she didn’t understand her situation.
‘Great!’ Veronica Parker exclaimed to her mind.
The car stopped. Veronica Parker and her children got out of the car. She didn’t see Nick Cage.
‘Is he here or not?’ She asked herself.
“Daddy!” The excited voice of Lily.
Veronica Parker looked at her back, she saw the black Rolls-Royce. It came over arrogantly and stopped beside her.
The bodyguard opened the car and Nick Cage came out.
Veronica Parker’s eyes flushed and fell on the excited six little ones.
‘They are so happy.’ She said to herself.
She was brought here. No different from coercion, and Nick Cage didn’t even give her a chance to back out.
