“Yes.” Kay Tours said.
Veronica Parker attended the show in the morning which ended at noon.
As soon as she stepped down, Lucy Underwood came over with her cell phone and said “Host Parker, there is a call for you.”
Veronica Parker was in no hurry.
Since Isabella missed her phone call, she told Lucy Underwood that no one else should interrupt her work except when the school teacher called her.
Actually, a number had been added to her phone. It was Nick Cage’s number.
Anyway, she could be forgiven for not answering Nick Cage’s phone calls. It’s not like he didn’t know she was working. Also, for Nick Cage, the possibility of a phone call is zero.
The chance of his sudden drop was much higher than that of a phone call.
Veronica Parker got the phone and saw the call which came from Tom Parker.
As soon as she saw his name, her heart was filled with hatred and disgust!
“It’s only been one night, and you’re in such a hurry? Well, it’ll save me much time!” she thought.
She went back to the office and replied to Tom Parker, “I’m working. What can I do for you?”
“Did you reveal anything to Nick Cage?”
“I did.”
“What did he say?”
“If you want to recognize me as a daughter, you can’t just come straight to the point and talk about the development rights in the southwest, can you? Nick Cage is not so easy to fool. I just beat around the bush and said that you want to recognize me as a daughter. However, he said that you want to recognize me as a daughter with a hidden purpose and asked what you have done for me. ” There was an indifferent look on Veronica Parker’s face.
“What did you say?”
“I said that you have no other purpose. However, Nick Cage didn’t believe it.” Veronica Parker said calmly.
There was a moment of silence in Tom Parker’s side.
“Is there anything you want? Dad will give it to you.” Tom Parker said.
“As a woman of Nick Cage, what do you think I can’t obtain? How about this, give me some shares in your company. After all, I am your child, too. ” Veronica Parker said.
“This.” Tom Parker hesitated.
“Forget it if you can’t. Anyway, when Nick Cage finds out that we set him up, you must be the one who will die. I am the biological mother of his child, and nothing will happen to me ”
“Can’t you just convince him and let him sell the land to me?” Tom Parker asked.

This kind of sanctimonious virtue only made Veronica Parker’s heart even colder. “I hope you can do what you say and delete the video after you get what you want.”
“Of course, dad hopes that these videos will not hurt the father-daughter relationship between you and me. Even if there is no video, you are still my daughter, we are a family.” Tom Parker said.
Veronica Parker sneered in her heart. “Family? Isn’t it because of the powerful rich man, Nick Cage? You are not the only one who wants to be on top!”
“Shall I take my family to have dinner with you later? If we get to know each other, we will be a family in the future.” he said.
“Good.”
At the end of the call, Veronica Parker threw her cell phone aside.
“Tom Parker’s wife, daughter and son, right?” she thought.
She would like to see what kind of family can live in peace with a person like Tom Parker without being separated.
Unless, birds of the same feather flock together.
Veronica Parker thought that Tom Parker’s wife was the landlady, but when she arrived at the hotel and saw Tom Parker introduce his wife, she froze.
“We meet again.” Sarah North had a smile on her face which showed a disdainful arrogance.
She said the word “again”.
In Veronica Parker’s memory, she remembered this woman deeply.
At first, she took a fancy to Tom Parker. She went to negotiate with her grandmother and finally bought out the relationship between them for $3 million.
She was still young at that time. Now, even if she used all kinds of skin care products on her face, she could still see the traces carved by the years.
She was not as good as Chloe Bowen when she looked young though she was extravagant in dressing up.
“However, does Sarah North know the existence of the landlady? I think I know what’s going on.”
“Yes, I didn’t think we’d see each other again.” Veronica Parker smiled, sarcastically.
Tom Parker said, “Sarah knows you’re in capital and wants to see you! She didn’t even need me to say dinner as she brought it up first. ”
Sarah North secretly signaled at Tom Parker and said, “After all, she is your daughter. She deserves it. Besides, she and Clare are close in age, and they will have something in common.”
Veronica Parker thought slightly, “Who is Clare?”
“My daughter. I also have a son. Didn’t your father tell you?” Sarah North asked.
“He did.” Veronica Parker looked down.
It’s just not the right age.
When Tom Parker first met this woman, she was already thirteen or fourteen years old. In terms of time, the children of Tom Parker and Sarah North should still be in primary school.
“Why does she look so young? Tom Parker didn’t have a baby with another woman before she had a daughter, did she? Not likely.” She thought.
“Sarah North, this woman, would she quietly be someone else’s lover for more than a decade? Also, she is a rich woman.”
“I think they’ll hit it off too.” Tom Parker smiles.
“Didn’t they come?” Veronica Parker asked.
“It’s unfortunate that they can’t get away from the company, but it’s a deal. We can get together again sometime other time. If they heard, they will be very happy to have you as a sister! ” Tom Parker said.
It would be naive for Veronica Parker to believe this reason.
At the dinner table, not long after eating, Sarah North tentatively asked, “Do you know the person in charge of the King Group very well?”
“He is the father of my child.” That’s all Veronica Parker said. People with brains would understand.
However, it’s funny.
If she hadn’t been given $3 million by Sarah North, she wouldn’t have been able to raise a child.
“So, when did you get in touch with your father?” Sarah North asked again.
Veronica Parker saw that the purpose of this meal was not for the sake of the ‘family’ but for Sarah North suspecting about Tom Parker.
