Rosiley smiled when she spoke. However, her eyes were as cold as a December snow.
Those women who surrounded Lonny were immediately annoyed by her insult.
They walked toward Rosiley one by one—
“Rosiley, what do you mean?”
“Rosiley, don’t think you are amazing just because the CEO likes you!”
“I forgot, who is the woman who dated her sister’s fiancé? How dare she say that others are arrogant and daydreaming? What an amazing world to live in!”
“…”
They spoke one after the other. However, Rosiley smiled calmly and did not show any sign of anger.
“You…”
However, Yayoi was furious, unlike the calm Rosiley.
Rosiley patted her shoulder and asked her to calm down.
When she saw the calmness of Rosiley, Yayoi’s fiery rage dissipated slowly.
That was because she knew that Rosiley would not let those noisy women off.
Indeed, Rosiley grabbed the teacup on the table and splashed the contents of it at Lonny and the other women.
“Agh!”
Suddenly, a shriek rang out within the huge office.
“Unfortunately, this is just a cup and not a pail.”
Rosiley stared at the teacup she was holding and pursed her lips in regret.
“That’s hot water that I just poured.”
Seeing the horrified and frustrated demeanor of the women, Yayoi felt delighted. However, she was afraid that they might be scalded. If that was the case, they would definitely ask Rosiley for compensation.
“Don’t worry. The water wasn’t that hot. Their skin will only turn red.”
Rosiley replied casually. The corner of Yayoi’s eyes twitched. Ever since this gal got together with sir Lu, her actions became harsh and direct, cruel and merciless. She didn’t know if that was necessarily a good thing though.
“Rosiley, what’s wrong with you?” Lonny pointed at Rosiley’s nose and scolded her anxiously in anger.
As Lonny was standing at the front, most of the water was splashed on her arms, making her skin red.
Thus, she was so angry she wanted to tear Rosiley apart.
“As you can see, I am ill. An illness that can make me disregard all possible consequences. You won’t be able to handle it.”
Rosiley curved her lips into a cold smile. “Lonny, you’d better not bully Yayoi, or else…”
She walked a step forward and approached Lonny. Using a soft voice that only both of them could hear, she said, “I will not forgive you.”
After she said that, she glared at Lonny coldly before pulling Yayoi’s hand and walking away.
She saw Lina, who was standing in front of her office door. Rosiley pulled Yayoi over.
“Manager, we want to take leave.”
Lu Na stared at them, then at Lonny and the rest. With a tight frown, she asked, “What are all of you arguing about?”
“Manager, actually…”
Yayoi was about to explain when she felt Rosiley squeeze her hand. She immediately shut her mouth and did not continue any further.
“Actually what?” Lina asked.
“Manager, actually nothing much. You know that Deputy Manager Lu and I always have feuds with each other. Thus, we argued.”
“So that’s why.”
Lina knew about Lonny targeting Rosiley. Hence, she didn’t ask anything further and approved of her leave.
“Thank you, Lina.”
Rosiley threw her a grateful smile. The latter smiled and didn’t say anything further.
