I had forgotten he was in the room until he did what he was instructed and a dim light came over us. You know it’s cold so I don’t have to inform you. She placed the gel on my stomach before getting the wand spreading it across my belly.
Even after being in the office for my third time now it still felt like ice against my skin. Alright lets get the show started. Mrs Rose began typing away with one hand before the screen popped, revealing our baby.
That’s not what made me tear up though, it was my baby’s heartbeat. It’s so loud. I whispered, hearing it consume most of the room. It was never this loud like before.
