In the CEO’s office, two people stood in front of the stylish desk. They were Rosiley and Tiana. Their gazes landed on the man whose head was lowered at this moment.
Morphy flipped through the news draft in his hand. His brows were furrowed. This sister-in-law was really keen on detailing his entire love history. He only had so little to protect his dignity now.
After reading through it, he let out a dry chuckle. “This draft is not bad, not bad.”
Rosiley gave Tiana a delighted sidelong glance. Then, she said, “In that case, Mr. Shen, do you think we can publish it?”
Could he say no? Morphy was smiling bitterly in his heart. The result of knowing an unkind couple was so torturous.
He coughed gently before saying slowly, “Yes, Deputy Manager can decide.”
“Mr. Shen, what do you mean?” Tiana looked at him in slight disbelief.
Morphy spread out his hands. “Literally.”
“I disagree,” Su Tianai said sternly.
“You disagree?” Morphy found it slightly humorous. Who was giving her the courage to disagree?
He looked at Rosiley, who pouted her lips and said bitterly, “Mr. Shen, you don’t know that in Managing Director Su’s eyes, this is trash. Trash, do you know, Mr. Shen? Useless trash.”
As Morphy saw how she was speaking in such an angry yet helpless manner, the corners of his eyes twitched. “sister-in-law must have been pissed off.”
“This is trash.” Tiana did not try to conceal her dissatisfaction with the draft.
After saying that, she snatched the draft from Morphy’s hands. She spread it open in front of Rosiley, pointed at the content, and questioned her, “Deputy Manager Tang, you invaded your boss’s privacy and even plan to release this as a piece of news. Aren’t you showing your disrespect to your leader?”
Rosiley glanced at Morphy before curling her lips into a smile. A crafty glow sparkled in her eyes. “Managing Director Su, do you think that I am capable of invading the Shens’ privacy? You have greatly overestimated me.”
After she said that, Tiana paused for a second. She quickly composed herself, squinted her eyes, and asked, “Who knows what kind of dirty tricks you used to get so much information?”
“Haha.” Rosiley gave a fake smile and took over the draft. She pronounced each word loud and clear. “Let me tell you this, I gathered all this information through an interview with Mr. Shen. A regular interview procedure.”
Tiana looked at Morphy in disbelief. The latter nodded gently. “That’s right, I told her all of this stuff.”
“Why?”
“Because I want to know what it feels like to top the trending searches chart.”
This was the reason that Morphy gave, but Tiana knew that it was definitely not that simple.
Initially, she deliberately picked on Rosiley just to see her stumble and learn the consequences of offending her.
But who knew that Rosiley would find Morphy right away? This caused Tiana to feel that it was a little difficult to continue her plan.
Initially, she wanted to make use of the news draft to make her life difficult. After all, given the Shen family’s status, how could they allow themselves to appear in the public eye?
What was even more unexpected was that Morphy had given his approval for the draft.
